Loved this place so much I went back for a 2nd time in the same day ha. Well this place came up several times in my research for some of the best coffee in town and in Mckinney and it did not disappoint. Got the: Paramore - Honey Walnut Matcha with Brown Butter Salt Foam - and wow this was amazing. Suppose to originally be made with hojicha but they told me they got a bad batch of hojicha and said the matcha verison would be a good alternative. I can't even imagine how much I would have loved the hojicha version (hojicha is one of my favorites). Really made my morning when I got this! Sopapilla Latte - honey, vanilla, cinnamon - my 2nd latte I ended up getting when I was in the area again ha. Was great I don't think my research for some of the best coffee in town was wrong coming here. Interior was much larger then I thought. From outside it seems like a small shop in Mckinney. Only street parking available and definitely didn't help with whatever event was in town when I came with half the streets shut down with detours but you will still be able to find parking somewhere near I enjoyed this place quite a bit and would definitely come back! read more

This place is located super close to the farmers market so a good place to stop afterwards. The interior is pretty big with a lot of seating for working and thought the prices were pretty good about $5 for each specialty latte. We tried the sopapilla and a plain iced latte. I thought the drink was pretty smooth and the servers mentioned the drinks aren't too sweet and made the sopapilla half sweet since we are sensitive to sweetness. I think the default is already not too sweet so I would get that next time! read more

The best selection of coffee I have had in Texas (mainly DFW area). The service was amazing. The baristas had a lot of knowledge about not just the shop's products but about coffee and the beans. I was introduced to a lot of new coffee and had a lot of questions. The barista was very patient and educated me in the origin of the coffee beans and the customs in how they are prepped and consumed. I really enjoyed the staff and the coffee. read more

We really wanted to love this spot, but the coffee just didn't hit the mark for us. The drinks we tried didn't taste much like coffee--more like dessert. Our blueberry coffee tasted about 99% blueberry and 1% milk, and we actually left still craving that true coffee flavor (and a bit more caffeine). On the bright side, the service was great and everyone we interacted with was polite and welcoming. They were out of several menu items as we ordered, which was a little disappointing, but we did try a kolache and that was actually pretty good. The space itself is beautiful and it's got a cool vibe to hang out in. But with the coffee missing the mark for us, we probably won't be back. read more

One of the better coffee places I've been to! VIBES The vibes are really nice! They have plenty of seating from smaller tables to long tables, counter, outdoor and lounge seating. This is a perfect place to get some work done, catch up with friends, and hangout! SERVICE Service was phenomenal! I came in and was behind a father and his two kids and the person taking orders was very sweet and personable with the little boy. Was a very cute moment. I asked for recommendations and wanted something a little bit on the less sweet side, so she recommended the Earl Grey lavender latte and made it a less sweet which was perfect! Great location Lots of seating out front and inside It's very spacious when you walk in. And the staff greets you as you enter. It's spacious inside with a few seating areas, including bar top seats by the coffee-making area and a table for more than four further in the corner. I wasn't sure what to get, so I got a Filtered latte with something to eat. They have a steady pace, a few people working on computers, but overall, it's very cozy. The filtered latte was so good I got another one to go on my way out; the prices are reasonable. It's a bit of a drive but in a busy area. I got the coffee cake warmed up. The place as a study spot is nice, it's clean and there's a decent amount of seating with outlets. The wifi's pretty slow tho. My drink was also pretty bad. I got a regular matcha latte and it was literally just a cup of milk. Like if I closed my eyes and tasted it, I wouldn't have known there was matcha in it. I love the vibe it's cozy and good to study, meet friends, for a sat / sun morning, etc. Really enjoyed to order but expect a wait on the weekends or busy times because it's packed! There's plenty of seating but depending on how busy it is it can be a little bit of a wait. There's parking near by at a shared parking lot so it's not too difficult to park and walk to. I just so happened to stop into this coffee shop today far from where I'm staying and I must say, it was such a beautiful surprise. The owner greeted me with genuine warmth and top-tier customer service. He even welcomed me with a $10 gift card and a cute sticker, which immediately made me feel at home. You don't see that kind of kindness often. I ordered the pumpkin latte and a croissant, and both were exceptional rich, fresh, and full of flavor. But honestly, it was the experience as a whole that stood out. You can tell the owner truly cares, he mentioned he opened the shop just a year ago, and you can feel the passion in every detail. As an old regular of Filtered, I love the beautiful renovations the new owner has made, and the coffee is great. LOVE the Earl Grey latte! I also love that gluten free options are still available. However, that being said, I miss the warm, open community that this place used to invite. I hope that some local art, open mics, poetry nights and local meetups will be returning, as great friends were made here with local artists, musicians, and locals. My son and I used to play games in the back space, and I don't see any of that available anymore. McKinney is in desperate need of an artistic meetup space and outlet. I'll be returning for coffee but I'm hoping there will be additional reasons to go here more often. read more

I stopped for coffee in McKinney before a road trip & I came across this place. I got a Harvest Berry Cold Brew Mocha and it was divine, 10/10. It tasted like the drink version of Ghirardelli's dark chocolate with raspberry filling. I can't speak on the ambience as I took my drink to go, but the customer service was good.
