I really wanted to like Beans & Bubbles because the shop itself looks amazing. We came specifically to try the matcha since we're both big matcha fans, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we walked in, we weren't greeted at all. We stood there looking at the menu, clearly unsure of what to order, and no one offered any recommendations or even asked if we had any questions. As first-time customers, that would have gone a long way. When ordering, I asked for less ice and substituted coconut milk. I understand there can be extra charges, and I have no problem paying them, but it would have been nice if someone mentioned the surcharges before ringing us up instead of me noticing after the fact. As for the drinks, they were the biggest letdown. I ordered a matcha with strawberry cold foam, and it tasted like overly sweet strawberry milk. The matcha flavor was almost nonexistent. My wife ordered a matcha with coconut milk, and it tasted watered down with very little matcha flavor. I genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses, and I came in excited because of all the positive things I'd heard and because the café itself has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service and drinks just didn't live up to the presentation. Hopefully this was an off day, but based on our experience, we wouldn't return.

I have only been once, but do recommend. I had a hot chocolate and almond croissant and both were on point. Excited to try the ice cream and other options in the future. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Nice decor and clean. Will def be back.

Second time and last time here. First time around they only had a few flavors and were out of everything else. Understandable as they were fairly new at the time. Second time around they have stuff in stock but all ice cream was melted and runny and the frozen yogurt came out as flavored water. Yuck. Service was fine no complaints but doubtful this place will stay open long.

They were open on this bright sunny morning. It is a modern small coffee shop, capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The shop is one mile east of US-75 on the north side of W. White Street. Skip Buc-ee's coffee in Melissa and support this local business.

The light wood floors, soft colors, hanging plants, and curated furniture make it feel like a cross between a boutique café and a really pretty living room. The staff has always been kind and friendly the first time I had a lot of questions and the gentleman working was patient and helpful! Very appreciative! There's art for sale throughout the space, a little bookshelf you can borrow from, and even a private room you can reserve for meetings. Their bathrooms are honestly beautiful too (yes, I notice these things ). You can tell so much love and detail went into creating this environment. My drink recs: * Honey Cinnamon Latte (warm, comforting, perfectly sweet) * Blueberry Chai Latte (so unique + SO good) * Caramel Macchiato w/ an extra shot (sweet, strong, and absolutely amazing -- the perfect balance ) All are 10/10 and worth coming back for alone. The food menu is also great quality, fresh, and just as thoughtful as the drinks. I waited about 2 minutes, then pulled up in line, another vehicle was at the window. Wife was worried that they would "do something" to the order, so instead of waiting to speak to someone, I left. I attempted to call the phone number for the location, however there was no answer and I received a prompt to leave a message, I did not leave a message. When I arrived, she asked "what can I get started for you." My answer was, "I would like 2 medium Caramelicious blenders with whipped topping." Her reply was, "you said sugar free mocha?" My reply was, "no, that's not what I said, were you even listening?" Her next reply was rude and disrespectful, "Excuse you?" This did not sit well with me, it made me upset. I don't believe that I said anything wrong by asking if she was listening. Literally her role at that point was to listen to the order, which she apparently didn't. After the "excuse you" remark, she stated, "Well I heard mocha." I then repeated the order slowly and deliberately "2 medium carmelicious blenders with whipped topping" pausing briefly between each word to be sure that what I stated was clear. She then said that I didn't have to be rude. Not that I need to say it, but I will not return to that location, even though it is the closest location to my home. I will definitely not be purchasing anything for myself from any Scooters location ever again, you have lost my trust.

I've just ordered and they tell me it's another 25-30 minute wait. I'll be back with a review of the food and more details then. I'm back after a total wait of one hour! Let me say,it was worth the wait. If they are still open when you read this,it's worth the trip. I've had this place book marked several years. Opened in 1951, it's the quintessential small town burger stand. I just forgot about it until the other day when I read they're closing. Don't cry,it's because of real estate values. It's no longer economically feasible to make small profits working hard no matter how good the burgers are. The burgers are really good. This place is slammed. I saw two large door dash orders go out and a lot of people that must have ordered online Coming and going. Finally my name was called and I took my piping hot brown paper sack to the hood of my truck. Looking into the sack, loose fry, pull it out, bite it, perfect. Unwrap burger, looks fantastic, bitting into it.... satisfaction! I'm a sucker for small towns but Anna is no more. In only five years the influx of migrants from other states have fueled exponential growth. It's happening everywhere and places like Spurlocks are the victims. It's our loss too,as these quaint old places harbor a lot of history. The kind that built America. Usually the Yelp community competes to be the first to Review a new business. I find it satisfying in this case and honored that I may be the last to Review... The Malt Shop

And we were not wrong... We tried the cookies and cream malt, fried Oreos, as shown in the picture, and of course we had to get some fries. All came out piping hot, except for the malts, of course. My kid said it was one of the best malts they have ever had, which is a strong statement because they are ice cream connoisseur lol. Their fries were crinkle cut which just added to the old school feel the fried Oreos were cooked to perfection and exactly what I wanted There is a cute little indoor seating area next to the kitchen, but we didn't take advantage of it because we got our food to go. However, we will definitely be back now that we are locals.
