Pressa is the shining star of Broken Bow dining. Honestly, it would be a hit in almost any neighborhood in Dallas. The space is enchanting, with huge windows and an atmosphere that feels like magnolia-meets-Italian chic--relaxed, stylish, and welcoming. The ambiance alone makes it feel like a destination. Drinks and appetizers or dinner with the family. The menu is relatively short, which I appreciate. I like to see a focused menu done well than a long list of mediocre options. Everything about this restaurant feels intentional. The Caesar salad was great--balanced and not overly anchovy-heavy. The bruschetta came with four large pieces topped with the perfect amount of tomatoes, olive oil, and balsamic. Simple, done beautifully and delicious. The wine list is solid and fits the menu well. This is definitely a higher-end dinner spot, with the filet priced around $55. There's no kids' menu, but thankfully my picky crew loved the pizza--crust included, which says a lot. Reservations recommended!

This restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and the decor is quite beautiful. Whoever designed this restaurant has spectacular taste and you can tell that every item was placed with purpose. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was fairly empty for lunch on a weekday. We were seated promptly and served efficiently. The Brussel sprouts were seasoned well and the tiny peppers made it seem very high end and sophisticated. The pizza had great toppings however the crust could have been more chewy and had more developed flavor. You can definitely tell that this restaurant uses high quality ingredients, but they could definitely improve the pizza dough. My diagnosis: gorgeous decor with great Italian food overall.

Pressa Italia was absolutely spectacular. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but this is classy Italian dining and the quality absolutely backs it up. The ambiance is adorable and genuinely makes you feel like you've stepped into a little spot in Italy--warm, charming, and thoughtfully designed. The service was also top-notch from start to finish: attentive, friendly, and well-paced. Every dish we tried was delicious, with generous portions across the board. The pizza was a standout--perfectly chewy crust and well-seasoned. The La Carne is a must for meat lovers. And while I'm usually not a goat cheese fan, the Miele Caldo pizza completely changed my mind. So good. The Brussels sprouts were incredibly flavorful and impressively crispy. Honestly, everything we ordered was a hit. We went for weekday lunch, had no wait, plenty of seating, and easy parking. For 11 people, our total after tax and tip was around $250, which felt very reasonable for a high-end brunch-style Italian meal. If you're in Broken Bow / Hochatown and want elevated Italian food with great vibes and service, Pressa Italia is absolutely worth it! Check it out!

Finally, a higher end restaurant in the Broken Bow area without the business formal attire requirement. After spending days cooking out at the rental cabin, I was excited to learn about this place for a nice night out. Reservations: Recommended via Resy online Location: Right off the main highway (259) between Hochatown and Broken Bow closer to south end of Hochatown. It's in the new Hochabow shopping center with ample parking. Wine selection is great for its size. For example, their Cabernet by the glass is the deliciously smooth DAOU and that's what Ruth's Chris sells as well except Pressa's price was $4 less. They have a wall of various wine selections you can easily look at too. Expresso martini was delicious; add Baileys as that makes it smoother. The food was all delicious with ample portions: - Caesar salad (not a strong anchovies flavor) - Bruschetta - Focaccia bread and olive oil, balsamic, garlic butter - Fettuccini alfredo with crusted chicken on top - Brussel sprouts (with that salty flash fried taste like high end steakhouses make them) - Mushrooms (thick pieces) Our waitress was super nice. Service wasn't fast, but we wanted to take our time and relax. The inside is super cute and the private unisex bathroom was nice and clean as well. This is a must visit place when in Broken Bow. I wore athletic gear and a hat inside, so go enjoy a nice dinner without having to dress up!

This spot was a real surprise. The signage on the building is pretty misleading. You'd never guess there's an Italian restaurant and a few cute little shops tucked into this parking lot/complex (the first few times we passed it - I honestly though it was a winery or and office park). I only found it thanks to Yelp, and I'm glad I did. Honestly, this town could use a few more places like this. It's a refreshing step up from all the bar food and corn dog joints we kept driving past. We weren't super hungry, so we decided to split the meatball appetizer and the bowtie pasta Salsiccia. The meatballs were large, tender, and flavorful, a pretty solid start. The pasta dish featured mushrooms and sausage, and not just any sausage -- the good kind, decased and crumbled, not sliced. The sauce was subtle, and while it wasn't the best pasta I've ever had, it's definitely some of the best food we've had in the area. Our waitress, Alicia, was an absolute gem, she was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were there on the early side for dinner, and it wasn't too crowded. I hope it gets busier and really thrives, because it's a little gem that deserves to stick around. I would have loved to have tried one of the pizzas!

We only came for dessert as we heard they had great dessert and ended up wishing we came for dinner too. The dessert board was delicious though, our server was very nice and helpful, and the environment was casual yet elegant. Will be definitely be returning next time we're in town.

