Came to give them a chance to redeem themselves after our last fiasco (we never actually got food because they forgot to put in our order and kept making excuses about how busy they were). We lucked out and got Crystal as our server this time and all was right with the world. She is always great! I always have a hard time choosing between their burgers but Crystal recommended the Mike Rawlings when I told her which ones I was considering, so I went with that...GREAT choice! The portion of fries is large enough for two so we order one to share. Boyfriend had a chocolate shake to wash his down. We'll be back. We'll chalk the last time up to a bad day and move on.
We went here for dinner on a Sunday evening after our number 1 choice was too busy. Rodeo Goat is reliable and everyone in the family likes it, so it was not a bad Plan B. I had the Hot Bastard for the first time and really liked it. There is a good amount of heat from the habanero cheese and Fresno chilis, but it is not overwhelming and not scorching hot to the extent it is unpleasant. Instead, you feel the heat but it is pleasant and flavorful. I wish they served burgers medium instead of medium well. The wife had a salad, the avocado salad, and loved it. Very good quality and tasty. The kid had kid sliders and there were two problems. One, she asked for no cheese but it came with cheese, and thus a struggle ensued getting her to eat the "gross" cheese. Second, she asked for Sprite, no ice, but it came with ice. Small things for sure, but in the world a kid, these are cataclysmic. These are kitchen glitches. Our server, Cecelie, was friendly, gracious, and helpful. We are fans of Rodeo Goat and despite the glitches we will return for sure.
The food was great and the beer was nice. The service was friendly and welcoming. The over vibe was decent and had more a diner feel to it not bad at all. Plenty of tv's to watch whatever event is on. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area
Rodeo Goat burgers, enough said for a great burger! Imagine e a great burger you would like and it is here! If not, rearrange the ingredients to have them make it! They have many combinations including various patties to no -beef options. I wanted the Lakewood CC. Perfectly grilled, lettuce, beefsteak tomato, cheese, tasty red onion, mayo and mustard plus a fresh baked bun! The handcuffs fries have the perfect amount of parsley, coarse ground pepper and salt with a thin crisp on the outside. Lots of great beer selections! The interior is spacious plus an outside patio the family and large groups will love. Lots of parking and easy to find. It might be a bit pricey for some, but expected for a true gourmet burger.
They have a great outdoor patio with lots of seating available. Seemed like a good place for families and after school activity hang out spot. Prices were fair for the portion and the food was great. Our waitress was attentive and apologized for the long wait. If the Empire is still on the menu, be sure to try it out! Highly recommend!
Rude Management Does Not Care About Customers On Monday, May 25, 2026, I received an email from Rodeo Goat saying, "We miss you at Rodeo Goat!" and offering free Goat Balls within the next seven days, with no additional restrictions listed. Based on that offer, my wife, a neighbor, and I visited the Casa Linda location on May 27 for lunch. We ordered burgers, fries, drinks, and showed our waitress the email before requesting the complimentary Goat Balls. After our meal, the waitress informed us that the promotion code would not work. She checked with the manager, Adam Goodchild, who said the offer had already been redeemed. I explained that I had only received the email two days earlier and had not used the offer. When I spoke with Adam directly, he repeatedly stated that his system showed the offer had already been used and insisted the system was correct. Since we had not redeemed the offer, I felt he was implying that I was being dishonest. I requested his name and corporate contact information. When he returned with only his business card and an email address, I suggested the issue could be resolved simply by honoring the promotion. He responded that I was just upset and had not given him a chance to help, yet he never offered to provide the Goat Balls or any other solution. Despite my explaining that we were long-time customers who had earned six or seven $25 rewards through the loyalty program over the years, he remained unwilling to address the situation. I ultimately told him we would not be returning, and he simply said goodbye and walked away. Ironically, we earned another $25 reward during that visit. We have brought family and friends to Rodeo Goat for years and only chose to dine there that day because of the promotional email. While the missing Goat Balls were a minor issue, the manager's dismissive attitude and unwillingness to resolve a clear problem were extremely disappointing. We have been loyal customers because we enjoy Rodeo Goat's food, but there are many excellent burger restaurants in Dallas, so we have plenty of options. And although the restaurant displays a sign that says, "If something is not right, tell us now," it appears to be little more than a meaningless sign. Based on the manager's actions, it was clear that they do not actually care about customer service and customer satisfaction. I also contacted Rodeo Goat's corporate office regarding this experience and never received a response, which only reinforced that impression. Harold B. Green

We ordered two "bowls" of chili at $10 each to go and what we found when we got home was a complete rip-off. One container was barely half-full, and the other wasn't much better. Charging $10 each for a tiny, nearly empty cup is ridiculous. See the photos--save your money and go somewhere that actually fills the container.
Wow! Called in an order for pick up, ready right when I walked in the door. The food was great and the French fries were incredibly tasty. The Empire was my choice this time. I usually grab the Royale with Cheese cause it's perfection. the Empire blew me away too! I've been to 3 locations now and they have all been amazing.
The Nanny Goat cooked perfect as always. Clean floors. Attentive staff and room cool but not uncomfortable. Wanted to get a shirt for my son funny manager had no problem going out a few I was looking at and showing me the fronts and back to the each. The restroom went super clean and tidy when needed. Would definitely recommend this location. Super easy to find from the large sign by the road.

