The food wasn't good. My chicken Marsala was more like a gravy instead of a Marsala wine sauce. The chicken over done. Vegetables I ordered were frozen veggies. My husband's lasagna had no noodles hardly. Usually a lasagna is layers and this was not. Not a good experience at all. read more

Was at Nick's with my wife and a couple of friends. We were there a couple of weekends ago. The staff were fantastic. We had the meatball appetizer and garlic knots. They were very good. Wife ordered Alfreda and rolls. She loved them. I had the Ribeye and a baked potato. The potato was awesome. The ribeye was a good cut, but it really gave off a charcoal flavor. Almost burned flavor. I'll order Italian the next time. All in all we will definitely be back. Great atmosphere and fantastic people! read more

I work with a new home builder and as part of our training this week, I took my sales team to Nick's for our first time. The lunch specials are incredible. $12.99 included an entree, salad, the garlic knots and a drink. The wait staff were incredibly friendly. Nick even made his rounds and introduced himself and checked on different tables in the dining area. We love supporting small businesses like Nick's and are so glad to have found this place. We will definitely be regulars as our community is less than a mile away! 10/10 highly recommend. Nick's will not disappoint! read more

Great little Italian place in Pilot Point... what a pleasant surprise in pilot point! Been driving by here for years and decided to check it out. Greeted promptly and drinks delivered quickly. We were served warm dinner rolls with garlic butter, salads also accompanied our meals. My wife had a vegetarian pizza which looked amazing and was piled on with fresh toppings. Both my daughter and I had chicken piccata which we agreed was pretty tasty-- chicken piccata can be a difficult dish but they nailed the sauce! Stumbled across this hidden gem. Loved how friendly the staffs and the owner, Nick, were to us. We got their weekday lunch special ($12.99) that comes with a choice of your pasta, drink, salad, and garlic bread (You can't beat that price)! Their pasta sauce and homemade butter were SO good. We added a nice kick of spice to the sauce too and it was perfect. The portions were huge that we had to box the leftovers home. My hubby and I recently moved to this area, and he stumbled upon this place and wanted to give it a shot. I was a bit concerned since I'm on a low-carb diet and it's an Italian restaurant. But I decided to give it a try! I ordered the grilled chicken and veggies in a garlic sauce, along with a side of Alfredo and the house salad. It was absolutely delicious! I couldn't resist the roll, but hey, you can't resist a good roll, right? My hubby had John's lasagna, and he said it was some of the best he's ever had! We highly recommend this place! I am surprised that this place has high ratings. The veal is sliced, overcooked and rubber! They brought out our food so fast that it can't be made to order. You can tell they are taking shortcuts and precooking the meat. The meatball sub and chicken parm sub were just ok. We will never eat here again. I can make better at home. So sad . read more

Food and service was ok. What I didn't like was their add on for credit cards and how they do it. Here is what happened: I got the check and paid with my credit card. When I got the credit card check to sign I noticed it was more than the bill. I asked why. They told me they charge 3% more for credit cards. They have two tiny signs that tell you that. First thing, these signed aren't very visible so you really don't know. Second thing, when I calculated the up charge for the credit card, it was 4% NOT 3%. That is fraud. The average customer wouldn't even know. When I told them the up charge was 4% and not 3%, they had to response. I understand the 3% credit card up charge but don't charge 4% and fool the customers. read more

My oldest daughter loves this place. We all went last night and I can see why. They had a run on calamari so didn't get to try that but went with the stuffed mushrooms which were excellent. Moved on to the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. Normal spaghetti and chicken but the sauce made it for me. Very rich and flavorful. Salad comes with it and bread rolls, very good. The aristocrat sauce is very good an enter kids pepperoni pizza was covered in both cheese and pepperoni. Food, Service, and Cleanliness were all AMAZING!! My husband and I ate at Nicks tonight for the second time, we got a medium pepperoni pizza and it may have been the BEST pizza we have ever had. The cheese on the pizza felt truly authentic and reminded me of our trip to NYC back in December. This place is what customer service is all about. The manager or owner (not sure) went to every single table and asked how things were going and greeted the regulars. The wait staff shares tables so you have multiple people checking in on you to make sure your drink was never low and you had what you needed. Absolutely amazing service. The free bread was nice, hot, and crispy! The calamari wasn't our favorite, it seemed a bit undercooked. The main entrees did take a while to come out, but the place was hopping on a Friday evening. The lobster ravioli is very reasonably priced and was delicious with the aristocrat sauce. The ribeye was also very good. I'm always leery of small town restaurants, but this place was fantastic! I ordered the house salad with two house dressings, one was a tomato vinaigrette and the other a house made ranch. Mixed Together they were even better. Very upset with our recent experience at Nick's. We placed an order for three items over the phone-- two pastas and an entree (which comes with a side salad). The menu lists their prices as $8.99, $9.99, and $13.99. We ordered double protein on the entree which was another $3, so the check should have been around $40 with tax. I went to pick up the order and it was $53. Thought it was high but paid and went back to my car (someone else called in the order so I thought maybe I missed something). I realized they didn't include the side salad, so I went back in and told them I was missing an item. The cashier kept telling me that lunch specials come with salad but I told her I didn't order lunch specials and was missing just the salad for my entree. I repeated that we ordered two pastas and one entree and only needed one salad. Then she asked me what drinks I wanted. I told her we didn't order drinks. She came back with three salads, and that point I just took the bag and left. The whole encounter left me confused, so I called Nick's and asked for some clarification of my bill because I think I was overcharged. The woman on the phone then told me completely different prices than their menu online and said that we ordered two lunch specials (we didn't) that were $12.99 each and the entree we order was $18.99 instead of $13.99. I said we didn't order lunch specials, and she said that's how the meals come now. She even said that the menu is outdated and that's not her fault. The menu online has been the same version for years, and owners/management never changed it to reflect the updated prices? Ridiculous and questionable behavior. Incredibly shady and very aggravating experience. Also, if lunch specials all come with salad and drinks, and that's how were charged, why were none of the salads and no drinks included in the order initially? Came here for years and moved away from the area. Was in town today and now know I won't be back. read more

As someone with celiac disease I don't advise others with celiac to come here. I had a reaction with the pizza which was terrific by the way. The staff were amazing! The vibe of the restaurant was realy nice as well. But I don't recommend for people with celiac since there was cross contamination. read more
