Beautiful strip for lu ch, brunch or dinner vibe. I love the scenery, the water front, the lights, people walking by as you eat on the patio. Kids laughing and playing, I love it all. Definitely a lovely strip to visit, a few restaurants to choose from. If you're in the area don't forget to swing by.

Look, I'm a sucker for outdoor spaces. So when I find one nearby, I HAVE to check it out. This one happens to be a few steps outside my office at Granite Park. There is a lovely lake that is surrounded by office buildings, parking garages and The Boardwalk. Of course, the boardwalk is what attracts the visitors-likely from those other spaces. There is a long row of restaurants-the main entrances face the parking lot, but another entrance is on the opposite side that faces the water. Most of the restaurants have patio seating along the boardwalk as well. I'm not sure if I'm just lucky, or if the weather really is this fickle, but every time I visit, it ends up raining. I kind of think it's common here, since the restaurants are prepared for this and have covered patios. So you can still enjoy your cocktail outdoors and not get drenched. I love it! Sometimes, I've seen activities out on the boardwalk. Other times, it's just lots of people out enjoying the music and food along the water.

What a cool hidden gem! I say that because the countless times I've driven RIGHT by, all I saw was the backside of all the restaurants. For our day date we strolled the boardwalk, and even though it was about 35° out, it was still welcoming and beautiful. All but one restaurant were open & offered both indoor & outdoor seating. Everything looked so yummy! I can't wait to come back when it warms up so we can enjoy the Adirondack chairs, firepits, ping ping, corn hole, etc. Perfecr for a girls night, date night, lunch meet-up, family outing, etc!

The Boardwalk is super cool! I am from Kansas City and my cousin led us to this spot and I really feel they did a great job with the whole area. There are lots of different food concepts, great patio areas and play areas for the kiddos. For sure give it a go. As a family night out, graduation meal, watch "the game" bachelorette dinner or for a date night, there is something for every occasion.

She wanted to recreate a Mezcal drink that was phenomenal at Old Hickory in Gaylord hotel. From our description, the bartender tried her best to duplicate what we had. But the Mezcal drinks we had at Whiskey Moon were very good and we enjoyed them as a nightcap. The bar is located in the lounge of the Renaissance hotel. It is laid out nicely so there is ample seating at the bar or in the lounge. Service was friendly and professional. It's a bit pricey but I guess that is what vacations are for.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago.
