But I work in Frisco, and don't live anywhere near Retro anymore; figured I'd stop in. Retro does has a bigger selection (and more square footage in general), but this place is much more convenient for me, overall quality seems quite a bit better, and the prices appear to be similar. They also seem to focus on glass, though they do have a reasonable selection of alternatives. The store also feels a bit more open compared to Retro, or even some Gas Pipe locations, despite its relatively small size. I purchased a glass item today, very similar to one I purchased from Retro several years ago in design and size (only real difference is the color), for about what I paid at Retro. If anything, what I got today is a bit more hefty. Not sure who the blower was, but they did a great job. I didn't expect to find this in Frisco; it was a pretty random (and much welcomed) discovery on my way home from work. The one staff member I dealt with in the store was friendly and knowledgeable, and as soon as I finished telling her my price point and what I wanted, she had lead me to a shelf full of exactly what I was looking for. Also showed me which replacement parts I'll likely need in the future, along with pricing for them. All in all, reasonable pricing for a local shop, good selection of good glass (I didn't see any super flimsy super cheap stuff), modest selection of really high end stuff, friendly staff. I'd like to see maybe a bit more clothes. I didn't look around the front enough to see how much they had in terms of body jewelry, but if they don't have much, it'd be nice to get more.

I had what I wanted and was ready to check out. She checks out the first group and I step up to the register with the product I've had the entire time in hand. Instead of checking me out, she says "I have to help people in the order they walk in and they were first..." Mind you, I walked in at the same time and was ready to check out by the register. The other people were still unsure and on the other side of the store, so she decides to walk away from a sale and I took my business elsewhere due to time constraints. Due to this experience, previous experiences with poor wait time, and product pricing I'd recommend taking your business to a nearby vape shop instead.

As a business, there is a point where you throw your return policy out the window and use common sense. I sold a product that stopped working, it's leaking, and it's 3 days later. And the damn thing is full. This is when you say, I am going to replace it and then deal with my vendor or distributor. $2000 in lost revenue is the prize for the amazing smoke shop!
