This is a gem! The service was great, every waiter that came to either drop off food or refill the water was kind and our main server gave great recommendations on wine and food pairings. It was very busy on a Friday night so make a reservation online. The pizza was light and fresh, just like in Italy.
Ok please listen up! This place is great. Blindly chose this amazing restaurant for a work dinner and they did not disappoint. From the Mr. T appetizer and crispy bruschetta to the Calabrian chili pizzas and pesto fusilli, the flavors were unbelievable. The servers were attentive and very nice, always making sure our glasses were full. The decor did not fade in the background either. The teals and golds felt like I was in Ancient Rome. Check out this place for your next work event, date night, or a family dinner. Ciao, Bella!
Updated review: A great spot for either a date night or a family dinner. The restaurant has a more upscale feel without being stuffy, with a warm ambiance, attentive service, and plenty of nearby parking, which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere struck a nice balance between casual and special occasion dining. My only complaint is the kids' menu. They offer kid-sized pasta options but surprisingly no kid-sized pizza at a pizza restaurant. It would be nice to have a smaller pizza option for little ones. Otherwise, a wonderful experience and definitely a place I'd return to.

This is a solid spot for delicious Italian food, plus the ambiance is lovely for a date night! My fiance and I came by for dinner on a Friday night a while back; we had no reservation but they were able to accommodate us outdoors which was fine with us. It definitely does get busy during peak hours so would recommend making a reservation especially for larger parties! We started out with the burrata e cavoletti which came with house bread, crispy brussels sprouts, burrata, a balsamic reduction, and pesto. This was absolutely delicious! I loved how all of the flavors and textures came together perfectly, plus the bread was fantastic even on its own. For mains, we shared the ragu napoletana and salsiccia pizza both of which were great. I will say that the pizza here is Neapolitan style so the crust is soft and pillowy (less crispy). Finally, for dessert we tried the pistachio torta which was light and the perfect way to end our meal!
This place is great! We've heard about them being on the top 50 pizzeria list and finally decided to give them a try. Went on a Saturday around noon and were quickly seated with no wait. The server quickly gave us waters. This might sound stupid, but they have really good water here. Ice cold and filtered. This gave me high hopes if this is what they are making the pizzas with. We ordered the vesuvio stuffed pizza. It came out right when it left the oven and so had the signature puff from the steam. Our server asked if we wanted her to cut it but I wanted that experience for myself. It was so delicious. The ricotta was very light and it was more about the crust and the meats. Super good. Next time I'll try the fried pizza that they won the pizza Olympics with. I heard you can get that fried dough with any pizza you like except the one we ordered on this visit.
This restaurant was so good. We also ordered the meatballs and bread which was not pictured. Because we ate it so quickly. Their bread is homemade and absolutely delicious. The surface was amazing. Great recommendations. I was just here visiting on a work trip that I would definitely make an effort to come back if I weren't in town. The waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu gave really good recommendations. Asked us what we liked, and then provided the recommendations based off that which I really liked. There's not a lot of seating in there, but there's enough to make it a cozy restaurant!
We booked a table on a Saturday evening... it was very busy, and we sat outside on the patio. My wife had an espresso type cocktail, called Nu Cafe, which she enjoyed. We started with the panzanella salad, which was very good - nice mix of greens, butternut squash, goat cheese, incredible bread/croutons, and a lemon honey dressing. We ordered two pizzas : a margherita with fresh buffalo mozzarella (upcharge) and their Gladiator pizza, loaded with onions, peppers, Calabrian chilies, and pancetta. The pizzas were good... we prefer a touch more crisp on the crust. It was doughy but still had nice char... but the bottom had some sogginess, which happens with certain ingredients. Unfortunately it was dark on the patio area... perhaps some string lights above or table lanterns might be nice. Service was very good, and there was a nice duo playing some live music under the covered outside seating area. The bathrooms were very clean and had nice tile! The inside looks great and there is also bar seating and a tv. I would like to return and try some of their pasta dishes.

