Chicken sandwich and tots with queso- excellent
    Bonnie W.

The chicken sandwich was well prepared. Queso was great flavor and consistency. Service very attentive even on busy Sunday. Drink specials daily, great drink menu. They play music on football Sunday during commercials, loud, at least that was my experience

The lemon grass wings were great! Ask for CESER The bartender. He took really good care of us. Not the norm for a sports bar .

Great. Have pool tables and golden tee. It's fun . The lemon pepper wings are great. Again ask for CESER. He does the extra mile

We tried this place recently to watch some college football games. The menu is large and has options for everyone. The staff were friendly and gave decent recommendations. The wings had great flavor. The nachos were tasty. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The place is spacious and has several seats at the bar. Service was a little slow towards the end, but it was late. We will be back.

A great place to watch your college football games.

Excellent place to watch your favorite college football team. Plenty of TVs, good bartender, nice crowd, not packed. The DFW West Virginia University football game watches were here and we got great service from Tiffany. We've moved to Bobbie's Social House on Frankfort in n Dallas now for the second half of the season.

Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers! Fresh and delish!

Came here after walking at White Rock lake! Luckily for me they have two vegetarian options! YES!…read more They had a veggie bean burger and an impossible burger. I got the impossible burger with sweet potato fries. Amazing! We sat outside which may have been the wrong move, once the food arrived a slew of flies swarmed us and would not give up! We were barely able to get through half of the meal before deciding to take half of the meal home and getting out of there. The staff was friendly. They love dogs and came to hang out with our dog and give them plenty of water. They even offer treats if you would like. There is plenty of parking for an off period (we came at around 2pm). This is such an awesome place, but next time we will sit inside.

The name of the game is food. And I'm a superstar. I don't think I'm particularly picky, but I can…read morebe. Where it counts. Which is food. Sometimes things win and sometimes things lose. In the end, we all just try to tally up the wins and losses and try our best to rate a restaurant. This is my story. Usually when traveling, I try to get in a smattering of different genres of food. Mostly because I tire easy. Like when walking. I also try to get in some of the best things I like. Which are burgers. And wings. I'm also kind of a sucker for wildly long names of things. Which is exactly where good friend beer garden and burger house comes in. I really dug the look of the place. Open concept with the outside, outdoor seating, cool lighting ambiance. Just a really cool vibe and feel. Like a dorm room after your freshmen year. You know, once you get everything figured out and you aren't bunking with that weirdo with all the waifu pictures hanging up and FaceTimes with his cat. I will say though, the only weird drawback this place had was it was DARK on the inside. Never really had that problem before. Wouldn't have been an issue had I remembered my headlamp, but I left it back in the mines. And in all honesty, I don't care too much about the state of the building around me as long as the food hits hard. I was pumped about the wings as they seemed to have an assortment of flavors. I ordered four and thinking back, I can't remember why. Maybe that was the minimum, maybe you could only order in increments of four. Nobody really knows at this point and I'm way too far away to drive back and ask. So, four wings. You were able to split the sauces. Not like atoms, but like different flavors. This is food, not science. So, like a good CERN scientist, I requested split sauce. I inquired about the KFC flavoring and the server told me it was a rub and their version of secret blend of herbs and spices. I'm not a fan of rubs simply because if I'm going to eat wings, I want them saucy and messy. Like my relationships. BUT he said, and I quote "it's really good." That was all I needed to hear. Sign me up. After the rub I knew I needed a sauce. I settled with the Mild because it seemed like a good middle of the road. Man. Sometimes you do wings right and sometimes you do wings RIGHT. The KFC rub was 100% top tier rub. It wasn't a light rub which I've experienced before, it was a full on flavor soak. Make no mistake, you were going to experience that rub flavor. It was so good if I accidentally got some on my fingers, I'd just have nubs left. The Mild sauce was also top tier. Although I will say it seemed a few steps above a mild sauce. It was like a Low to Mid Hot sauce wearing a Mild sauce mask. Like the kind your mom and dad used to wear at those parties you weren't allowed to go to. Oh, and the wings had that chef's kiss crunch and that chiefs kiss juiciness. 10/10 want to experience these wings again in a Groundhog's Day setting. Now let's talk burger. I have found that I love smash burgers. I have not figured out yet how to make a delicious one myself, so I rely on the skill of others. Much like everything else in my life. Except dentistry. I do that myself. Castaway style. I ordered the Bourdain which included the patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Kewpie mayo. Not sure what that last one is, but I like condiments on my burg, so sign me up. I'll let you in on a little secret, I used to make burgs for the Bee's back in my heyday. And a little deeper secret, I can't remember how we stacked them. That being said, when I make my personal burgers, everything is on top of the burger. I'll sometimes do a condiment or two on the bottom, but I have no real methodology. In my mind, you want that patty to hit those taste buds first. No middle man. Like the lawyer you kept having to talk to when trying to figure out which parent you wanted to live with. The Bourdain burger did the exact opposite with this burger. It had the lettuce and pickle as a buffer between meat and tongue. And honestly, I think that might have been what turned me off to the burger. I patties had good flavor, but it felt like it came in too late because I tasted toppings first. In my burger mind, this hurt more than it helped. Side Note: Fries were good. The spicy ranch would peel the paint off of any car, spot weld iron beams, and melt through your hand without protective gloves. It's hurting my mouth to even write this. PS Sorry for the sideways photos. I hate that, too. Chicken Wings: 12/10 Burger: 7/10 Spicy Ranch: Please Don't

A Dallas Gem! Saw lots of great reviews and finally got there today…read more I'm a foodie and have a chance to eat "fancy" some times, but I totally love a hole in the wall with great food, great spirit, kind staff and good service--double plus when locally owned. This place rocks all the boxes! A 30-yr Dallasite, my new fave. Warmly welcomed; with a dog-patio seated. Met our server, Mark-who is Gen Mgr-embodies EVERTHING about customer service. Immediate waters and greeting, and a water bowl for our pup. As simple as iced tea...locally sourced with subtle peach and hibiscus, maybe best iced tea I've ever had. Shared black mussels and shrimp/avocado salad-just superb! We would go back just based on the food. But we will make it a staple/our top go-to based on the staff/service/atmosphere-Kudos Mark and team!

Hot fries, cold steak. I think we got a steak someone else sent back to the kitchen…read more 2nd time reviewing, but so tremendously disappointed with the food tonight. Service was ridiculously slow with the server also working the packed tables due to an event, but the customers and quality shouldn't be the ones who are short changed just because management didn't make a better effort with handling increased demand. We waited awhile before getting menus, to order, to get any food. Service was friendly but overburdened. We FINALLY got our food. Mussels were good, but rushed and there were shells, for once, in the sauce. Mac and cheese was thrown together and just one notch about the blue box you get for a dollar at the grocery store. I shouldn't have paid more than $3 for it. My daughter was STARVING, so she ate it. On to the main meal I used to talk my daughter into waiting for over an hour: the hangar steak. Her first time trying this amazing cut of beef. But it was so DAMN COLD!!! WTH???? The fries were hot and tasty, but the steak was cold like maybe someone sent it back and we got it. It didn't fit the cook on the fries. She said the flavor was there, she can eat a lukewarm steak, but it was COLD. I'm so angry. The server asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. For what? I just paid and will never go back. Lake House RUINED my daughter's entire impression of one of the best and most underrated cuts of beef.
