Went for lunch and the food just wasn't great. Order the Artichoke dip with chips and the onion rings. Appetizers took 15 mins to come out just for the dip to be really cold. Thankfully you can't mess up on onion rings. Entrees came out and its just bland with no real seasoning . Took the Hostess 5 mins just to greet us and get my party of 3 seated. Seems there's alot of people hanging out in the kitchen and not welcoming or checking on the parties. Extremely short handed. We had to wait to get seated, no one seemed to be watching for customers; the bartender finally got us a waitress to seat us. She couldn't find a clean table to put us in; we walked through rows of dirty tables before finding a spot. Our waitress did her best; she bused tables to seat other parties coming in. The bartender was also watchful and I was amused when I saw him try to seat a party; I think there were no clean tables. The food was good when we finally were served. Wanted to try a value special off of Applebee's 2 for 2x menu, so ordered it on their app and made the 15 minute drive to pick it up. This location is right off of the highway, so it was an easy in/out. When I got there before dinner, it was pretty empty with no host, so wandered around a bit to see if there is a carry-out station (like there is at Chili's). Couldn't find one, so just waited at the host station until somebody came over. I let them know I was here for a pick-up, so he led me to the kitchen area and confirmed that my order would be ready soon. It came out soon after. They asked me to sign their copy of a CC receipt...I was surprised since I had used Apple Pay on the app, but I guess that's their policy. At this location, it is 2 for 25, and includes some popular items. I got the half slab of baby back ribs ($5 upcharge) with sauteed garlic green beans, the cheeseburger with fries, and the order of onion rings. The total came out to $30 before tax. In terms of the food, it was varied. The green beans were bad, it was either beans from a can or just really old beans...they were mushy and the garlic couldn't bring them back. The onion rings were excellent, even after the car ride...large and crunchy without being overly greasy...it used panko breading....not sure why this isn't the standard for onion rings, instead of others using a batter which can often get too greasy. My burger was solid, the patty was good and they used fresh vegetables as toppings with a good brioche bun. The fries were forgettable, limp and soggy. The ribs were OK, definitely all the smaller side, but the honey BBQ sauce was really good, and the ribs had a decent amount of meat...reminded me of what you can get in those heat and serve babyback ribs (curly's or lloyd's). Definitely not grilled, but probably either microwaved or just heated in a water bath. read more

So for reference we came on a Saturday at 1pm. There are 21 people in the restaurant... 3 servers that are visible, 1 bartender and the boss is somewhere. Ordered drinks... took 20 mins... water, ST and a soda. Appetizers: full of grease- pickle fries and ordered the sampler- best part were the quesadillas...Took another 20 mins.... Still haven't seen a server to complain about the service or food outcome! Drinks have been empty- 15 mins before anyone came to assist. Thank goodness I always carry a water with me! The bartender brought us our food and refilled our drinks. Food took 36 mins from the time of ordering till when we got it. Severe lack of hustle. People got up and left without ever seeing a server. Very disappointed. Do better! We are finally paying at 2:41. Never got my water refilled! read more

The southwestern chicken bowl for lunch is really good. Everything was made fresh and ample amount of portion sizes. Add some ranch to it and it's even more delicious. Went to Applebees Thursday night hoping for a nice dinner out. Hostess seated us in a booth that had a broken seat, husband almost fell to the floor while the waitress stood by and watched. Moved to a different booth and finally got a waitress to take our order. My meal, a salad came out and twenty minutes later my husband finally got food was mediocre and waitress basically ignored us all evening. Asked for the manager to voice our complaints and he was less than helpful. Offered us a $15 voucher to come back, uh no we will never go there again. When talking about the being both he told us there was another one also asks he's waiting for a tool to fix it. I suggested in the meantime they not seat anyone in the broken booths. He said yeah we could probably get sued. Ya think? When we told him the whole experience was unacceptable and we wanted our meals comped he said he wasn't authorized to do more than 30% off or he would get in trouble. Lazy new manager had my server, who I've had every time I've been here in the last 4 years, quit midshift. Nobody in the restaurant cared to take care of us after that. Took 30 minutes to get the check, which they had already replaced our server with the manager's friend to get the tip. Service is good, the waitress was really good at the visit. Food came out in a timely manner. Food is ok for what it is. Pretzel with cheese sauce is outstanding actually. Wonton taco is creative. So I visit this Applebee's about two weeks ago me and a friend. I had a very bad experience with the manager on duty. The was cold. The drinks was not made right. The manager on duty had the opportunity to make things right even after the it was totally on Applebee's ,unfortunately he did not make it right so which led me to take a survey. The general manager reached out the same night. Sheena listened to everything that I had to say , upon her investigation . Everthing that I said was correct. So of course being a good general manager, she made the situation right. I have been going to this Applebee's for years. It's the neighborhood Applebee's, so of course, and I will continue to go to this Applebee's. read more