We tried the bruschetta appetizer. It came with 3 slices of bread cut in half, so 6 pieces total. The bruschetta had excellent flavor. We split the Salsiccia pizza and the Ragù Napoletano. We also tried the tiramisu for dessert. Everything was so flavorful and the portion sizes match the prices. We had enough food to share between the 3 of us. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.
This place was awesome. Loved everything we had! Started with the burrata and meatballs - sauce was fabulous on the meatballs and the Brussels / burrata combination was killer. For dinner we split a handful of things. The pesto pasta was a sneaky winner... so rich, creamy and truly a treat. We wanted a plain cheese pizza but this seemed like an impossible task for some reason ha. Had to ask for extra mozzarella and extra cheese twice which seemed odd being an Italian spot but other than that everything else was good. Service was okay, server seemed annoyed with us on the cheese pizza ask but food came out pretty quick!
Looking for a decent Carbonara in Dallas and stop by Partenope Ristorante. They are using exactly five ingredients alone as spaghetti, Guanciale, Egg Yolks, Pecorino Romano & Fresh Black Pepper. I gave it a 4.5 compare to Rome's Carbonara!
I saw this place on a ranked pizza list and decided to try it out. The interior gives a good vibe for families and group gatherings. We started off with the burrata e cavoletti which came with a creamy burrata, pesto, and bread to dip alongside crispy roasted brussel sprouts tossed in a sweet balsamic glaze. I really like the glaze and asked for a small dipping cup of it. For the first pizza we ordered the calabrese which was slightly spicy and came with ricotta and hot honey. Our second pizza was the napoli which came with prosciutto and Italian sausage. The napoli definitely could have been more flavorful and was a bit bland. But the calabrese was very good with extra hot honey sauce. The crust of the pizza is definitely one of the best I've tried considering I don't really love pizza. Only thing I wish they would change is the size of the slices, they cut it up into fourths instead of the typical eighths which made it hard to eat. For desert we got the dolce calzone which was a sweet calzone with apple and mascarpone filling topped with fresh caramel sauce. The desert was delicious but the portion size was enormous. Would only recommend getting this desert if you are in a large group!!!
The perfect date night spot. The pizza was the best/closest thing to the pizza I had in Rome, Italy. Waiter was informative and friendly. The Montanara pizza is an award winner, but for me it's just missing something. Probably because I prefer protein in my pizzas. I'm sure they'd let you add protein to it though!
A place that has won many awards for their food, I stopped by their Richardson location to check it out since it was right down the street from me and I was craving some pizza. I don't normally crave pizza, but when I do, I want quality and this place nailed it! I enjoyed everything I ordered, but especially that pesto pasta!! I inhaled that and left no sauce behind. Not even kidding. The inside felt very homey and cute, and the staff was attentive and so nice! If you're ever in the area, go check them out! They also have another location in Dallas too. read more
This restaurant faces the street with some parking in rear. On a Wednesday night all parking was taken so se ended up parking a few blocks behind it, in front of some other restaurants. We arrived on time for our reservation and our table was waiting. One of my favorite cocktails is a Godfather but usually when I order it the server and/or bartender says "what is that?" Imagine my surprise when I saw this on the menu. So you can guess what I had to drink The Frittelle (zucchini fritters) were a great appetizer. I had the calzone, it was a good size and cooked well done (my preference). My husband had the Montanara pizza which they are known for. It has a flash-fried dough. He absolutely loved it. We were a party of 7 and needed the check divided but the waiter could not do it. I think we should have told him before we ordered (maybe). Should be accommodated. read more

Honestly some of the best Italian food I've had in a very long time. Came on a Saturday for a late lunch and there were only a few tables, which became very surprising to me after my meal. My friend and I started with the calamari and shrimp to start Everything was very fresh and not overly seasoned. I appreciated that everything was lightly battered. We also got a pizza and pasta to share. Both were very delicious but I was so surprised by how much I enjoyed the pasta! It was super flavorful. I like that such great food is right in the Richardson area. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

Was so excited to try patenope and the pizza was unique compared to other pizza in Dallas. I really liked spicy pizza. I think the prices are a little steep for the pizza and drinks. $16 martini but overall I would come back. read more