We noticed this was a new place we often visit broken bow. We ordered the lasagna. The taste wasn't bad just over loaded with cheese. I couldn't find the noodles or meat because there was sooo much cheese. The bruschetta we ordered for an app looks good, but the flavors don't meld well together. There was like pico all over the top with onions. It just tasted odd. We would like to order something different next time to see if maybe the lasagna was just off that night. The ambience is cute simple, but romantic. I think the area is still under renovation, and more shops are opening up soon. The courtyard looks like it's going to be pretty. They have a fireplace, and a fountain in the middle. Don't forget to stop at the chocolate shop next door sooo good!

This place was so yummy! We had the bruschetta and such a great start to the meal. Then got Brussel Sprouts, pizza and fettuccine already. It was crispy and such a good flavor.

Just got home at 8pm, not late. It's the weekday, we understand you want to be home but to be basically kicked out at 8pm makes me reconsider going back. Floors needed to be redone, we get that; stacking metal chairs when we just got our food, unescapable. I am not your manager, I am not your owner but you should know better, you make the entire staff look bad. Not the front of the house people doing this, but obviously the back staff that want to get home... you are hurting this business. Food was great, wine was good, Jayden was Amazing. She won't be there long, she's too beautiful and undiscovered.

Second visit started a little rough but finished strong. I called to confirm they were open since it is about 85 miles from home. Young lady answered and confirmed they were open until 9pm and absolutely no need for a reservation. Arrived at 4:15, to celebrate my birthday dinner to find they close for a lunch to dinner change from 4-5. Hmm open until 9 except... well no big deal at all as we drove around and shopped a bit. Came back just before 5 and they were madly scrambling to seat a large party and the 5 other walk ins they got because "no reservations" needed. They had 7pm reservations needing the tables and it was a bit concerning for a while and we were sat eventually but they did turn others away. They have to get this figured out but otherwise our second visit was just as spectacular. The food is exceptional, authentic and portions are enormous. We started with the calamari and the homemade marinara was perfectly seasoned and the calamari was very lightly breaded to perfection. Our pastas were so good we shared 50/50 and enjoyed both! They surprised us with a dessert for my birthday and we chose the Cannelloni which was really rich and lovely. Service was great, only odd thing was "keep your fork" was requested by the server between courses. We will be back again for sure. Making a reservation next time.

Charcuterie Board - so good and entirely gluten free. And OMG that orange Calabrian chili jam is amazing!!

Really loved this spot!! Our server, Veronica, was wonderful and so knowledgeable. My daughter has celiac disease so she has to eat gluten free AND there cannot be any cross contamination. We called the day before to understand what precautions they take and spoke to Veronica and then requested her as our server the next day. They have a separate area of the kitchen where they prepare their GF items and pasta is boiled in water separate from the gluten pasta. Started with the charcuterie board which had all GF items AND they provided GF crackers! Then my daughter had their GF Margherita pizza which was so good (she generally prefers a more crispy crust and this was a bit softer). She also got their GF fettuccine in a red sauce with some chicken and it was so tasty! I got the Diavolo pizza (not gluten free) and it was so good but do wish the crust had been thinner. And we topped the meal with a GF chocolate torte! All of our non GF family members also enjoyed all of our food so we loved our experience and would definitely be back!

    Can't just try one.

Quick stop after lunch next door for a sweet tooth fix. Large selection of hand made chocolates and treats. They also have sugar free options. Cannot say they are calorie free. :) Friendly staff

What a neat little find in Broken Bow! Natalie & her husband have truly outdone themselves with their staff and delivering food that just speaks for itself. If you get a chance to visit the area and enjoy Italian food, I highly recommend Pressa!! A huge shout out to Liz behind the bar; she's engaging with her guests, well-versed in knowing the menu. We cannot wait to visit again!

We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go!

It was a VERY chilly but sunny day so the mulled wine sounded great to me. I only sampled the blueberry, and this one and decided it was perfect. We were nearly done with our drinks when our food came out, and we nearly ordered more but we were trying to pack as much as we could into a Saturday and a ton of these places close super early so it was time to move along. The charcuterie board had some excellent selections and was more than enough for 4 of us, but I will say maybe preserves or mustard or honey might be nice. Some kinda sauce... The staff was so sweet and hospitable. I've been to Hochatown countless times and hadn't stopped in here before and would be happy to go back.

Maybe we had unrealistic expectations being out-of-towners, but we were disappointed. The wine is very lacking. We learned from a couple locals after this experience that majority of the local "wineries" use a grape concentrate, likely from California, to create their own wines. I definitely think this shows in quality and overall taste, but the prices are very reasonable.
