This time we got the Butterscotch Cream Latte & Earl Grey Matcha. Both of them were delicious but the coffee flavor was so light we could barely taste it. They were so packed inside and all seats were full. Their customer service is not good though. Last time my drink was finished making but the worker didn't call it out cause she didn't know until the owner told them too. This time the worker at the cashier was kind of rude. When we ordered the butterscotch latte, she asked if we wanted double shot espresso and we said no, but she still charged it on the screen. We asked her why is there a charge we didn't want anything added on, she responded with "YOU SAID you wanted..." bla bla bla. As someone who worked in customer service for 5 years, that is not something you should say. There are customers that would be really offended with that and they will not take that. Also, the drink costed $5+ but the another shot of espresso would've costed $2 more. My impression these past few times here was that the workers definitely need more training with their customer service. You could easily tell this is their first job ever. I feel like these are basic customer service and mostly common sense. Other than the customer service, the food and drinks are still amazing :)

I really liked the matcha flavor and the decorations around the cafe. I think I wish there was more tables set up because the seating was always taken. I thought that the matcha flavor and the staff were super friendly and really flavorful. I did think that the cup sizes were extremely small, especially for $7.

They're also aesthetically pleasing. A bit less eggy than other fluffy souffle pancake joints that I've tried overseas. The pancakes here are fluffy and closer to the American cake consistency, but much lighter and easier to cut through versus the types you'd get in Japan. Strawberry Souffle Pancakes - The strawberries are fresh and delicious. Definitely appreciate that the whipped cream appears to be made in house and not out of a can. The premium pancake option comes with the equivalent of three strawberries and two pancakes with a reasonable dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nutella Banana Souffle Pancakes - Roughly half or two-thirds of a banana split in two and appears to have a bit of caramelized sugar on it. There's also one strawberry, a Ferrero Rocher, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce to go with two fluffy pancakes. The entree is definitely well executed and fruits are fresh. Whipped cream is excellent. Overall, this place is a great place to enjoy some fluffy souffle pancakes. There's limited seating and wait times on the pancakes are anywhere between 15-20 minutes, which we appreciate because they do make them to order. The price of $13.99 for two pancakes off the premium menu felt a bit steep for the product. Experience at much better establishments, like Happy Pancake, in Shibuya or Ginza offer three pancakes with a greater quantity of whipped cream and fruits at roughly $8.25 with no expectations on tips. I understand we're in the states and this may not be a fair comparison, but the variance in both quantity and price is steep. Other than that, the product is good and worth a try.
