The shop is clean, welcoming and has a nice vibe with art on the walls and a few games on the tables if you want to hang out. The staff was friendly and I liked that you can order at a kiosk or with the cashier. I tried the taro latte and loved it! I already like taro, but this was my first time having it in a drink and it did not disappoint. We also got the brown sugar oat milk iced espresso, which was really good too. Walked in an was immediately greeted into this cute little spot. They have a kiosk so you can order but as always, I have questions so I went to the counter. The gentleman was in the process of baking something (cookies?) and told me he would be right with me. After some back and forth I went with the passion fruit tea with lychee popping boba. I looked around and noticed that they have games that you can play while sitting and enjoying your items. It wasn't long and I was called to come get my drink. Now this is where it's my fault, in the excitement, I didn't taste my drink until after I left the establishment and this needed sugar of some sort. I thought I asked if it was sweet and he said yes but I didn't think it had a lick of sugar in my cup. Also if you like honey or want to try different flavors of honey, they sell honey and honey sticks (I could have used this). Will I go back? Definitely as price point is great and the potential for finding something I really like it there. Also don't forget to ask for your punch card to earn a free drink! read more

I was the only customer when I came so service was super quick! The store is cute and open. The staff was nice and greeted me immediately. Their menu isn't too expansive but has enough options. I ordered the taro tea and tiger brown sugar milk tea and both were delicious. I would say anything spectacular but they were good and the boba was soft. It's nice to have a boba shop right as your entering McKinney now... instead of driving in parts of town that have high traffic. Newest little boba shop in McKinney. The owners are very friendly. They have a kiosk ordering option or going to the counter. They have a nice selection in menu drink items as well as food and ice cream. They also have a stand that has local honey for sale. Everything came out super quickly my kids loved the ice cream, and my Thai tea was good. I'm interested to try the fruit teas next time as well as some food. Decor wise needs a tad of work. You can tell they just opened and are still working on things. I love that they are displaying a local artists artwork inside the shop. Overall cute spot with great options. read more

I visited Honey B off a recommendation and I am so glad I did. The tiger milk tea here is perfect. Without any modifications, the drink comes out at the perfect sweetness. A lot of boba places make their specialty milk teas with a lot of extra syrup that overpowers the rest of the drink, but the tea and brown sugar comes out great together. It's clear that the staff here really knows what they are doing. The cafe is very clean and they clearly make an effort to make it seem presentable. Kitchen and dining area were spotless. The staff were super friendly and our drinks came out very very quickly. They also sell local honey, I picked up two sticks here that they sell for very cheap. This may be my go-to boba place in the area now, I am very satisfied with Honey B and will definitely be back. read more

Visited Honey B Cafe early on a weekday while doing my errands. I was greeted by a lady working behind the counter, and I ordered at the kiosk. I liked that there were food options, including dumplings, sandwiches, cookies, and ice cream, but I wasn't interested in snacking at the time. I ordered the Classic Milk Tea with half sugar and boba. As someone who hates overly sweet drinks, I almost wished I had a bit more sugar, so I'll ask for 75% sweet next time. The tea flavor was there, but I wish it was a little stronger. The boba itself didn't have much sweetness or flavor in it, but the texture was decent. Overall, not super impressed by the Classic Milk Tea, but I don't hate it! I would go back to try the other drinks. read more

I always get good and quick service. I don't always enjoy how sweet the drinks are, but that can be solved by ordering a lower sweetness option, If you tend towards finding even 75% sweetness as too sweet, definitely don't be afraid to go lower. Amazing ! I got the mango green tea with boba and it was one of the best I've ever had. Had a chocolate chip cookie along with some of the local honey options they had to offer, also delicious. Their fusion teas are delicious. Smoothies are sweet and good. Carnival fruit teas are AMAZING, they have real fruit, are something between fusion tea and smoothie. I haven't found anything like the carnival teas anywhere else. The owners themselves are the people working behind the counter. They are really sweet and good folks.
