Came here for a boba fix, and although it was good, I think the prices are a little too high. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 4/5 -Typical boba shop with few tables. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly. Typical set up where you just find what you want and order. Food/Drink - Ordered the following: - Lychee Explosion - 4/5 - Pretty much all lychee items in it (pops, jelly and fruit). Pretty good, but for $8? Steeeep. - Black Sugar Milk Tea - 4/5 - Pretty good drink as well, but again, I think $8 is a little high for the drink. Overall, I think the place is actually 3.5 stars, but I will bump it to 4. With prices high everywhere, I do find it hard to knock a place down for prices unless it is absolutely outrageous. Could I have gotten a smaller drink? Yes, but I am a big guy. Will I be back? Depends if I am in the area and craving boba. read more

There were a few people having drinks and food. I wasn't interested in the food but their fruit tea menu. I asked what the best selling drink was and ordered the number one. It was a strawberry something with pieces of strawberry and some seeds- which I love and lychee jelly. Less sugar little ice. It was absolutely fabulous. They have a great selection of drinks or make your own. The place was clean and the service fast. The man behind the counter was patient as I had many options to choose from. Located across the street from McKinney's Rock Hill High School, this little Boba/Smoothie place is a quick, convenient and delicious stop before or after a school event. I loved that you could mix and match flavors and bases. Since I'm trying to avoid dairy and processed sugars, I decided to go with a strawberry mango fruit juice based slush. It was yummy. This family owned shop is my first foray into boba and they've been so patient and caring with my picky kids and me offering samples for us to try, and giving us an idea of what the flavors are that they offer. My daughter absolutely loves the taro milk tea with mango pops and I love the brown sugar milk tea half sweet with the honey boba. I've met both the husband and wife owners, talked to both each visit, gone on random times of the day, and have never had a bad drink or bad experience. Just left our first experience with this business. We weren't able to get an order placed, because we waited nearly half an hour to attempt to place an order, and we were second in line. As we left, I calmly and quietly told the employees why we were leaving, because they hadn't so much as even greeted us, and they looked me dead in the eye and said "thanks have a nice day." So excited that a boba shop opened so close to home. I'm always so skeptical of small business boba shops but for the convenience decided to give it a try and was blown away. I tried the rock hill hawk eyes and the black sugar milk tea and both were great! I loved the basil seeds and strawberry bits along with the lychee jellies in the rock hill hawk eyes giving it a very refreshing taste. The black sugar milk tea was milky and perfectly sweetened allowing the tea flavor to still come through. Another plus.... boba is free of charge! Drinks were good but pretty overpriced, especially considering the smaller than normal amount of boba in my drink. I'm not from the area so prices may be different around McKinney/Prosper and I'm just not used to it (I normally pay $5-6 for a large drink). However, I'm giving the place 2 stars because the staff were so unfriendly. I came in and there was only one other group of people in there and thankfully no line! I look at the menu for a moment then walk up to order. The staff did not acknowledge us when we came in, I said "Hi!" to the lady at the front... she didn't respond so I just proceeded to order. The drinks were made really quick - less than 5 minutes and when I walked up to get them I said "thank you!" no response. The only time a staff member spoke to either of us is when she asked my boyfriend if he wanted boba in his drink and when she forgot to push a button that allowed us to pay so she said "oh hold on.... okay try again." I am a boba lover and have tried this place twice since they have a drive through. It is decent. The drink itself isn't bad but the boba is either overcooked or they put it in the drink too soon. Either way, you can see it being too hot and melting in the drink. Maybe if the employees get trained better than the drinks would taste better. Overall I give it a 3 star. read more

I used to love this place, but now it's horrible. Nobody here seems to know what they're doing, and they are all extremely rude. Every time i I come here I end up waiting in line for over 20 minutes for just one drink, which for some reason I have to repeat to the person taking my order multiple times before they get it right.. even then my drink still comes out wrong 90% of the time. Not only that, but on my most recent visit the employee that took my order said rude things over the drive-thru speaker. I don't know if he forgot to turn the microphone off or what, but it was disgraceful. If you truly dislike your customers and your job that much, then quit. The only friendly person I've encountered here was the little manager girl, though I haven't seen her in a while. Good only if you want classic, taro, or Thai milk teas. People working there have been nice to me, and clean inside, usually there's a bit of a wait but that's okay. They're at a great location so I've tried them multiple times and gotten different items off their menu. Unfortunately most of their drinks do not taste good. Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was very bitter (should be a very sweet milk coffee drink), fruit tea is syrupy and just not tasty.
