Stopped in for lunch, this place is great! The owner is super friendly and will tell you about how he started the restaurant. We had the Powerhouse Burger and the Bacon Cheeseburger. Both burgers were excellent. Lots of dipping sauces to choose from for fries.

Definitely one of the best, if not the best, restaurant burgers I've tasted. "Who's in the kitchen" was the conversation at the table because it tasted like we were in someone's home. Everything was made to order and tasted extremely fresh (coming from someone who has worked in a beef plant). Great quality of beef. Perfectly roasted jalapeño's. Evenly dispersed condiments (which is not as common as one would think). Every bite was balanced. From the pictures I thought the fries were basic, they were not lol cooked to perfection. Extremely nice staff. May be family owned. Made you feel like family when you come in. Everyone the left seemed to be a regular. Best comment I heard, "my day can only go down from here because you have brought it up so much" S/o to my wife for finding this hidden gem. You will be seeing me more than my physician may like!

What a surprise! My husband and I took a day trip to Pilot Point. We were originally planning on getting some BBQ, but, since they were out of everything, we came here. And, let me tell you, this burger joint does not deserve to be a "second choice". If we're ever in the area again, we'll for sure be back. Their burgers had a great flavor and we loved their selection of sauces. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. The environment was quaint and had a family-owned vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!

We've been wanting to try this spot since we moved to Celina 2 years ago... and we finally made it! The owner was a total delight and the space was so quaint. Upon arrival, a family was leaving and said they love it so much they come weekly! We had 2 pre-teen boys and a toddler with us and all three were satisfied! I had the cheeseburger with onion straws. The power sauce that came on the side was delicious!

Cool idea for outdoor dining. They'll be ready if the creek rises, lol.

We drove to Pilot Point to see the Union Pacific Railroad steam locomotive roll through town and make a short stop. Big Boy is humongous and is certainly something you need to see. Fortunately, we arrived early and stopped at Powerhouse Burgers before the train's arrival time. I love small towns in Texas and small, family owned businesses. Pilot Point is growing, like most towns in North Texas but Powerhouse Burgers is still super charming and serves up a short menu of great food. The menu looks limited, but they will build you a burger with any combinations you desire. We wanted a bacon cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms & onion and bleu cheese. Sorry, but my phone lost the pic of this delicious entre. I couldn't have asked for it to be any better. The burger patty was crispy around the edges but still juicy enough to require multiple napkins. It's not on the menu, but they added a side of onion straws because we had to try them. They're like onion rings, but with thinner slices of onion and much more difficult to make. The onion straws were really good, too. My phone also lost a picture of a creative way to keep the kids busy while waiting for the food to arrive. Every booth has a rack on the wall that holds a box of colored chalk and an old tray for a canvas. Ours had a leftover drawing of a hamburger for us to enjoy. I really appreciated their use of an old pontoon boat for outdoor dining. They put 2 picnic tables on the deck and built a ramp to get up there. It was too hot to take advantage of it, so I hope they'll add a canopy in the future. Business was slow (around 2pm) so we had time to talk story with the owner and his mama. We had a great time sharing railroad info and learning about their town and business. We'll certainly be back to see them again.

The food was delicious. It is a quaint little place but man it stayed busy. To top it off the staff was so friendly. The man who took our order asked how the food was and made sure he bid us good day as we left. We would definitely go back!!

The best simply the best! The Hawaiian with the pineapple and extra onions is hands down my favorite burger! Thank you for being a staple in pilot point.

The way I found this place was by smell! A few friends and I were coming through the area to go horseback riding and as we walked around we smelled something delicious. We decided to look for it and found this little gem! It is such a hidden place but so amazing! We walked in, small place with outdoor seating as well. The man who took our order is super funny and really nice. He seems to be the owner and he was super cool in general. We ordered some burgers and fries and it was absolutely delicious! I'm actually craving this place just thinking about it. I'd recommend checking them out if you're in the area :)

What may be intended as vintage charm felt more like an episode of flea market finds covered in years of dust. The menus. Everyone at our table received a different version, complete with conflicting prices, different hours, and spelling errors, including "SHRIP." Maybe they spin a wheel in the back to determine the price you pay? We asked for recommendations, everything is equal was the response. Service was nonexistent after she dropped the food on the table, drink refills were missed, and she asked twice if we wanted onions on the dish or on the side, we replied on the dish but they arrived on the side. The food tasted like bagged, frozen foods introduced to fryer oil that had already lived a full life. If you're looking for greasy, fried comfort food, you may enjoy it. If you're looking for fresh ingredients and quality home cooking, you may want to choose any other restaurant. The most memorable part of the experience came at checkout. The payment screen offered a 20%, 25%, or 30% tips option, with 25% already pre selected which could not be changed by the customer. The custom tip option was reportedly broken, as was the no tip option. When I explained I couldn't change it, she asked, "What do you want to change it to, no tip?" Nothing says hospitality quite like turning gratuity into a hostage negotiation. ‍ Finally, I visited the ladies' room before leaving. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning, sticky grease laden doors, sticky soap dispenser, and no toilet paper in my stall, thank goodness I brought a friend that could bring TP from her stall. Between the confusing menus, inattentive service, lack of cleanliness, forgettable food, and the expectation of a 25% tip for pathetic service, even McDonald's is a better choice.

This is why my rating is only based on the food quality. Brisket and Queso $10 Smoked brisket, Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, cilantro. A little too high for an appetizer, but the queso and brisket were good. I wasn't a fan of the sauce, the sweetness was a clash for me. The chips were also way too salty. The house salad $14 was an XL salad for sure! Everything was so good and fresh. They kindly brought me extra cheese and grilled jalapeños. The ranch was just right too! Downside: my patty was over-seasoned and overcooked. My partner purchased their most basic burger, the Waylon $12, the fries are sold separately. This burger was small, and once again, the patty itself was a disappointment. Texas sun cocktail was refreshing but just a simple pineapple and vodka mix.