Customer service by Brandon T. was good. I know it's hard to find good help out there but Brandon did a good job taking care of us. The food was good. Burger was cooked perfectly without having to ask for it to be well done. Kudos to the team cooking the food. The tenders on the menu were not what I received. But it tasted ok. Now the place is in desperate need of a face-lift . Paint chipping off the walls, windows and ledges need to be cleaned. The place has wear and tear. The restaurant menu is still competitive to chilli's or TGIF. Hopefully the Applebee's invests in their locations before you have no customers and have to start closing location. read more

My wife and I, along with my 90 yr. old mother went there on a week day about 12:30 to give them a try again. There were plenty of available tables and booths so we waited for seating. After 1 min I saw that a waiter glanced our direction and noticed us. Two more minutes went by, (I timed) but no one came to offer seating. Visited on 6/7/25. After 10 minutes we received our drinks. I had to ask 3 times for sweet and low before someone other than our waiter asked If I needed sugar. The best part of the meal was the spinach artichoke dip on the sampler. When the food was delivered it was only warm. My daughter had an empty cup for 10 minutes before a refill was offered and then they took her cup and never brought back a refill. We asked for hot honey boneless wings as part of the sampler and received buffalo and then an extra side of the honey hot wings which I was charged for but never wanted. Had not eaten at Applebees in years because of the quality of the food but been seeing their commercials which made the food look good so thought we would give it a try. Wrong, it was the same. Ordered a special which came with an appetizer and entrees. Got the Spinach & Artichoke dip which saying was mediocre would give it a compliment it did not deserve. The entree was a 6 oz Steak with Mash Potatoes and Broccoli. Broccoli was over cooked and mushy, Potatoes obviously were instant out of a box and the Steak could only eat 2/3 as the balance you could not chew. I'm done never again. read more

This was probably the best Applebees I've ever been to, and I haven't been to one in many many months because of a poor experience last time around. All the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Went for lunch and the food was fresh and delicious. It's clear that they are very focused on a bar surrounding rather than a family style restaurant like it used to be, but that's no issue with me! Food was ok, but nothing special. Service has caused me to make the decision that I will never return to an Applebees. My wife and I arrived at the hostess stand at approximately 5:45 pm. the only employee we saw was the bartender tending the bar. He left the bar area for about 45 seconds. I thought he was alerting someone that we were waiting. After waiting to be seated for 10 minutes, I decided to call the restaurant to get seated. Who answers the phone? The bartender that saw us come in 10 minutes earlier. He came over to seat us, but he was laughing that I called the restaurant. What a jerk. On the way to get seated, I heard him call out to the waitress and ask I'd she was the only one working tables. She was. After another 5-10 minutes she finally made it to our table to take our drink order and food order. After we finished eating it took the waitress 20-25 minutes to bring our check to us and another 10 minutes to return our credit card so we could be on our way. So this was a total of 45 minutes in just waiting. I don't blame the waitress for the poor experience -- I blame the management . Here you had one waitress working 6 or 7 tables by herself. I believe that was a total of about 19 people that she was waiting on. The management should have more employees working at 5:00 on a Friday night and not try to pinch pennies or overwork their employees. Now you know. This is why I would never recommend Applebees and why I will never return. read more

It was my first time in Applebees since 2017 and first time in Texas. I used to like Applebees but this time it was a really disappointing experience: I didn't like any of the food we ordered - burger, ribs, fries, shrimp, blonde dessert. Bun of the burger was soaked in grease, ribs had weird taste, fries were simply not tasty - if you buy frozen fries from any grocery store and bake them at home, they will be better. We didn't have a massive order and the place was pretty empty, still it took a lot of time to serve our food. And the food came at different time for different people. Back in 2015-2017 I lived in WA and we would go to Applebees occasionally and always liked it. Don't know what changed: is it the time, different state, COVID or new management (everyone blames those 2 for everything all the time) - I'll never know. In any case, sad to see it was not at all we expected and I won't be back. read more

