They sell a variety of well known brands like Now and Nature's Bounty at better prices than most name brand stores, and there's a plethora of lesser known herbs and vitamins not sold in most stores. Love this store! Very helpful staff. We started taking CBD for chronic back pain and they have a variety to chose from. Our dog is scared to death of thunder storms and they have a Herb medical drops for dogs that helps my dog. I have tried their variety of cereal, snacks, etc. Large variety of bottled water and plant no-meat entries. I went in to Herb Mart yesterday looking for loose by-the-pound herbs. I was informed by a helpful employee, Michael, that they do not carry loose herbs and that I was unlikely to find them in Plano due to restrictive city ordinances. He also referred me to a competitor that might carry what I was looking for. I had a quick and friendly conversation with Michael and was on my way, and was very happy with the service I received. I really appreciate when a business that doesn't carry what a customer is looking for refers them to a competitor that may carry that item. It makes me feel that I am seen as a person and not a walking dollar sign. I can confidently recommend this store and their employees for their consumer-friendly practices, and when I'm looking for something that they do carry I'm sure to visit this spot again! Every since they closed their Dallas location, I have been so lost. I made the trek out to their Plano location and it felt like home. Friendly staff, a wide variety of food (organic and gluten free available), essential oils, vitamins, and supplements. The staff is always willing to help the customer and they will even order items for you if it's not on the shelf. The store is a no frills no thrills shop, but it's clean and welcoming. There is a large parking lot right outside the store so parking is a breeze. The only thing that will keep me from coming back is the distance from my home. read more

Its almost as if you cannot even find a poorly formulated product here! On top of that, they have the best prices on high quality products compared to any other local store I have shopped. I was shocked to see a woman employee with no mask, just smiling, talking and waiting on people - two men with scarf type masks, one with the scarf on his neck, the other wearing it but not covering his nose. These scarf masks are inadequate anyway but at least make an effort to cover your nose and mouth. And to have a cashier with no mask is irresponsible. Some "health" store. Will not be back!!! So, I've heard about this place via 'word of mouth'. One of my co-workers mentioned this place specifically telling me that Kombucha tea is much cheaper here than Whole Foods Market or Sprouts. Since I buy Kombucha tea on the regular, I thought that it's a good idea to go here. Not only did I realize Kombucha tea is much cheaper here, GLUTEN FREE IS AFFORDABLE, TOO! I was in total shock to see that their Udi's gluten free bread is like less than $4. Elsewhere it's like at least $5-6. I am a carb hungry individual and grocery costs can sure add up as opposed to much cheaper "wheat contaminated" food, as I'd like to call it! I know that there are more natural ways to go gluten free by just eating your typical fruits and veggies regularly, but this place sure does sell affordable gluten free food in terms of carbs, which can kinda sorta be a good or bad thing, I guess... Amongst all the other items, you are bound to save at least 20% compared to other health food shops. As a borderline homeless college student living on chump change, this is the place to shop for health conscious individuals. Don't take the aforementioned statement too seriously... A supplements reference book at the front of store so you can look up things on your own. 5. Small store, easy in, easy out, no maze to trap you into unwanted purchases 6. Frozen organic meat at prices less than farmers market-booo to the local farmers for hiking up meat prices at FM. 6. The prices here are very good and they carry good quality vitamins and supplements. I have been a fan of this shop until this past Friday. I was appalled at the lack of care in protecting customers during the pandemic. There were a lot of customers in the store and the very narrow aisles were not one-way, so customers had to pass within 6 inches of one another. The customers were wearing masks, although there was no sign on the door suggesting they do so. The clerk at check-out did not have a mask, and he indicated I should step up to the counter which would put me at a 24" distance from him. I indicated I wanted to stand further back because he was not wearing a mask and he became quite hostile and rude. I left as quickly as possible and will not return until better precautions for customers are in place. read more
