Great little spot for a cigar and winding down. Service was great, not pushy. Comfortable seating, good cigar selection.

Big comfy chairs and couches, and plenty of space at the bar to sit too. Big selection of cigars, unfortunately they were waiting on a restock when we visited but that's a great excuse to have to make a return visit lol. The bartender Abby was so sweet and helpful. We will be back soon!

From the moment…read moreI stepped in, the atmosphere struck me as both luxurious and welcoming -- cozy leather seating, ambient lighting, marble accents at the bar, and multiple big-screen TVs made it the perfect spot to relax, socialize, or unwind. What really stood out was their outstanding selection of premium whiskeys and cigars -- truly curated and high quality. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help pair the perfect drink and cigar combination. Their walk-in humidor is impressive, and the fact that they host regular events (Trivia Night, Poker Night, Cigar Club, etc.) gives the place a strong sense of community and personality. ashandbarreltx.com I also appreciate that they offer a VIP membership with benefits like discounted prices, locker storage for your favorite cigars, and entry into special raffles -- a nice touch for regulars. ashandbarreltx.com If you're looking for a refined yet approachable lounge to enjoy premium cigars and whiskeys (or just a relaxing evening), Ash & Barrel is absolutely worth a visit. I'll certainly be going back.

She wanted to recreate a Mezcal drink that was phenomenal at Old Hickory in Gaylord hotel. From our description, the bartender tried her best to duplicate what we had. She came close, and we appreciated the effort, but we will have to return to Old Hickory to have it again. But the Mezcal drinks we had at Whiskey Moon were very good and we enjoyed them as a nightcap. The bar is located in the lounge of the Renaissance hotel. It is laid out nicely so there is ample seating at the bar or in the lounge. Service was friendly and professional. It's a bit pricey but I guess that is what vacations are for.

From the moment I walked in, Jasmine and Henry delivered exceptional service. Their friendly conversation, great sense of humor, and genuine hospitality made me feel welcome and comfortable right away. What stood out most was how they treated me, not like just another customer running up a tab, but like a valued regular, even though it was my first visit. That level of personal attention is rare and deserves recognition. Jasmine and Henry truly elevated the experience, and they are a big reason I'll be coming back.

About: Red Phone Booth, founded in Atlanta in 2020 by…read moreStephen de Haan in partnership with actor and whiskey and cigar enthusiast Michael Cudlitz , opened its first Texas location in The Colony, Dallas, in 2023, celebrating three years since its inception. The venue is designed to resemble a Prohibition-era speakeasy, with an entrance accessible through a rotary phone inside a red telephone booth (which actually works!). Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. Cocktails and friendly service was provided by Emma and Kyle, their services were a nod to Bob Ruede, RPB's renowned Intoxicologist, along with other award-winning bartenders recognized for their excellence in service and hospitality. Eric, the Cigar Attendant, is knowledgeable about how to properly enjoy an exceptional cigar experience. The Mafia Room is an exclusive space perfect for guys' and girls' nights, intimate events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. While Red Phone Booth offers exclusive membership tiers with premium perks, you don't need to be a member to enjoy the Prohibition experience. The servers and food…read moreare good, but we have had some recent issues as a result of the new general manager, who is very sloppy and unqualified at his job, which is why we left upset and took our business elsewhere the other day. We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.
