This is a precious little gift shop/winery in broken bow, and is 100% catered towards girls weekends and bachelorette trips. It's cute and fun, but I personally wasn't a fan of the wine. We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go! read more

1. The wine. It all tasted VERY watered down in the tasting, I don't know if they do that or if the wine is just, not good, but it was not fantastic. There was a few I liked and a few I'd never touch again. 2. The Service. Everyone was very nice, our server sort of had an attitude. My friends told her they'd like to wait for me (the bride of the Bach group) and she continued to start serving them. I had chosen the sweet tasting and then my friends said I could try theirs so I changed to the dry (keep in mind I had not switched at all, and the first two wines are the EXACT same thing) and when I told her I'd like to switch she said "alright well this needs to be the last time you switch" as if I did it before. She was nice the rest of the time it was just kind of odd? 3. Prices were decent for the wine but the charcuterie prices are kind of crazy. It was like $45 or something like that for a board the size of my hand and a half. Just wasn't impressed with that I LOVED the shop, the other staff was wonderful and she was very kind after that. Was SO excited to go here! Scheduled a free wine tasting about a month in advance. Which was totally not necessary because they are efficient and can get you in same day. They are quick paced tastings but awesome because you get to try them all then choose which glass you would like (which you get to take home!) The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed shopping around the store while I waited to do the tasting. I ended up having the wine a Rita which was perfect even in the cold weather! read more

My bachelorette group had a good experience but when I went to get our complimentary wine glasses wrapped I had a different experience. I got 3 out of 16 glasses wrapped so the bride had some as memorabilia and one of the girls said 'have a great night' and I replied 'likewise', as I walked away the girl also at the counter mocked my voice trying to make fun of me. I'd love to give grace but people like that should not be on hospitality in anyway. read more

What a cute place. They have several rooms full of unique souvenirs and wine themed merchandise. Many of the items are pricy. They have two photo ops areas setup, 1 which includes free photos. We enjoyed the free wine tasting. They have 3 tasting options for the dry, white and sweet drinkers. A fun spot to visit while in Hochatown! The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable, the gift shop is fun to look around, and I love the outdoor seating on a nice day. I am more of a dry wine drinker and most of theirs are on the sweeter side to me, but I still really enjoyed the tasting and went home with a bottle. Several years back this was a neat place to have a local wine tasting and a fun time. I know as things get bigger, efficiency becomes important to get more customers through and collect more profit. The non-VIP tasting now is a VERY quick 15 minutes and basically equates to doing wine shots as you are rushed through to get the next group in. I'm sure for some customers this is just fine, but it is not what I will be back for. The wines are not bad, so if you want a glass, it's ok. Skip the tasting. read more

Found this on our weekend get away. Really cool place to shop for wine gadgets, gifts and of course wine. We worked our way to back area and a lady asked if we wanted to do a free wine tasting. No one else around so we did it. Lady was super nice and explained the difference. We are the light sweet wine drinkers. When I saw the pre made frozen, I had to have a glass. What a fun place! Visiting Broken Bow for a 40th birthday weekend and we knew Girls Gone Wine was on our "MUST TRY" list. We are so glad we did! The tasting was fun, light-hearted and knowledgeable. No wine snobs here! All four of us loved the win-a-rita and grabbed one for the patio. We sat on the patio with snacks for a couple hours laughing and chatting. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and had us laughing more than once. After enjoying our tasting and chat time on the patio we spent a good hour perusing the gift shop they have. My friend and I were excited to try this place after reading about it online and seeing the crowds. The first thing you see when you come into the building is the cute gift shop. Lots of odds and ends, kitchy signs, etc. When we made it to the tasting area, it was complete chaos. The poor lady taking names for the wait list was frazzled and overwhelmed. She kept getting distracted. We finally decided to forgo the free tasting and went to the patio bar. This was the best decision. You can get a tasting of 4 different wines plus a full pour in a keepsake glass for only $11. There were two floors and space heaters to keep us warm. One negative is they allow people to smoke. The other negative is the pitiful charcuterie plate we spent nearly $30 on. Those are the reasons I can't give more stars. The wine was ok. The special Valentines wine was yummy. You have absolutely no reason to not stop by the Girls Gone Wine shop if you are in the area. The main reason being: they give you a free wine tasting! Who could turn that down? I'm not a fan of wine at all, but even I was impressed with their wines! You choose from two menus: sweet or dry. I chose the sweet and thought all but one of the wines were delicious. After the tasting, you can buy a glass. At $11 it's a bit more than I would like to have paid but you get to keep the glass as a souvenir. They are also known for their great wine-margaritas. I never tried anything like this before and it's great. They have soo many options you'll be choosing for a while. They have a small selection on tap you can drink right away but most are frozen to-go containers. There's an adorable covered patio out back where you can sit and enjoy your drink. And let's not forget the gift shop. Lots of kitschy wine-related gifts to bring home to your friends. There's a complimentary photo booth and you get emailed your pictures. We reserved a free tasting online. We came in 10 minutes early and the hostess said "oh I didn't think you were coming". Which was odd cause we were 10 minutes early, but she got us "worked in". It was pretty short. Don't expect too much there. I'm interested to see what the longer VIP tasting is like. I hope to do so in a few months with a group of gals.
