The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. My first time tk eat at Postinos and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Johnny waited on us and was the most helpful person ever. He suggested deserts and drinks that paired well together and his suggestion were spot on! I loved the Green Garden Chicken Salad and will definitely order it again. The hot donut dots were delicious! But the fudge brownie sundae was the winner of the evening! I don't like coffee but became addicted to this desert quickly. Went there once a while back and was very impressed by their bruschetta and soup! Got a chance to go back again thanks to the Yelp elite event and brought along some friends! We were just as impressed by the bruschetta board, except the boquerones - we are expecting anchovies but we don't taste anchovies. I was slightly disappointed by the brunch item I got. Portion was... small for what I paid for. However, I do enjoy the hashbrown balls but with the price I paid for housemade hashbrown + eggs... I am not sure if it's worth it. I went to this restaurant to have lunch with a friend, I got to the restaurant first so I sat down by myself, and had to wait almost 10 minutes for the server to come to the table. I was a bit annoyed by this since the restaurant was empty, only 2 tables were taken. Aside from that, the restaurant looked clean and nice. I ordered a tequila cocktail, it was refreshing. My friend and I ordered the P.R.E.A.M. Bowl and both came with hard boiled eggs, not soft boiled eggs. This blew my mind since I've never had that problem at any restaurant I've ordered a dish that had soft boiled eggs. I asked the server to please give me an egg that was cooked correctly. Henry checked on us often, was super patient, and just genuinely kind. Bernie kept our water full and was always nearby making sure we were good without hovering. They made the whole night feel easy and fun. The food was just as good. We started with the mushroom fondue, creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The bread was perfect, crispy and thin but still sturdy enough to scoop everything up without falling apart. We also split one of the toast boards and loved it. Great mix of flavors and just a really fun thing to share. They're also known for some really good favorites like the burrata toast, steak frites, truffle fries, and their charcuterie boards. Updating my review because I have been back multiple times since they first opened, and Postino has really upped their game! Service is wonderful - everyone is so kind and helpful. You don't need to wait long for your food or drinks once you order. The interior is so hip and cool, and the patio is also fun when the weather is nice. They have heaters for the cooler days as well. They have this Fiore Moscato, and it is one of the best wines I've ever had. If you like any of their wines, they are $50-58 for the bottle in-house, and $20 to-go, so something to keep in mind. I love their mushroom fondue and burrata appetizers, and I love how the burrata is seasonal. The bruschetta board is also so great to share - I especially love the mushroom mascarpone, tomato/basil/mozz, and artichoke. I do with they had more rotating flavors for that, apart from the chef's choice. I like their donut dessert that comes with multiple dipping sauces. The olive oil cake was super dry when I had it and more like a lemon cake than anything else. Overall, Postino has become one of my go-tos, and while it isn't perfect every time, it is consistently near the top of my list when I am looking in Addison. PS. I've always loved Postino. The food, the wine lineup, the atmosphere, all of it has made it one of my favorite places. I've gone often because it always felt welcoming and enjoyable, and I truly looked forward to each visit. That's why this experience was so disappointing and honestly upsetting. During my visit, Postino was promoting two specials: buy 100 dollars in gift cards and receive a 30 dollar bonus card, and half off bottles to go. I was excited to take advantage of the holiday deals because I genuinely enjoy their wines. But what I was charged didn't match the promotions that were being advertised. After checking the prices online, in person, and on DoorDash, I realized the same bottles had three different prices, and none of them matched the promotional pricing shown in the photos I attached. On top of that, I didn't receive the gift cards I purchased, and I wasn't given a receipt at checkout. When I requested an itemized receipt later, the version I received did not reflect the actual pricing or match any of their menus. It felt inaccurate and left me confused. When I contacted the restaurant, the only response I got was that I was the first person to notice any issues. After that, I never heard anything back. No follow up, no explanation, and no effort to make things right. It made the whole situation feel even more disappointing, especially because I reached out in good faith with photos and details. I've had so many good memories at Postino and truly love their food and wine selection, which is what makes this experience so discouraging. I really hope management takes this seriously, because transparency and communication matter, especially to the people who visit often and genuinely enjoy what they offer. read more

First glance inside it's dark, the ambience is more romantic, definitely for couples, or small intimate gatherings. We chose a spot at the bar. It was fairly empty here during the week - but the service was pretty awesome. Sitting at the bar, you can order anything you want from the menu. Being diabetic I had to watch some of the things I ate...staying away from the bread...but the veggies, meats and cheese all work well for me. We tried the Burrata -decent for sure. The accompaniments overshadowed the taste of the Burrata. The crispy cauliflower and the shrimp scampi were disappointments... The cauliflower was a huge full head and it was charred on the outside, but totally raw and not cooked through inside. It was strange and I would NOT recommend...unless you want to pay for glorified raw cauliflower. The shrimp scampi was really missing the shrimp and the shrimp flavor. There weren't many shrimp and they were also super small for the price you pay. The skewers were good...we tried a chicken and steak. They were decent and I enjoyed the sauce they come with. The drink was tasty, but not as special as I would have hoped. They were smoked old-fashioned but made with the smoky flavor.