"Partenope Ristorante in Richardson blew me away--such an authentic vibe and killer food. We kicked things off with the fried calamari and shrimp (fritto misto), and it was amazing: super fresh, piping hot, perfectly light batter, and not overly seasoned. Total winner to start. The pasta was straight 10/10--al dente with that great bite and rich flavors that make you feel like you're in Italy. The pizza? Uff, just perfect--soft, bubbly crust with awesome char and toppings. Only tiny thing: maybe a little more crisp on the bottom would take it to next level, but still one of the best Neapolitan pies around DFW. We also tried the panini (so good, hearty and flavorful) and dessert--wow, what a way to finish. Everything felt high-quality and thoughtful. Service was friendly, spot was cozy with that nice patio option. If you're in Richardson craving real Italian without the downtown trek, this is it. Finally managed to come here for dinner! I've been wanting to come here for a long time but wasn't able to till tonight. The restaurant is really cute and romantic. Their huge oven was really beautiful and I admire a nice oven meant for pizzas! So first off, let me just get a slightly annoying thing out of the way: hostess was okay but didn't like that she tried to sit us by the door/ heavy traffic. She offered the one next to it but we tried to ask for somewhere not by traffic and her response was "I just sat that server". Kinda felt like she pressured us to sit near traffic. For the food, I like the frito misto (calamari) it wasn't rubbery and the breading was light and airy. It was a little bland though but maybe I'm used to salty food. Added some black pepper and it was good. Carbonara was creamy (slightly watery) but still tasty. I love the texture of their pasta! Has a good bite to it. We ordered the pizza of the month and was surprised! Honestly I'm not a pizza connoisseur but was educated that Neapolitan style pizza was more soft, fluffy and chewy. So if you were wanting a crispy crust, this is different! I do like the flavors and would definitely come back. I was just surprised and wasn't ready for a fluffy type pizza. Now that I know, I'll be coming back when I'm in the mood for Neapolitan pizza. They have a nice selection of wines and I got their non alcoholic mule. It tastes fantastic! I would order it again- tastes of lavender, pineapple and ginger! So good! Definitely a good place to have dinner! read more

Food was great, to-go service was awful. I have eaten at Partenope quite a few times going in. Today 7/11, was my first to-go order and likely my last. Their online system would not let me order. After trying 2x online, called and tried to order over the phone. Jimmy suggested I place the order again and that they don't take cards over the phone. @4:15 I tried to enter my order online for the 3rd time and it failed again. I called back @ 4:27 and Jimmy answered again. I placed my order and he let me know it would 15-20 mins but I let him know it would be 25 mins. I arrived at the agreed 4:50 and my order was not ready until 5:27. It is my understanding that Jimmy is the manager and if he cannot give an accurate time for pick-up, this is not the restaurant for me. read more

Needing some good food, then stop by Partenope. The pizza is incredible, it is a great spot to bring a group or just a one on one date. The staff is very friendly. Drinks are also very good, with a solid wine list to pair with whichever Italian dish you get. I was in town for work and I am stoked to stumble into this spot as the food just hit the spot. read more
Tried Partenope in Dallas! pizza was excellent! Super crispy and full of flavor. The carbonara, though, wasn't my favorite. It had a funky cheese taste and just didn't feel very exciting. Stick with the pizza and you'll be happy. Really wonderful service. The young man that took wonderful care of us was very attentive, suggested great items and had wonderful feedback on all the menu items. We ordered the dessert with chocolate and pistachios, Good choice. Nice and decadent. Nice place to try! read more
Came here for our anniversary and was so glad we did! The interior has gems from Italy, everything is made in house and delicious! We had the calamari appetizer, burrata cheese with brussel sprout, pizza, and ended it with pistachio cake! They have an award for top pizza places in America!! The menu offers many different items and choices, staff is so friendly helpful. We are definitely coming back to try other dishes and pizza flavors. I enjoyed the fluffy Neapolitan style pizzas, pastas were delicious and it's a good spot for dates. I got the carbonara and pesto pastas. Preferred the pesto pasta more. Plenty of parking and good service. read more
The food was fabulous. Everything was well prepared and plated beautifully. The crispy Brussels were a welcomed surprise on burrata antipasto plate; they were so good! Bonus...The calabrese pizza made excellent leftovers. The restaurant is small, intimate and warm. I imagine it gets busy on the weekend so I would suggest calling ahead when you can. This did not seem like a place you could sit and enjoy a long meal. Our waitress was knowledgeable but pushy. She asked for our order multiple times but we were spending more time visiting than looking at the menu so we took longer than she expected to order. The food comes out incredibly fast but was cooked to perfection. read more

So many restaurants have such a high noise level nowadays. How is the noise level at Partenope in Richardson? We are planning to take another couple with us and his hearing is impaired.
My dad has difficulty with his hearing. If he goes at the dinner hour when it's crowded he has a hard time hearing.
Do they have a lunch menu?
No, I think they only have one menu for both lunch and dinner.