Our server was nice, only leaving four stars bc he didn't seem very knowledgeable about what could be customized on our burgers, or what people typically order cocktail wise. But nothing against him, we can read and the menu was very thorough! The restaurant is a country styled diner and has open seating, perfect for a lunch or gathering. Definitely going back when I'm in the mood for a hearty burger!

You could also book "the pen" which is a private area in the back of the restaurant. Service was great, drinks were great and the food was tasty! I have nothing negative to say about our first experience at Rodeo Goat! I look forward to going back!
I love that I can come get a vegan patty, impossible burger or a turkey burger if I don't want beef. Our server Travis was lovely and very attentive, great service. The ambiance isn't like the other locations I've eaten at. This one used to be a cafeteria style place and they completely change it and gave it the rodeo motif but the former customers of the former spot are still very much here. They have an outdoor patio but no one was outside. This location smelled amazing upon walking in. This location is very quiet like a library.
fast service. simple, fresh, and delicious food. very chill vibes. this is my neighborhood go to, when i feel like eating out , but not going into the city. i've had lunch here a number of times and it is consistently fresh and great. i absolutely lovvveeee their fries ! i usually get the nanny goat or a cesar salad and always with fries ( i sub the beef patty for an impossible patty and sub the bib lettuce for arugula). this is great place to watch a game and grab beer, alone or with a big group!

Wow! The perfect burger experience- all burgers all the time! All are perfectly curated and matched with amazing toppings! The sides are not to be missed- sweet potato fries a HUGE win! You will not be disappointed! Service is great and immediate- very casual vibe - tons of seating and a huge beer selection- bottle and on tap! read more

I started off the evening with a Fainting Goat which is Revolver Blood & Honey with vodka and orange liqueur, the manu states that there is a two drink minimum on these, I didn't find that it was very strong at all but the flavor was still great. My heart had been set on having a really good burger but when we saw a waitress walk by with an order of cheese fries for another table, we were suckered in and I'm not mad about it at all. We got the half order of cheese fries, the fries were crispy and it is loaded with bacon bits and pickled jalapenos slices. The fries are nice and hot and have a creamy texture on the inside, but I do prefer them to have been twice fried so that they would have a crispier exterior. The cheese fries were delicious and even though we split a half order, they were super filling so we ended up skipping the burger all together even though most of them on the menu sounded absolutely delicious. We ended up going straight for dessert. I got the pumpkin spice goat balls since they are seasonal items, biscuit dough wrapped around sweetened brie cheese that is deep fried into crispy pillows of absolutely deliciousness and coated and cinnamon sugar. They are served typing hot while the cheese inside is super milky ingredients. They are accompanied with a pumpkin spice mascarpone or whipped cream cheese that melts into it and is absolutely everything you're fall dreams are made of. The old Highland Park Cafeteria got a cool new makeover and I can't wait to go back and actually have one of the burgers next time!! read more

Having been to another Rodeo Goat I knew what to expect. Great menu. Great burgers. Great service. And ambiance that holds your attention until the burgers arrive. I had the Blue Goat with added bacon. It was cooked to perfection and huge. Strong blue cheese taste and a bun that holds up to the moist contents. I will, however, pass on the bacon I added. It seemed to disappear amidst the other bold flavors. My friend had the Lakewood CC, your standard burger and she loved it having to finish it with knife and fork. I appreciate that our server mentioned that the fries (sweet potato) were generous enough to share. The side of ranch was a nice addition. Being adventurous I added the Goat Chips - in house potato chips. Again with a side of ranch. Again, a generous portion. Next time I'll order one or the other. Rodeo Goat has a number of seating options. Pub stools, tables, booths, and padded patio type chairs and tables. And I appreciate that the owners paid homage to the building's past as Highland Park Cafeteria and the wall of Presidents. Well done Rodeo Goat and welcome to the neighborhood. read more

Very good burger! I got the bodacious, Turkey burger. Cooked well, packed with flavor. The fries were good regular and sweet potato. Good made ranch. Oh we also got queso and chips as appetizer, some of the best queso I have ever had. Great staff! read more

Me and the wife decided we wanted something light for dinner. We ate excellent soul food for lunch, and wanted something different but not so heavy. So I googled turkey burgers near me and several places popped up, but one review stood out by its name and reviews. So in my famous words, "why not give it a try." Off to Rodeo Goat we go! My wife at first was like I don't know but once we walked in she felt a different vibe. Claire was an excellent waitress and helped us as first timers navigate the menu options for a turkey burger. Well we were not disappointed for the burger was well seasoned and cooked. The fries were okay, and we'll try the sweet potato fries next time to compare. Looking for a great spot try this place out. read more

Came for Sunday lunch, it was a decent crowd for that day. Tried the ranch house, overall the burger was good, ranch mayo was nice & bacon onion marmalade was very good. The French fries would definitely be enough for 2 to share. It's nice because it is pretty much a full service restaurant but it still has the casual feel. We sat inside but will definitely be back because of the patio. There's plenty of parking, it's on the other side of Tom Thumb. read more
