We bought the prefix menu for the 4th (3rd) of July. It said that we'd have viewing of the fireworks in a section for paid patrons. The food was decent, not great. The drinks were strong (great vote there) the biggest letdown was the fact that they didn't uphold the dress code or the policing of people who had paid to eat and watch the fireworks vs everyone else. Huge letdown as they let a bunch of people sit next to us that were very rude and annoying who didn't have wristbands from the venue. I would skip it going forward everything was mediocre. No need to follow the dress code here, as demonstrated by the patrons we saw. read more

I love a restaurant with live music. It really brings a different vibe. The band matched the mood perfectly. Service was great, Edith was very pleasant. Starters were below average for a fine dinning restaurant. We had the devil eggs, the whites were hard. I would not order them again. The smoked salmon was good but something you can get anywhere. The ahi tuna was also good but average. The main courses saved the night. They were very good. I tried the lamb and the chimichurri was one of the best I had. My girlfriend who always treats me to a wonderful birthday lunch brought me here. It's a really cozy little lunch place not busy at all during the week. You can do a lot of catching up here. They have a selection of cocktails on special at lunch and we tried the lemon drop martini one of the best I've ever had. We shared an order of the deviled eggs and they were pretty good and then we each had a bowl of the lobster bisque. It was absolutely delicious lobster bisque. Creamy with generous chunks of lobster. I got the tuna tartare for lunch and it was very good. My girlfriend decided to go straight to dessert and got the ricotta cheesecake. She said it was excellent. We had a lovely dinner celebrating two birthdays. Our server was wonderful and happily took our pictures and gave us great menu suggestions. The Ambiance is always great, I do wish they would bring back more of the Sinatra type of performers. That's what made me fall in love with the place in the first place, this time I barely recognized there was music. That's the only thing I think should be better. Other than that our server suggested the "bubs" for dessert. Crème brule with vanilla ice cream a la mode. With caramel drizzled on top. Insane! We had Sea Bass and lobster, steak. We came in as a group for a business dinner on a weeknight. We were promptly seated and I immediately noticed how all the patrons were very nicely dressed, which matched the upscale décor as well. Our server was quick to greet us and paid great care to our table during our stay. They have a very nice wine list with some nicely discounted, popular bottles on it! We started with a couple bottles and ultimately ordered one more later on. They also have a nice cocktail list and a bar that executes quite nicely. Menu was varied, from Italian to seafood, to steak and it all looked quite nice. We started with a couple crab cakes for the table and they were huge! Not the "MD Style" I'm used to, as there were some unwanted veggies (red pepper) in them, but the crab to filling ratio was very nice and they were still tasty. We also got their calamari and deviled eggs - both were very nice. Entrées for our group were all over the place and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I got their scampi pasta with blackened shrimp and it was nice. Plenty there, too much for me to finish. Save room for dessert they have a nice menu there as well. I visited on Friday, May 2nd. Upon arrival, the front desk greeting was polite. The dining room's ambiance was inviting, warm, soft lighting paired with an upscale, elegant, and classy atmosphere. The space also features a small area for live music, and this evening's jazz performance added a beautiful touch to the experience. Our server, Hector, was an absolute standout. Great retro ambience and service. Love the 60s elegant decor. From Caesar salad to cherries jubilee, this is the best of retro dining. We shared an umami rich Caesar salad accompanied by dirty blue cheese martinis. Yum. Next we had the double pork chops (wow) and steak tenderloin Diane special. Both were excellent. We read on their website that a dress code, requiring jackets for men, was expected. After making reservations, we arrive for a 6:30 seating. I saw one other gentleman wearing a jacket. More than several tables with men in shirtsleeves were seated. Hector introduced himself as our waiter and took drink orders. After waiting a prolonged period, we were told that our "new" waiter was "Punchy". Punchy took our orders, delivered our drinks (my maritini immediately followed by a glass of wine I wanted with my meal). After delivering our entrees, we didn't see Punchy until we waved him down to clear our table. I am affable, gregarious and, I believe, kind and generous. Perhaps this was misconstrued as be "agreeable to lesser service". It is not. I must assume that a dress code is variable if business is slow. The food was just "okay". We came for a team dinner for 13, ironically at Table 13 :P. The table was setup and we got to sit right away. Very clean modern looking restaurant with some gorgeous chandelier hanging around. They offer a bunch of drinks including some excellent wine collection. We got to try a variety of appetizers among which I loved the deviled eggs and lobster bisque. For entree I had the filet mignon with risotto. I sort of wanted more flavor on my streak, I felt was little crusty as well. Risotto was too bland. At the end I had the creme brûlée, that was really good. Throughout the night service was amazing. Our glasses were constantly filled with our drinks. Table 13 offers on their Menü a Dish called " French Dip " One of the Stars is the sliced Roast Beef. Tender , thinly Sluiced , generous Portion and a wonderful flavor. A other Star is the Au Jus , generous size Cup to douse the Meat with the Bun , the flavor similar to a French Demi- Glace. The combination of the tender Beef with the Au Jus is simply put perfect. I've frequented the fabulous bar at Table 13 many times but this is the first time I've sat in the dining room. Two waiters introduced themselves to us and their service was as different as night and day. Let's start with the service from the inexperienced or uninterested wait staff. No eye contact, didn't tell us the specials, and most importantly, didn't tell us that the Lemon Caper Chicken has a breading on it. The polished server thankfully told us the specials and when we commented that the chicken was disappointingly breaded, he says he offers guests a choice of breaded, blackened or grilled. (!) Needless to say, husband did not enjoy his entree. My group of 3 did love the scallop appetizer which was a special item. These were 3 large and perfectly seared. I shared the pecan crusted salmon and this was mouthwatering delicious. The live 50's one-person-show was fabulous and not too loud. The atmosphere is 10/10. read more

