Love getting a local coffee shop added to Melissa. The area it's located is going to be amazing once everything else is built up. I can see the outdoor courtyard area being so nice. The interior of this place is very pleasing, the staff is very friendly and they have a surprisingly large menu. They offer kids drinks as well as a popping boba drink. I drink my espressos black and that's it. Their espresso is actually decent; not a burnt flavor. I'm excited once they start serving their food items. This place will do very well. So glad it's here. They also have drive thru. Parking however at this moment is a pain because of all the construction.

The light wood floors, soft colors, hanging plants, and curated furniture make it feel like a cross between a boutique café and a really pretty living room. The staff has always been kind and friendly the first time I had a lot of questions and the gentleman working was patient and helpful! Very appreciative! There's art for sale throughout the space, a little bookshelf you can borrow from, and even a private room you can reserve for meetings. Their bathrooms are honestly beautiful too (yes, I notice these things ). You can tell so much love and detail went into creating this environment. My drink recs: * Honey Cinnamon Latte (warm, comforting, perfectly sweet) * Blueberry Chai Latte (so unique + SO good) * Caramel Macchiato w/ an extra shot (sweet, strong, and absolutely amazing -- the perfect balance ) All are 10/10 and worth coming back for alone. The food menu is also great quality, fresh, and just as thoughtful as the drinks. This place is perfect for: Working remotely or studying Coffee dates Meetings A cozy solo moment to read and reset I love discovering places that feel like a second home, and George's Coffee @ 121 is definitely one of them. If you're in the area, go you'll understand.

The food was great, and so were the drinks I got (all iced drinks in the summer). We had a great time catching up on the comfy sofas and chairs up front. They were open on this bright sunny morning. It is a modern small coffee shop, capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The shop is one mile east of US-75 on the north side of W. White Street. Skip Buc-ee's coffee in Melissa and support this local business.

This shop and roastery is owned by a guy who knows and is passionate about coffee and roasting, and is happy to interact with customers in the shop. He's got a small library of videos on YouTube on a variety of topics that are of interest to home enthusiasts as well as professionals. But how's the coffee? I dropped in for an espresso and a cortado, followed by a bag to take home. All of the products were based on their house blend, Ember Espresso. It's promoted as a "well developed medium roast", and I'd agree with that assessment. It promises notes of chocolate and caramel, with a smooth body, and hints of dark berries. Both drinks in the cafe (particularly the espresso) delivered in all point. The berry notes appeared towards the end, almost like a sweet farewell as the shot went by. My home shots from the bag (brewed on a Decent Espresso DE1) were very similar, with intense chocolate and that slight berry "punch", and went fantastic in milk drinks. The cafe itself is well appointed and inviting, and can accommodate a pretty good crowd. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's not their fault. Nothing a little walk won't fix. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a good selection of beans to go along with a nicely appointed menu of drinks. The quality of beans and drinks here could almost make it a destination for true coffee enthusiasts; I'm fortunate that it's only about 20 minutes from my home, so it's a no-brainer. Definitely worth the side quest if you're making the trip up US 75 towards Oklahoma or back.
