This spot is in a strip mall so it wasn't bad finding a parking spot. We ran over here for lunch on a weekday and were seated quickly. It's very clean and simple but cute inside. I had the eggs Benedict and home fries and it was great! Hats off to the kitchen- it was quick as well as tasty. The potatoes were even good- and lately everywhere I go people are afraid of seasoning the food so I just have bland potatoes that I have to season with the table offerings instead of being cooked in. So this was a welcome change! Our waitress was very sweet and got everything right but I will say we had to look around for her several times- we were on our work lunch hour not just a casual lunch where we could take our time so that's on us but seems like two bites/two minutes is out the window and the new service industry standard is just to leave you alone for 15 minutes once you get your food and I'm not sure how we can change that. read more

I recently tried Keke's Breakfast Cafe for the first time and placed a to-go breakfast order. Overall, I would rate my experience about 6/10. I ordered the create-your-own omelet, which came with home fries and bread. The bread was actually very delicious, and the home fries were cooked well with a nice texture. The portion size was also generous, which I appreciated. My main critique is the salt level. The omelet and potatoes were both quite salty, which unfortunately overpowered the other flavors in the dish. I'm not sure if it was the seasoning blend or just heavy salt, but it made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. That said, this was my first time trying Keke's, and I appreciate the convenience and solid portion size. With a lighter hand on the salt, the food could easily be much better. The host stand was staffed by two employees. The hostess who showed me to my table ended being my waitress. Observing other diners being seated, that was not always the case. The tables were setup with only salt and pepper shakers. When I ordered my coffee, I also requested coffee creamer. Although the waitress brought unflavored and flavored creamer, she only provided sugar packets. I had to specifically ask for Splenda. As it took awhile for her to return with it, the Splenda must have been in the stockroom. Their cups held less coffee compared to other restaurants. I finished the first cup unexpectedly quick. Although I drank three cups in entirety, I felt as if I drank only two. I ordered the Stuffed French Toast with Nutella. Other than the cocktails on the lunch side of the menu, that was the only highlighted item. Not knowing if it would be enough, I opted for the combo and ordered two eggs and bacon. The stuffed french toast was presented as sandwiches cut into triangles. I was tempted to eat them like sandwiches, but the french toast was too dry to eat without syrup. Each triangle had two significant banana slices and plenty of Nutella. Finally, the powdered sugar was not too much to be messy. Breakfast for Lunch: Opportunity to try this chain locally and it did not disappoint. Coffee and waters were our drinks but they do offer an array of other beverages. The pancakes are plate sized so you only need one (unless you are a wrestler or 13-year old boy - IYKYK). I liked that when our seater can to the front to seat us - but was on a landline speaking to a customer - they apologized and welcomed us in. Our server was friendly and pretty much on it. Very clean and new breakfast place with some great qualities! This is one of the only breakfast places in the area that has an appropriate amount of seating. Seriously, I haven't waited yet, and there are a ton of tables. With that, the high walls still add a bit intimacy. The coffee is outstanding. There is nothing worse than bad coffee with breakfast. I've only had the egg sandwich, on sourdough (which is on point) but it was exactly what I wanted. This will be our regular breakfast diner. read more