We decided to have some appetizers and drinks and stop by Applebees and we couldn't have chosen a better spot! First and foremost customer service from the beginning to end was great. We were greeted and thanked by the hostess for choosing Applebees and that was refreshing. As of late I feel most establishments lack basic customer service skills and here they exceeded all expectations. The server showed up and we told her why we were there and she showed us all the drink specials and gave us a moment to choose. She returned with waters and we placed our drink orders then gave us a moment to choose our appetizers. When she returned with the drinks we placed our order. Shortly after our food was brought out hot and delicious. We were full so we asked for to go boxes and lids and she brought everything out along with a $5 off coupon card to use on our next visit there. They also asked if we would like to be submitted in a give away for thanksgiving and so we put our name in a drawing and low and behold we were selected to win the thanksgiving dinner for 4. It worked out perfectly because we had a small thanksgiving then family popped up out of no where and so we were lucky enough to be able to accommodate them as well. The thanksgiving meal was delicious and included Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry! Definitely will be returning to this specific location! read more

UPDATE: I threw up when I got home and so did my husband... The service was incredibly slow. A family that arrived a few minutes after us never received their drinks and left after about 15 minutes. Our server was unable to meet the standard expectations of service. Several other members of staff had to bring out our food/drinks. Our meal was $30 more than it should have due to a "miscommunication" by our server. Even the manager had difficulties figuring out the issue with our ticket. It also smelled bad... the wait time for food was entirely too long. food was decent. I had a party of 5 and we all got the wing deal. well a few people go the wrong wings and it took another 35 mins to get a new set of wings.... which had drizzled bbq sauce on top! once we finished the first set we ordered a 2nd set, got our 2nd set about 30 mins later... the first group still hadn't received their wings and fries... requested our 3rd round.. different flavor.. got 5 wings and 6 fries. I went as a group of three, we waited a long time to get seated even though they were not crowded. The food was GARBAGE! I ordered baby back ribs waited forever, and they were as hard as diamonds. I've been here a handful of times and have had good service. I usually come after work on weekend nights to have a drink and maybe an appetizer. I've had the cheese sticks, nachos and side salad (see pictures of the last two items). The nachos were huge and pretty tasty. If you come at night, be aware that they can't serve alcohol after midnight. But, they will still serve food up until 1am (or something like that). The drinks have always been good and the people serving have always been nice to me and the people I've come here with. I have no problem coming her after work to have a drink and relax. read more

We went to this restaurant today to celebrate our anniversary. While there our meal was served and we were eating, one of the waitresses started sweeping around our booth. My husband requested that she stop as we were eating and did not want to consume dust particles that she was stirring up. She responded rudely, and my husband asked her to stop again and responded by telling him to not raise his voice to her and started raising her voice to us. My husband shifted in his seat and raised his arm up to help him shift his sitting position to speak to her again and she then yelled at him that she was pregnant and he better not raise his fist to her as her husband would come and protect her. She the ran down the stairs hollering that she was being threatened in the work place and she insisted that we be told to leave the restaurant. She was yelling that at the Manager who then came to us and asked us to leave. I calmly explained what happened and at no time did my husband or myself threatened the young woman. We apologized to the Manager for any misunderstanding. She returned to speak with the young woman who continued to insist we leave because she felt threatened. So we left. The manager did comp the meal, the sad part is the restaurant lost customers, and to add insult to injury, my husband is 71 years old, a Marine veteran, has epilepsy, and fell in January and broke his lumbar vertebrae from L2-L5, full on fusion, and starting to walk again. She almost ruined our anniversary. I am sorry for her coworkers. We will be praying for her and for the really nice Manager. read more

my husband and I went to Applebees last week hoping for a nice, quiet dinner. The temperature was so low that some of the patrons were going outside to get beach towels etc to wrap up in. we asked for the air to be turned up and the waiter said he was sorry but could not do that. Finally took our order and several around us. we waited 30 minutes - he said French fries were still cooking. people around us that came in after us got there food. He then came around the corner with ours and dropped it all. Would be another 30 minutes so we said no a d got up - waiter said there would be no charge. husband did complain to the manager. Got on our car and the door opened and this little bar person started yelling we needed to pay and writing dow license number. I told her and the manager they should talk with the waiter before they started making accusations. sent Corporate a letter telling this all this and only received a "we got your complaint" letter Needless to say we will never eat at any Applebees ever. read more
