We both had done our research at home by looking at the menu, Googling some of the terms and trying to decide what we might want to order. We learned Teatte options are very similar to espresso drinks except they are made with tea. The benefits of using tea is rather than having an espresso/caffeine high and then crashing, the tea has a more gradual build in our systems. The caffeine from the tea gradually climbs and then gradually decreases, so you avoid the shaky jitters followed by a coma-like crash. How wonderful is that?! AND when double pulling the taste is smoother and has a more refined taste. We both chose the Dual Phase Pull Teatte. I chose the Maple Sea Salt Teatte and Dani chose the Vanilla Teatte. I confirmed the Maple Sea Salt was dairy free and was delighted to hear it was. The kind woman behind the counter answered our questions and was warm and friendly. We can both confirm our drinks tasted like espresso. There is a slight taste difference, but not much, and it was good. My maple seat salt was a bit too sweet so next time I would skip it and either do vanilla or plain and simply add a raw sugar. Neither of us experienced the shaky jitters, but both felt the gentle boost from the caffeine. I would DEFINITELY choose Greenova next time I am in the area. I would also 100% recommend Greenova over Starbucks or any other coffee shop in the area.

This Vietnamese coffee shop recently opened nearby, adding another choice to the list. I like Vietnamese coffee for its strong, bold flavor and especially its distinct bitterness. The condensed milk balances it nicely, though some places make it too sweet for my taste. The coffee at Truong Nguyen was sweet, but not too sweet. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add more condensed milk yourself. The barista at the counter was very friendly and polite, and the shop was clean and welcoming. It's a small place with a few tables inside and a couple more just right outside, where you can sit and enjoy your coffee if you're not in a big hurry. They also offer specialty coffees if you'd like to try something beyond traditional Vietnamese coffee. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely go back to try something else on the menu.