There's a few nice breakfast/brunch places in my area. But I'm glad to see one just a few minutes away from my house. I ordered as usual my favorite breakfast item, eggs Benedict. We also got a cheese steak panini and a chicken salad. The eggs Benedict tasted good. The eggs were poached just right, which is the crucial part of this dish. The panini was great. The steak was grilled nicely, tender and cheesy. The chicken salad was just fine. The interior is open and inviting. I like the bright decor and the big "Plano morning" mural. I finally got to try this place. I wasn't impressed with the food. The French toast was mid didn't taste good. The eggs weren't good didn't like the way they were cooked, the bacon was bacon. I would've liked my syrup hot. The ambiance of the place was nice! The waitress was training so I was patient she will be good once she's fully confident in herself. Came here on a week day morning and was immediately seated. I ordered decaf coffee, and since I was the first time to order decaf it took a while, which is understandable. However, when the coffee came out it smelled and tasted strongly of chemicals, almost like it was just a cup of dish detergent. Tried this cafe after seeing it on a local instragram eating influencer in Dallas. Plus, I was not far. I really expected a cafe. What I walked into was a light amd welcoming breakfast restaurant. My waitress was great! I ordered eggs benedict, pancakes and a seasonal coffee. All delish! The sauce on the eggs benedict had the typical taste but lighter and a nice buttery richness. Oh the pancakes were light and tastes like something my friend would make. I could swear that it had some cornmeal in it but I could be wrong. It didnt have the rubbery feel that a lot of places have but a nice bite and a weekend breakfast taste. I want to go back and just get pancakes, which have several options for toppings! The pricing issues others have mentioned are because if you order ANYTHING that isn't listed and priced specifically you will be charged extra. None of the combos have meat so you'll pay $5.79 for bacon or sausage. An omelette with bacon is going to run you over $20 plus $4 for a drink. Our server was not a native English speaker and didn't understand most of our questions, nor how things were made. He was pleasant enough but had to check on everything. He brought out food one plate at a time. My waffle was cold so the butter didn't melt and the glazed blueberries were cold out of the walk-in, not hot like every other pancake restaurant. The silver dollar pancakes were tasty. The scrambled eggs weren't scrambled-they just tossed them in a pan till dry. The bacon was greasy. Great Brunch place with huge mouthful platters and lovely people. I went with my husband and baby on the labor day weekend. We had Keke's breakfast combo that came with 2 pancakes (toooo large and toooo good), 2 eggs your way (I requested for an omelet and they were so accommodating) plus turkey sausage. My husband got the chicken paining, that came with chips on the side. Everything was very tasty, fresh and delivery the original taste by not overloading it with extra sauces. I really want to thank them for their great service- the people were so kind, so generous. I even saw the manager (I assume) exchanging smiles and laughters with the servers which reflects their big character. We love Keke's. When we're on this end of town we try to stop and have breakfast, brunch or lunch!!! Today my husband had different things to do in the morning but a meeting to go to together so I suggested Keke's. My husband had the kid's grilled cheese and I had the panini grilled cheese with provolone and cheddar cheese and bacon - oh, so good. Both were served with chips. The food was very good and plentiful. The flavors, exploded on my tongue. I was joined by my granddaughters I really enjoyed the ability for us to have conversation without being rushed by our wait person. She was also delightful. The food took forever to come out, and when it finally arrived, it was nothing like we expected. My friends paid for fries and hash browns but were served oily potato slices instead. They also asked for an extra egg on their toast, but it was forgotten, and the cheese on the toast was completely cold. The service was also disappointing. The server was very blunt and rude and seemed uninterested in helping us. Since some of us are vegetarians, we asked whether the potatoes contained any meat products, but she simply said "no" without giving any further explanation. Whenever someone needed a little extra time to decide what they wanted, she would stand there staring at them instead of giving them a moment to look over the menu. Additionally, when I ordered a combo, the server asked if I wanted chocolate chips added to my pancake. She never mentioned there would be an extra charge, so I said yes. Later, I found out I had been charged an additional $4 just for a small amount of chocolate chips. To make matters worse, my pancakes were undercooked as well. I've been to several Keke's locations and never had an issue ordering the pancake and omelette combo -- in fact, it was first recommended to me by a Keke's server years ago and has been my go-to ever since. At this location, the server said I couldn't order it or wasn't sure how. That combo is the whole reason I enjoy coming here, so not being able to get it really took away from the experience. We were seated right away but it took a while for a waiter to come by - even though the place was empty. I ordered a Carolina Chicken Salad w/grilled chicken - which sounded great on the menu. It took quite a while for our order to be served. My salad was surprisingly small for $15 and quite underwhelming..... the chicken was severely overdone and chopped into small pieces which looked exactly the same as the bacon pieces. The lettuce was minimal and I can't remember having any tomatoes in it. My friend ordered a sandwich and it seemed to be ok. Went here for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was cute and had a nice brunch vibe. Not very busy but it took a while to be seated and even longer for a server to come over. We ordered a coffee and orange juice with a glass of water. It took a while to get our drinks and they forgot the water. When our food arrived we had to ask again for water as our server never checked on us. We had the stuffed French toast which was quite dry and needed a good deal of syrup. We also had eggs Benedict which looked delicious when it arrived but unfortunately the egg was essentially hard boiled, ruining the whole point of the dish. When we brought this up to our server she just kind of shrugged and said "okay". The bill was dropped off without even asking us if we would like anything else or if we enjoyed our food. With so many options for places for brunch in the area, I was excited to have one so close to home. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we will not be returning here. read more

Went when it first opened. Coffee was hot and the food was fresh. Everything we had was good. Can't wait to try more items.

I had breakfast there this morning with my granddaughter. We ordered 2 at table meals and two orders two go. I asked for syrup and none was given. I asked for cheese in my eggs in the order to go and none was put in. I was over charged for my meals.... So on my way out l asked to see the menus to confirm the price. When l pointed it out to my waitress she said she knew it and was told by the manager that cost of food had gone up, so the price was what she charged me. I told her that was false advertising and they need to write the new prices on the menu.... No apologies, no refund to the advertised prices... SOoooo Before You Order; Confirm The Price.... they won't honor the menu prices! Food was good... but how do you know what you will be charged??? read more
