Music is insanely loud. Can't have any conversation in this place. Ventilation needs some attention as well.

Went to hang out with some friends, but the experience was disappointing. The music was excessively loud, making it hard to hold a conversation. Several patrons were clearly beyond intoxicated and trying to start fights. There was no smoke filtration system, and the bathroom appeared to be full of mold. I first visited and reviewed this store maybe four years ago. Many things have changed in the intervening years; all for the better. The bar has such a variety of liquor and beers that I'm sure almost any favorite is on hand. And the "always-on" happy hour pricing can't be beat; I'm sure it's the best deal in the Frisco/Little Elm area. The humidor is very well stocked, with cigars for any taste, size preference and price point. And, if cigarettes are your preference, you can buy and smoke them at the bar also. There are four large screen TVs, showing a variety of sports from 11am to 2am every day. Friendly bartenders vary throughout the week so every day can be a little different experience. I visit almost every day and enjoy hanging and visiting with other "regulars" and making new friends as new people check it out. The owner, Dan, is very often in the store. Very nice man. Very engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about liquor, and especially cigars. He's a great resource to learn the finer points of cigar brands, wrappers, tobacco blends, etc. read more

This is my first time at "Up In Smoke" off of Eldorado Pkwy in Frisco. This is an amazing cigar bar. I just had a margarita at the bar (which I usually don't), but Heather made the best drink (margarita) mix that I've ever tasted! This is a great spot. You should try them out!!!!!! read more

So I walk in to do my usual CBD smoke, but this time I let them know I had a long day dealing with something, and I did not show any attitude. I greeted an elder as well and asked how his day was. He immediately started to complain about my CBD smoke before I even light it, and I walked away, after letting him know I'm allowed to as I have before. Heather approached me letting me know that I am to leave because customers are complaining about me... I was just standing there watching a football game after my interaction literally not talking, looking or interacting with anyone! I reminded Heather that I'm a real estate agent and also in partnership with nonprofit organizations so she knows that my intentions are not bad. She gave me a weird face and asked me to not come back as she walked me out. I asked her what I did wrong and reminded her that I didn't do ANYTHING WRONG.. and she didn't say ANYTHING except, "I'm not stupid, we don't condone in anything illegal here", I said "me either, I don't do illegal things" as she walked me out and she just closed the door, and again... giving me the worst face in the world. So as you can see per my review, they are willing to sacrifice a young hard working man's happiness like me, judging and viewing me with a negative perspective for their OWN HIDDEN AGENDA... think about this before you go in!!! Oh yeah, they also called the cops on me, for CHECKING TO SEE IF ENDZONE WAS OPEN, AND GETTING TACO BELL!!! They really did think the world was revolving around them last night haha, I wouldn't recommend this place, because they actually seem to be maybe just a little bit racist. What an awesome spot. And I say that having tried out damn near every cigar spot in DFW. It's kind of tucked back in a shopping center and is easy to miss but really cool inside. Fully stocked bar, comfy leather furniture, and a great crowd of people to have a smoke with. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating and will do whatever they can to help you out. Cigar selection isn't huge and the prices are a bit high but they have anything you could need within reason. Good variety of Monte Cristo which is a big plus for me personally. I am giving a generous two star rating due to the unfriendliness of the staff and price of smokes. Something must have happened as I had a completely different experience than my previous visits. Proceed with caution. This establishment, has in the past, been a great place to have a smoke. Was told that this cigar bar will no longer be a byob as they are in the process of getting their liquor license. Ok, let me start by saying I'm not a cigar smoker BUT, if you are... this place is super cool! Heather helped us with the ropes and was so helpful with making drinks and recommending cigars. My husband smoked a Cohiba and it was only $8 - cigars here range from $7.25-$50 but good selection for not very expensive. Very cool atmosphere and I didn't smell or see anyone smoking cigarettes (saw a previous review say that was allowed), which was great! Rolled into Up In Smoke and met, who I believe was Ivan. Ivan, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the sticks in his humidor. I heard about Up In Smoke and seen the reviews on this site, but never made it to the shop, until I bought a crib in the area. I like the shop, because it has a bar, and, after a long day, can kick it there and get a beer or a stiff drink. Next, the humidor is adequate and has a great selection. The shop is clean (I happened to catch Ivan, mopping) and appears to be welcoming to all smoke brothers and sisters. Will come back and sit a spell, next time. read more

Went by there to meet up some friends. They have a good selection of smokes and the guy there ahmed was pretty chill. I ended u scoring a Traviata, something I hadn't smoked in awhile. Their prices as most have mentioned are higher then most other shops but rents gotta be pretty high. read more

I asked if this was it and why is there a 30% markup? He never did recommend anything nor did he know anything about cigars.
