This specific McKinney location is why we keep coming back. The customer service is amazing. The managers really get to know their customers and you don't feel like a stranger coming in the next time. Thank you for the people working at this location. Y'all truly make this la Madeline.

This is meant to be a children's pasta Alfredo!

I do not recommend this la madeleine. Soup was practically cold. Salad was too vinegary, and the children's pasta was watery with lumps in it! The child with us refused point blank to eat. Had to ask for cutlery even to eat. I got the salad remade and they didn't even bother with croutons or Parmesan. Evidently everything is too much a burden - like work! Female bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap. Will be skipping this place in future.

Bill went above and beyond for customer service. Thanks for the beautiful display of my goodies.

We ordered their desserts specifically the Sachet chocolate cake and parfait. They taste good but are on a sweeter side. The coconut cake is yum. Both were moist on the inside. I would give it full star had they been a little less sweet

I've written before about La Madeleine's history in Dallas. I've also, pontificated on their decline that stated about ten years ago. That's why I was surprised to find a brand new La Madeleine sitting in the far northern suburbs. I'd thought since they couldn't get the operation of the established stores back on track, expansion would be out of the question. I guess I was wrong. Walking into this newer one is a very esthetically pleasing experience. The signature faux French Cafe looks, central fireplace, delectable desert display. I decided to give my go to La Madeleine order a try. The American Breakfast. Consisting of two scrambled eggs, four bacon strips and a fresh croissant. The secret here is the scrambling of the eggs, which after years of perfection has been off lately. I'm happy to report my American Breakfast while good, can be improved on by...you guessed it. Scrambling the eggs Mo Bedda! I have no doubt in this impossibly busy location they will fare well. I just hope they can handle it Go...for now

I was in this area for meeting today and saw this La madeleine. I had a really bad experience on the Belt line Addison location previously, it took me a moment before I decided to walk in to give it another try. This location is very clean. Everyone is very friendly, happy & helpful. Once I walk in, the server already greet me. Wonderful service, great place to hang out. Pastries still the same like before, delicious. Would come back this weekend to have breakfast here.

A view from my table. The pastry counter is calling our name...

We love La Madeleine and visit a few times a year to get our Tomato Basil soup and Cesar salad fix. This is our first visit to the McKinney location and we like that it seems a little brighter and airier than the other locations. Frederick was the young man that ran the register and he was the nicest! His customer service was impeccable. With Covid, the flatware and bread are now behind the counter. When my daughter asked for additional bread slices he obliged happily. Gotta have that bread to dip in the soup ya know! The employees on the service line making salad and dishing up soup were also very professional and attentive. By far the best La Madeleine we have ever visited. And as an added bonus, who doesn't love learning French while visiting the restroom. The recording of French class always makes us giggle.

I've been here a handful of times for breakfast. I always forget about this place. I love the inside decor; they have a variety to choose from. And for a chain; they're not terrible. I'm obsessed with the lemon tarts I get one every time! I have had a few of the breakfast options; and they were all good. It's a nice place to pop in and get something quick.

I was so joyfully greeted on this cloudy & rainy morning. I immediately wanted one of everything, so I asked for a moment to take in all the wonderful offerings and make my selection. I immediately knew I wanted fresh bread to take home & selected the cinnamon raisin bread loaf. They kindly sliced it for me before bagging it up. I also chose the Banana Nut Muffin with Chocolate Chips. I planned to take my goodies home, but barely made it to the car before I dig into the muffin and ended uo finishing the entire thing in the car - it was SOOO good and so filling! When I got home I dug into the bread. My favorite bread back home was the raisin hazelnut and Bresnan's cinnamon raisins is better! Full of soft raisins the bread, while I hate this word can't think of a better description, was moist. I ate another slice and then my son (picky eater) asked for a bite. He was so impressed he asked for a slice. It's been 24hrs and there are 3 slices left! I may have to go back again this week to get another loaf. There will be many more reviews of Bresenan to come as I plan to go back and try other breads as well as the baked goods and cookies. I also plan to bring a book on one of these visits. Maybe set up in the beautiful window seats or a cozy and quiet table to enjoy my fresh baked treat with a coffee and relax.

The typical bakeries in this area (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen etc) are often chains, and focus on soft breads such as donuts and cakes, with the token boring croissant, and the Asian bakeries (also chains) offer a completely different style of breads, so to finally come across a place with innovative crisp laminated pastries is a treat! Note - they do not sell breads. I visited on a Friday morning around 8am and although there were only two people ahead of me in line, they were already out of almond croissants and I took the last sausage roll on display (but the bakers were probably baking more). There was a continuous flow of people in and out. The location is definitely set up to be a to-go place and NOT somewhere you come to sit and eat. No ambiance. Knowing that there's no risk of cross-contamination that could ruin my friend's party weekend would have already been worth the expense, but omg these cupcakes were INCREDIBLE! All the girls were shocked they were "gluten free" because they're so moist and decadent and delicious! I have no idea what magical witchcraft these ladies are using to make GF bread items taste like gourmet cupcakes, but we absolutely loved them! Top tier favorites were definitely the carrot cake, strawberry, and this cupcake of the week that had apples inside (seriously so good). But honestly they were all winners, and I personally loved the lemon one a lot.
