This specific McKinney location is why we keep coming back. The customer service is amazing. The managers really get to know their customers and you don't feel like a stranger coming in the next time. Thank you for the people working at this location. Y'all truly make this la Madeline.

This is meant to be a children's pasta Alfredo!

I do not recommend this la madeleine. Soup was practically cold. Salad was too vinegary, and the children's pasta was watery with lumps in it! The child with us refused point blank to eat. Had to ask for cutlery even to eat. I got the salad remade and they didn't even bother with croutons or Parmesan. Evidently everything is too much a burden - like work! Female bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap. Will be skipping this place in future.

We ordered their desserts specifically the Sachet chocolate cake and parfait. They taste good but are on a sweeter side. The coconut cake is yum. Both were moist on the inside. I would give it full star had they been a little less sweet

I've written before about La Madeleine's history in Dallas. I've also, pontificated on their decline that stated about ten years ago. That's why I was surprised to find a brand new La Madeleine sitting in the far northern suburbs. I'd thought since they couldn't get the operation of the established stores back on track, expansion would be out of the question. I guess I was wrong. Walking into this newer one is a very esthetically pleasing experience. The signature faux French Cafe looks, central fireplace, delectable desert display. I decided to give my go to La Madeleine order a try. The American Breakfast. Consisting of two scrambled eggs, four bacon strips and a fresh croissant. The secret here is the scrambling of the eggs, which after years of perfection has been off lately. I'm happy to report my American Breakfast while good, can be improved on by...you guessed it. Scrambling the eggs Mo Bedda! I have no doubt in this impossibly busy location they will fare well. I just hope they can handle it Go...for now

I was in this area for meeting today and saw this La madeleine. I had a really bad experience on the Belt line Addison location previously, it took me a moment before I decided to walk in to give it another try. This location is very clean. Everyone is very friendly, happy & helpful. Once I walk in, the server already greet me. Wonderful service, great place to hang out. Pastries still the same like before, delicious. Would come back this weekend to have breakfast here.

The decor and overall ambiance are definitely picture-perfect and create a great setting for celebrations, girls' outings, or anyone looking for a cute, photo-worthy experience. Unfortunately, the menu selections were a bit too limited for our preferences. We decided to try a few different items, but the food didn't quite live up to the expectations set by the photos. While everything looked appealing, the flavors were underwhelming. The highlight of the visit was definitely the drinks--they were well-crafted, enjoyable, and probably the main reason I would recommend stopping by. Service was attentive. Overall, if you're looking for a beautiful tea party atmosphere, great photo opportunities, and tasty drinks, this spot may be worth checking out. However, if you're visiting primarily for the food, it may not meet the expectations created by its social media presence. For me, it was a one-time experience, and I likely wouldn't return.

This was supposed to be a special milestone for him, but your staff completely ruined an important part of the celebration. Without asking anyone at our table, they cut his birthday cake before bringing it out. My dad never got to see his own birthday cake intact, make the first cut, or enjoy that special birthday moment with our family. That memory can never be replaced, and there was absolutely no reason for your staff to make that decision without asking us first. To make matters worse, my dad ordered fish that had to be boned out before it was served. By the time it was brought back to him, it was cold. No one expects to pay for a nice birthday dinner only to receive cold food because of how it was prepared. We chose your restaurant because we expected quality service for such an important occasion. Instead, we left frustrated and extremely disappointed. A 65th birthday is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and the lack of communication and attention to detail from your staff took away from what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope you take this complaint seriously and address these issues with your staff so another family doesn't have to experience the same disappointment. I would also appreciate hearing how you plan to make this right. We brought our own cake and it was good, as seen in photo

The food has always been great and the experience was something we looked forward to. That's why we chose to celebrate an early Valentine's Day here -- to avoid the crazy rush and the preset menu. But this time? Completely different experience. We got seated right away because of our reservation, which was great. It took a few minutes for the waiter to come by -- no big deal. I ordered an Old Fashioned and honestly... the bartender needs some help. It came out full of crushed ice and tasted watered down. I sent it back, and the second one was basically the same drink with more whiskey thrown in. At that point, I just let it go. Then things just kept going downhill. After about 20 minutes, we realized we hadn't gotten any bread. We asked the waiter and he said he'd check. Another 10 minutes go by and he comes back saying, "Still no bread," and drops off the wrong appetizer -- we had only ordered a salad. He takes it back, and it's another 15 minutes before our actual salad shows up. Still no bread. At one point, we could literally see him arguing with someone in the back about why we didn't get bread yet. Not exactly something you want to watch during a date night. The food, when it finally came out, was delicious. No complaints there. But it took forever. By the time we were eating, it was about 45 minutes until closing... and we had gotten there two hours earlier. Then comes the payment situation. The waiter brings the check back and casually tells me I gave him two credit cards and he "just picked the brighter one." I look down and he had handed me someone else's credit card while mine was still sitting in the book. That's not a small mistake. Overall, it just felt unorganized and sloppy this time. I don't know if they're short staffed or just getting too busy for their own good, but it was disappointing, especially for a place we've genuinely enjoyed in the past. Hoping it was just an off night... but it definitely made us think twice about coming back.
