Love La Maison Bleue! I've been going to both their Plano at Mitsuwa (before they had to close) and Fairview at Revolving Kitchen (still open) locations for years now. I personally like their Sakura matcha and have ordered this multiple times. I'm impressed at how consistent the matcha is every time I go, and it's always the PERFECT amount of matcha to cream ratio. The staff is always friendly and the owner Anna is super nice. You guys have to go and check them out! Please enjoy my compilation of matcha pictures from their place as well as pop-ups they've participated in!

I was so happy to find out we had one near us! Their matcha is always consistent and delicious! Tip: This location is located in a food hall.

I was really looking forward to trying this place but I was really disappointed in what I got :( When I first got here I was a little confused on where exactly the shop was. I thought it was it's own store but it is a section of the food hall/sports bar. There were a few tables infront of the shop and there were people directing people on which place to go. I got the iced mixed berry matcha because that sounded good and it was a seasonal drink. The berry part was good, you can tell that there was real fruit in it but it was very overpowering. I could only taste the berry and not the matcha. After mixing the drink, the color of the matcha was really pale and just tasted like milk at that point. Prior to orderingc I asked if I could add extra matcha to my drink because most places don't have a strong enough matcha taste but I was told that it's very strong and not needed to get extra. That was not the case for me so I was really let down :( It was also almost $9 for this one drink so I won't be coming back unfortunately. I am glad I tried it but i'm okay now.

Bleu's Kitchen is an offshoot of the popular tea house, La Maison Bleue Dallas, and is located as part of the large Revolving Kitchen Food Hall in Fairview Town Center in Allen, TX. I came here by myself to eat food from a different vendor inside the same hall, but came away hungry. The food hall makes it very easy to order more and more, so ended up getting an order of geso kara-age (fried squid legs) $11 + 0.50 for spicy. The description states that it's "Great for drinking: better than calamari"...can definitely attest that dried cuttlefish is great for imbibing...so fell for the advertisement and ordered it, along with a local tap beer. It was really good, consisting of half dozen tentacle pieces, expertly fried in the same breading that japanese fried chicken comes in. Unlike other restaurants where they give you baby squid tentacles, this was thicker, more meaty and moist. Great value for the price, and the QP mayo for dipping is just great (tastes as if one takes regular Hellman's and condenses it even more). The spicy addition didn't add much and could have done without. This is the only place I've dined where they guarantee only tentacles..wish more places did that.

So good! We first tried La Maison Bleue at a matcha pop up, and I had been dreaming of their lattes ever since! We finally made a visit to them in the Mitsuwa location, and the latte was creamy and fresh - just as I had remembered. Sipping while shopping in Mitsuwa is the perfect Texas summer activity, and there are plenty of treats to look through and pair with your drink. We'll definitely be back!

A bit on the pricier side (especially the pasta since it's $15 pre-tip for a small portion), but overall good. I enjoyed the karaage sando as it was tender and seasoned well. The ghost-kitchen service was as expected and went smoothly.

I ordered a cappuccino, London Fog, the OG sausage egg and cheese (gluten free version), and a sausage taco. Everything came out well. I appreciated that the cappuccino was perfect and the London Fog was not overly sweet.

Unfortunately, I left disgusted and concerned regarding the cleanliness after witnessing an incident at the counter. I observed an employee drop the lid of a pitcher onto the floor on the customer side of the counter. A customer picked it up and handed it back to the employee, who then placed it back on the pitcher without rinsing it. I said "you do realize that just fell on the floor." She gave me THE NASTIEST look and got an uncalled attitude as she took it and slammed it on the counter. I was just completely shocked and in disbelief. The pitcher had about 2/3 of a mix in it, obviously contaminated now but, I'm sure some unfortunate customers were served it. She didn't go discard it nor did she rinse the lid. I'd love the manager/owner to look at the camera. It was between 1-1:30 pm. The situation was disappointing and concerning from a sanitation standpoint. It raises many red flags on food safety practices, especially since this occurred in full view of customers. I share this feedback so that appropriate training and corrective action can be taken to ensure customer health and safety moving forward.
