I said it out loud and then a female waitress said we can sit down anywhere. She was so soft spoken that I could barely make out what she was saying. We placed our orders. I had the Strawberry Banana Pancakes. They came out looking great, however, the strawberries up top were spoiled and tasted awful and rotten. Looks can certainly be deceiving. Sadly, the bananas were soaked in the strawberry syrup, which ruined the top and bottom pancakes of the stack. I was only able to eat the two in the middle and had to cut some pieces off as to not get food poisoning, since they were drenched in the spoiled strawberry syrup. When the waitress came back to ask if we were done eating, I let her know to throw out the strawberries, as they were spoiled and disgusting. She just said "ok." No apologies, no inkling of concern or care. Nothing. We then waited like two weirdos for over 20+ minutes for the check, while she went to sit down again with her family at the back table to continue eating. They must have overheard us being confused at where we can pay, when she finally got up and said that we can pay at the front and walked over with us. I was charged full price for the garbage rotten pancakes that I didn't eat. Horrible service. Watch out so you don't get poisoned, especially in the summer when fruits can spoil quickly when not properly stored.

Although the pancake flight was pretty, the pancake itself was kind of dry. I liked the cinnamon roll pancake though as it was unique and perfect for my sweet tooth. Keep in mind that this is a very carb-loading meal, so you're bound to be really full after! It's a bright and clean cafe--perfect for after church.

She said they were good...better than the previous place. My grandson had chicken nuggets. It is the first time I've ever seen him eat all his nuggets, so they must've been good. To drink I had the sweet tea. It is fresh, but could be sweeter. The other drinks on the menu are sodas. They need a couple choices for kids like milk and lemonade. The service was good. I asked another employee about it, and she brought me two more pieces, but they were completely different from what I had originally received. I spoke with who I believe was the manager about the situation, and she offered me a cinnamon roll because of the mistake. However, when the cinnamon roll was brought to me, our server tried to charge me for it. When I explained that it was offered to me because of the issue with my food, she questioned me about who gave it to me and why I was given it in the first place. Her attitude came across as very rude and unprofessional, especially after I had already experienced an issue with my order. I understand that mistakes happen, but it's the way the situation was handled that really bothered me. I came in wanting to enjoy my friend's birthday breakfast, and instead I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be coming back.

The atmosphere is very small town feel, which is great if you like that type of environment. The servers are all fairly solid, even the woman most reviews complain about. She likes to talk, but she is always accurate in her ordering and I prefer to have somewhat of an honest conversation with my server, not the normal bland small talk. The only real issue is that menu items can be hit or miss. If something is good, it's almost always amazing like the pancakes or chicken fried steak. If it isn't good one time, I wouldn't recommend grabbing it again, like the catfish with very little flavor or the fries that taste unsalted. Overall though, most items on the menu are top tier!
