Steak with no asparagus and instead shredded carrots. Also sauce on top

My girlfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day and overall had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, they were out of the asparagus that we both ordered, and when we asked about it, we were simply told they were out with no real follow-up or alternatives offered. I ordered the tres leches cake for dessert but was served the wrong dessert, and we also ordered a chocolate mousse cake where the mousse was the only thing on the plate. I truly enjoyed my food, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our waters were only refilled once the entire evening. When I asked for a small change to my steak (sauce on the side), our waiter argued that it would taste better with the sauce on top. I still requested it on the side, but when the meal arrived, the sauce was poured over the steak anyway. The food itself was good, but better communication and more attentive service would have made the experience much more enjoyable--especially for a special occasion like Valentine's Day.

Happy Hour calamari, crab cake, and Paso Robles Cab

This is a gem. Old world ambience with fantastically personalized and friendly service by Melissa & Maruchon. They made a point to ask my name and use it when conversing with me. With vaulted ceilings, elegant seating (banquets, traditional tables with white linen tablecloths), ornate crystal chandeliers, and even a stage for live music, this place is definitely a place the Rat Pack would've held court. I came for the happy hour (there's few places you could get $11 beef wellington, $16 crab cake, or $11 calamari, much less at this high quality with a matching setting) and was not disappointed. Run, don't walk, to this place.

Food was delish. I ordered a filet, wedge salad. My husband ordered the chefs special of lobster with scallops, shrimp and redfish with a white wine sauce. It was so good. He won! The service was good. We also started with a crab cake that was rich but was on a bed of coke slaw so it wasn't as rich. Apparently, on Friday nights, the bar area becomes a little dance party for those ripe in age. We had fun watching the dancing and it was packed, we couldn't find a seat (it was 9:30pm) so get there early.

Service good. Ambience is great. I sat in the lounge area where a duo was playing on the stage. Was craving some beef Wellington which has become a rare find on menus. Was disappointed with the dish here. The pastry was not cooked properly. Large spots were uncooked and soft in texture. Almost like a dumpling. To their credit the server took it off the bill when I told him about it. The beef was ok. Will return and update

A friend and I went to Arthur's steakhouse for restaurant week. Our food - Crab cake, prime tenderloin of beef with asparagus and mashed potatoes, and chocolate mousse were excellent! The crab cake was all crab! All three courses were generous portion sizes. Our server was also very good! I highly recommend this restaurant for the high quality food and service! The dining area of the restaurant is nice and upscale. The lights were too low. I could not read the menu or bill without a flashlight. I'd recommend turning up the lights one notch. They have a lively bar area and dance floor with live music which is an interesting contrast. The Sat night my friend and I were there, a husband and wife team were the live music. From where we sat in the dining room, it sounded like Karaoke- not terrible - but not upscale restaurant music. The clientele is mostly 70+, so my friend and I were the youngest people there by far. Based on the clientele and bar area, the ambiance is interesting.

Is it easy access for wheelchair?

Yes. There's handicapped parking in front, with a pathway for wheelchair access. You'll want to use the door on the right, beside the rotating door for entry.…

I love Arthur's, haven't been in a few years. I have a question, does Arthurs allow you to bring in your own wine and charge it uncorking fee? If so, what is the fee?

Thanks for thinking of Arthur's, Rick. Unfortunately we do not allow BYOB at Arthur's. We have a full wine list we'd love to share with you, though!

Fortunately, they had some space on the patio. It was a hot night however they had couple fans to blow away some heat. Food: Started with a salad which was fresh, flavorful and with large chunks of beets, watermelon, and feta cheese. Great appetizer. My wife and I wanted to try a couple of items to share for the main entree, I had branzino. The whole fish, filleted, and grilled. The flavor was rich, without being overly salty nor too oily. The sides 1. Grilled Branzino - Served with quinoa arugula salad 2. Ali Nazik- Chargrilled lamb shish over smoked eggplant puree served with bean salad on the side Both were fantastic. The lamb was cooked just right and turned out moist and tender. The eggplant puree was a great texture; neither too smooth to lose its integrity nor too chunky. The staff was attentive and helpful. Verdict: 9/10: Would definitely go back but with a reservation or in a mindset to sit in the heat on the patio. Also, the deboning process for the fish could've used a little more care, but that didn't take away from the flavor.

The good : flavors were delicious. Our server was attentive and the entire staff seemed happy to have us.The flat bread pide (at another table) looked sumptuous . Chicken shish kebab chunks were cooked well and seasoned nicely and were juicy. The complementary bread is superb. The yogurt dip that went with though was not enough for us to have more than a few bites. Needs improvement: there was no reason why the accompanying (delicious) bean and cucumber salad was 24 to 48 hours old with Limp cucumbers and parsley and flavorless tomatoes. Needs to be fresh daily and use cherry tomatoes or Campari tomatoes for flavor and crispness. Turkish Rice was meh. It was cooked properly but not a whole lot of flavor and perhaps I was expecting more of a Lebanese style pilaf with butter, nuts, spices, onions, etc. to brighten it up. Beyti minced beef had good flavor, but why did they have gristle in it? My dinner companion complains was that this was a cheap cut. The butcher supplier is not paying attention. It also could've used a little bit more sauce on the bread wrap pieces for added juiciness. We ordered the.Tzatziki yogurt dip which helped add juiciness . There was no reason why the Turkish red wine came out warm. I realize that we were in a Dallas summer at 95° at 9 PM and the restaurant was slightly warm but still. Lastly, the owners might think about mitigating the hard surfaces that reflect sound in the restaurant. It's a lively place, but we were subjected to the group of six women who were drinking enough to be loud and screechy across the room - all too common across the city -and I did not need to hear them yukking it up. The place was full on a Saturday night, which bodes well for this restaurant. The staff attitude is good, but I'm afraid this will not be a repeat for me and my companions. .
