What a cool place to just hang out and take in. First time coming in and I was greeted with smile. The staff member was very knowledgeable about all of the different products they carry like edibles, candies, and desserts. Also nice that they carry quality flower. That is all located in the back. The front has offerings of coffee, tea, refreshers, shakes, and smoothies. I ordered the Pineapple Express refresher and added blue lotus mushrooms and delta 9. It tasted amazing. You can also add kava to your drinks as well! Would love to go back maybe earlier in the day next time and try their Rose Gold coffee. It sounded amazing! read more

Loved this shop, can't believe it exists on this part of Hwy 5. When I stepped inside, I was transported far from the somewhat sketchy feeling business park that is next to a hair salon and a tax preparer's office to a retro era. The furniture is unique and vintage. There are large cozy seating areas to lounge while there is no rush to drink your infused beverages. In fact, we played Nintendo while we sipped excellent infused coffee drinks. Nothing on the menu is infused, but you can request any beverage be infused from a list of infusion options. I chose the Blue Lagoon, I think its called, it made me relaxed for about 30 min. The staff was helpful in helping me decide, as it was my first visit. Will return. read more

Leaf Cafe is a really chill vibe! They've got a lot of seating with calming music and a tv playing cartoons in the background. They also have games to play while you sit and drink your beverage! Great place to socialize or even get work done. They have a very unique drink menu, I definitely want to go back to try the herbal mocktails. I got the matcha latte with coconut milk. It was a little on the sweet side but still enjoyable! There was only one person working the cafe but he was really nice and appreciative for us stopping in. I love the handwritten notes on the cups! Prices were pretty comparable to what coffee costs these days... ~$10 for two drinks. The "Bud Bar" in the back has a range of things you may desire including lots of incense! read more

This place is a one of a kind one-stop-shop. They're a coffee shop in the front with a head shop in the back. Not only do they serve craft coffee, smoothies, slushies and tonics, but you can customize your drink with blends of various mushrooms, cbd, and THCA. They're also now offering Kava, Kratom, and thca-infused alcohol alternatives. They really have something for EVERYONE; if you're not sure what's right for you, just ask. They love to educate and help you find something you like. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They frequently hold arts & crafts events, as well as local vendor shows. I've been to a couple and they're so much fun. Interior is aesthetic af. There's foliage, local art, video games, and a bud bar in the back. I'm a McKinney native, and I recently moved to Montreal. Although marijuana and mushrooms are legal and very easily attainable here, there's nothing quite like Leaf Cafe-- not even close. It's one of the first places I stop to visit when I'm back in Texas. I met up with a friend here for the first time to grab a coffee, catch up, and cowork . First of all, the aesthetic inside is adorable ! It is super instagrammable and I love the swings at the front entrance and all the green - it's giving hippie , Earth loving vibes. I got a sopapilla latte which was super tasty . And they have a smoke shop attached , which was perfect because I needed to grab some things anyway . The barista was very sweet and helpful and the coffee was really affordable ( $5 for a medium latte , where I'm easily spending $7 at some places for a small ) . I would definitely come back . It's definitely not a craft or specialty coffee spot - there are better places around downtown McKinney for that . But if you just want a quick latte and some cool vibes - it's worth checking out . read more

Always a fan of supporting small businesses! This lovely little nook is a wonderfully chill and relaxing cafe that offers comfortable seating and lounging with a full service espresso bar. They also sell smoothies and rechargers and have a full selection of CBD products available in the back. Love this place! I was looking for a new coffee shop place to jus relax and spend some morning time in and found this perfect little place to hang at. The coffee shop was well furnished and very artsy. Cool high top tables to work at for someone who needs to use their laptop, (something I will definitely do sometime soon), they also have very soft ambient music that was just the right volume for someone looking to just chat with peaceful ambience, or study with just the right amount of background noise stimulation. They also sell a lot of neat tie-dye, clothes and wall art. I didn't really just how roomy the place was considering it looked like such a hidden corner of the strip. I was greeted by a friendly barista who gave some wonderful recommendations. I decided to try the Horchata Frappe. If you don't know what it is then do yourself the favor and try it! The whole environment is peaceful and allowed me to get carried away in comfortable conversation with another patron who was working on their laptop. The place had these nifty little pillow swings that you can lounge in for hours. Totally the place to make yourself comfortable and hang out.
