Great place! We loved the wine and the atmosphere. The people were wonderful! The ladies behind the bar have great suggestions even for a newbie wine drinker and an experienced wine drinker.

Excellent wine selections and good food as well! Fun place to hang out! Just about any wine you can think of, they probably have it.

I visited on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with my parents and sister. (Side note for Dallas residents: If you're familiar with the Katy Trail, it's worth the drive to see where it all began. When the Katy railroad tracks were removed in Dallas, the trail was born. While Denison doesn't have a trail today, the original depot remains, and it's a lovely place to explore.) The atmosphere at Stafford House is calm and refined, with deep burgundy tones, and brown leather accents lending it a warm, intimate feel. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We started with the steak carpaccio appetizer, which was savory and full of flavor. For dinner, the ladies each had the Airline chicken with mushroom risotto, while my father and I ordered the lamb T-bones. I swapped the vegetable medley for sweet potato grits, which were decent but lacked any noticeable sweet potato flavor. Definitely put Stafford House on your must-visit list. It's a beautiful little spot for a quiet, intimate dinner. And don't miss their adjacent bar--it's equally charming and perfect for a pre- or post-dinner cocktai

I asked for extra bread so I could taste more of the sauce after the vegetables were gone, ha! And by coincidence, the 3 vegetables tapas were what the waiter recommended. Food I tried Roasted cauliflower with green goddess - best sauce imo I couldn't get enough of how flavorful and buttery(?) it was. Really liked the texture contrast too, I'll get this again Asparagus with pistachio pesto - the in house made pesto fell off the asparagus easily and there was a bed of it underneath. I ended up putting them on the bread too, haha Chicken thigh with aji verde - this is a must get no matter what, incredibly fresh chicken I would have every day if I could. But alas, I don't live near here. Broccolini with lemon garlic - the orange sauce was also delicious but not as amazing as the others. I would still get this again though! Olive oil cake with sea salt - they flip the olive oil cake several times so the apricot syrup permeates. This time it was a little dry in some areas and too moist in some, so it was different than last time. But this is what you want to take your dining experience home with you Potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce - nice and crispy and the mayo has sherry vinaigrette during the emulsion process which was a nice kick

Couple the ambiance with the outstanding service and the tasty food and it's easy to see why this is one of my favorite places to go to. Today, had the 2 dips board, prohibition chicken, and Juan's tostada. The 2 dips board is a nice veggie board with hummus and tzatziki. Prohibition chicken is deliciously seasoned fired chicken. The tostada was the biggest pleasant surprise of the group. So many flavors dancing on the tongue with each bite. Strongly recommend coming out to this place!

I was surprised, but they offer Happy Hour even on weekends! Both my hubby and I chose from the Happy Hour menu - a Pinot Noir for him and the Chardonnay for me. I was bummed, the Chard wasn't great and I wasn't planning on having more than a glass. Next time I'd skip the Happy Hour wines and just choose a better wine off the menu. Food. We came here for date night and I was starving. I was surprised to see such a small and limited menu. I think they're limiting themselves by only offering sharable items or single items at such a steep price. I started with Juan's Tostada for myself and my hubby chose the Notorious P.I.G.. The tostada was delicious! Fresh and tasty, but I was still hungry. But for $19 there was no way I was ordering another one. I'm sorry but $40 for two single appetizers is insane, plus I figured I might still be hungry. So instead I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. with no cheese (I'm dairy free). It was good, but not amazing. Half the pizza was burned and the sauce was barely there. As I looked around there was a group of women having a birthday dinner and one other couple who arrived on a date. The couple split a meat + cheese board and left. The birthday party nursed their glasses of wine the entire time we were there. For my disappointment wine, my hubby's two glasses of wine, our two pizzas and my tostada we spent $87 before tip. For a mediocre offering that was insanely expensive. My girlfriends meet up frequently to catch up and I would suggest this place if it was half the cost, but we can go to plenty of places nearby and get a better glass of wine with more affordable food options instead. I don't forsee Wine a Little lasting long in this new development.

We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go!