I love the ambiance and the live music, but for us the most coveted tables are not close to the band. The tables in the back as you walk in or those in the back room are really the only ones where conversations can be easily heard if more than 2 people. Service for us this night by Hector was outstanding. I don't think he could have done anything better. We were celebrating a birthday and he made is special for her. We started with cocktails and my normal dirty gin martini was not great to say the least. Not sure what happened, but I did not enjoy it. Overall, the food is good, but not great in my opinion - at least on this night. Highlights were the grilled romaine salad and the shrimp scampi. We were so excited to try this restaurant. It started out great. The hostess was friendly. We were sat exactly on time. The waiter seemed friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks. Two espresso martinis and a gin tonic. The martinis were a bit sweet but ok. We ordered the tuna tartare. It was delicious. We also ordered the lobster bisque and it was tasty. For our entrees my wife and I order the chateaubriand. My daughter ordered the butterfish. We were enjoying the live music and noticed it was taking a bit for the dinner to arrive. And when the dinner finally arrived that's when they went off the rails. First they brought my daughter's fish and set down two empty plates. Her meal was starting to get cold so we told her to eat. After what seemed an eternity the waiter showed up with already cut meat and one plate of a small pile of mashed potatoes, a huge pile of vegetables and the biggest pile of mushrooms I have ever seen on one plate. The waiter then proceeded to put the meat on the two empty plates. He then tried to put the mushrooms mashed potatoes and vegetables on the plate with one hand and a fork and spoon. It was painful to watch. The final plates looked someone had just stirred the plate around. My mashed potatoes had huge chunks of mushrooms that the waiter had stirred in to the potatoes. My daughter had finished her meal by this time and ours was cold from the ten minute of casserole creation by the waiter. I tried to eat it but it was disgusting. A $116 cold casserole. It is one of the worst fine dining meals I have ever tried to eat. I would have complained but we were celebrating and I just really did not feel like dealing with the situation. A fancier restaurant in a random strip mall. Crowd definitely skews older like 40-50+. The restaurant is split up into the main dining room where there's the band. And then a smaller secluded room in the back. Typical American food. Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers ($14) and 16 oz rib eye ($60). It's decent to split and they cut into slices for you. I thought they were just going to cut it in half and probably would've preferred that instead. I left feeling satisfied but not 100% full, which is fine. I think they only have chocolate cake for birthdays! It's good - definitely on the sweet side. It was good. I don't think I would go back though. Table 13 has been my favorite restaurant for many years. The old Hollywood atmosphere is great. But the quality of the food has gone down. I took my Brother there for lunch and told him how great the food was. The Risotto was crunchy. My husband and I recently ate there for my Birthday dinner. I ordered Sea Bass, Risotto, & asparagus. My food was salted so heavily, I couldn't eat it. So I sent it back and the next plate was just as salty. Also the portions were smaller. I hope the quality of the food improves because it's a nice experience to eat there. Hoping! read more

I came here for lunch with a group of friends for Restaurant Week. We made reservations ahead of time and was seated quickly. Service was great. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The pin-up model posters are pretty cool too. There is a dress code which we didn't realize. Half of us were a bit underdressed and we felt really bad about, but fortunately, nobody gave us trouble over it. From the Restaurant Week menu, Hubby and I both ordered the Steak "Poutine". It's not really a real poutine, but it was delicious anyways! The steak was cooked perfectly to our liking, and the peppercorn sauce was sooo savory and good. For dessert, we had the Banana Fosters Bread Pudding and Southern Chocolate Cake. Both desserts were fantastic, and we both appreciated how it was not overly sweet. This was a wonderful dining experience in Addison. This is a great place to take a date. Old time look and feel to the restaurant and they have a quartet playing during dinner on a Friday night. Pictures of the rat pack and others from the period as you enter. I started out with a Lobster bisque which was excellent. Rich and just right. Followed with perfectly done lamb chops. My date ordered a Sea bass which looked delicious. I was too consumed with my chops to try hers but I know she enjoyed the dish. Service was top notch and attentive. I just had my third business lunch at Table 13 and it was as good as the first 2. I like Table 13 because it's intimate. It's quiet enough that you can have a conversation and has nice décor timeless and, frankly, a little scintillating. Food is above average but not across the board. My colleagues burger was fine but nothing special. Regardless, I've not seen any bad dishes served and everything I've eaten was tasty and well cooked. I really enjoyed the chicken marsala I had yesterday and the crab stuffed mushrooms were excellent. Pricing is normal but dinner appears to get expensive. Still, it's a great little spot and perfect for quiet meals. read more

Went to Table 13 with a friend to experience DFW Restaurant Week for dinner. I have been there in the past for lunch during DFW Restaurant week so we wanted to try dinner. My field greens with strawberries salad was good. My friend had a Caesar salad with the dressing lacking as it seemed to mayonaisy and instead of croutons, there were bread crumbs, which don't do a Caesar justice. My stuffed trout entry was good except for the salmon colored "cream/sauce" that was lined on top of the trout, that again tasted like mayo with some addition. Also, the trout came with a half of lemon which I squeezed to add some zest to the trout and in addition to the juice, I got about 8 lemon seeds!!! Lemon not pitted and/or cloth to prevent the seeds from being on my fork and in my mouth? Not expected of a restaurant the calibre of Table 13?? Aside from those two issues, I liked the trout. My dining companion had the filet that came with mashed potatoes but the dish did not look interesting at all. The blue cheese crusted filet had the peppercorn sauce on top of the blue cheese crust and the mashed potatos had a darker brown gravy. So, the plate looked like two mounds on the plate. Not a very good looking dish. I think the chef could have done much better plating and instead of the mashed with brown gravy could have used something else. Desserts were good. I had the lemon ricotta cheesecake and my companion had the banana forsters bread pudding. Both great. I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was very good. So tender and packed with flavour! For our mains, all my friends got steak and they really liked it. I got the salmon and it was pretty good too. My job had a holiday party here and rented out one of the rooms. The waiters provided us with many appetizers, drinks and then we ordered our entrees. Food: The food was a 10/10. For the apps I tried the jumbo lump crab cakes, bacon wrapped dates, seared ahi tuna, beef crostini and shrimp cocktail. For the entree I went with the Steak Diane with lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was my least favorite and tasted more like tomato soup. My mom ordered ribeye and said it was seasoned perfectly. I also had a few mocktails. Not sure what they were called but I requested something sweet and fruity and they delivered. The drinks came with cute tiny animals on the rim. Service: Service was good! I did have an unpleasant encounter with one of the woman who bussed the table. My purse has fell on the floor and I wasn't aware. Instead of picking it up for me when she saw it, she tapped me and pointed the the floor; that was kind of rude in my opinion. Overall: Would highly recommend. read more

I came here for lunch last week and had a lovely time! I had been wanting to check out Table 13 for a long time so I decided to take advantage of the Restaurant Week Menu for lunch. The restaurant is very nice and old school swanky, and has a small dining area. I was seated promptly without a reservation and was immediately attended to. For my meal, I had the steak frites (steak, fries, with a blue cheese gravy on top - along the lines of a poutine) and strawberry cheesecake. Both were very good. There was also complimentary bread which was good. My server was very attentive and friendly. I look forward to returning for dinner to try more of the menu and for the live music that I keep hearing about. read more
