It was super busy but we were sat almost immediately. Ordered a beer and for entree had the loaded baked potato and okra. It was overall ok but pricing was pretty high. I assume it's just that area in general but portions fairly small for what you paid. It was clean inside and definitely a busy spot so maybe i just ordered the wrong thing. This place was alright for a casino restaurant. It was pretty dead inside when we went but it was the off season. We were promptly waited on and had drinks in no time. We ordered the fry bread and a Caesar salad. The fry bread was pretty tasty. It really gave off taco bell chalupa vibes. It was messy to eat, but well worth it. I opted for a side of collard greens. These were fine. Well cooked and seasoned but nothing to go out of your way for. My wife's salad was good but not great. The dressing didn't have much going on but the croutons were good. Tuklo Grill - Choctaw Casino Review We arrived at Tuklo Grill a little before 7 p.m. and were told there would be about a 35-minute wait. That wouldn't have been too bad, except that when we walked over to the bar area, nearly all the tables there were empty -- which made the wait feel unnecessary. The restaurant itself is very aesthetically pleasing, with modern décor, stylish light fixtures, a beautiful mural, and a striking accent wall. There were a few large parties dining that evening, which may have contributed to the delay, but the seating process was frustrating. When I checked in, I specifically requested a booth and was told they were unavailable. However, as we waited, I noticed at least four booths sitting empty -- and to top it off, the next group seated after us was placed in a booth. Once we were finally seated, things started to look up. Our server, Alex, was an absolute delight -- friendly, professional, and attentive. She did an amazing job and really tried to make our experience better. I ordered the salmon with cheese grits, and it was excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, and the grits were creamy and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the pork chops, which Alex described as "memorable," and she was right -- they were ginormous and cooked beautifully. We did share our frustrations with Alex about the long wait and booth situation, and she handled it with grace. She immediately sent the manager over to speak with us. Unfortunately, that interaction made things worse. The manager was confrontational, didn't seem to hear a single thing I said, and actually tried to argue with me. Being from the service industry myself, I found that completely unacceptable. Instead of trying to make the situation better, she only agitated it further. Overall, Tuklo Grill has a lot going for it -- it's a beautiful space with a great server like Alex and some well-prepared dishes. But the poor management interaction, disorganized seating, and uneven service really took away from what could have been a wonderful experience. read more

Daaaaaaamn!!!! Can someone say incredible pancakes?? We decided to take a break from the casino floor at Choctaw Landing for some breakfast and I am so glad we did. These pancakes are world-class. People usually talk about 'fluffy' pancakes, but these actually had a perfect, satisfying density to them which is exactly how I love them! They were so great to sink your teeth into. Wow! Wow! Wow! You can walk in sit down and you're just sitting there forever and somebody tells you you gotta go to the register desk and they'll serve you after they see you, we've been here for 1520 minutes already and we don't have even water on our table. It's ridiculous. They need a waitress and a bartender. Oh, we were just told that there's not a bartender it is 2 o'clock on a Thursday. Why would the bar be open? Look, it's a casino - but I am at an impasse because it's new. The overall ambiance is a casino restaurant - very bright, not intimate, but clean (hospital clean). Britney, our bartender, is sweet and attentive. The food... let's say it's good. (That's all I got.) The Caesar dressing is not very flavorful. The lettuce was clean and green (my preference is green romaine - not the yellowish stalk). The salmon was cooked well (still moist) tho cooked a lil too much. The chicken for the Caesar is not described as fried, but it is. It was seasoned better than my salmon. Their cornbread croutons... missing something... The atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. With the World Cup on, peak summer crowds, and a girls' national softball tournament happening in town, the restaurant was extremely busy and unfortunately appeared to be significantly understaffed. The food was decent and the drinks were good. We sat at the bar, where Sarah was the only bartender working. Despite the overwhelming volume of customers, Sarah did an excellent job and worked hard to get drinks out as efficiently as possible. Her professionalism and effort did not go unnoticed. We were there for a little over two hours before management eventually stepped in to assist behind the bar. Kudos to Sarah for handling a challenging situation so well. Hopefully, management will take steps to better staff and support their team during high-traffic events, which would greatly improve the experience for both employees and customers. read more

Came here around 4pm to have any early dinner with my husband using food comps. They started the meal with complimentary biscuits which were tasty and helped tide us over while we waited. For meals, husband got the brisket sandwich which seemed like a very reasonable price ($16) for a massive amount of brisket on a potato bun with a side. He really enjoyed this. However, when it came out it wasn't warm. Pretty sure it was sitting and waiting for my order of the Fisherman's Grand Slam ($35). The fisherman's grand slam could have been great... the shrimp were well cooked and my favorite part. Then I took a bite of the trout and it was fishy and immediately turned me off to the rest of the meal. Our server didn't check in until he wanted to bring the check so I didn't bother saying anything. Between the shrimp, fries and some of my husband's brisket I had more than enough food. But I want to make sure other people don't waste the $35 like I did. Go for just the shrimp if you're wanting seafood. Prices were mostly very reasonable and the interior was nicely done. After many of drinks and slots Harrington was our server the first day and so nice we specifically asked for him the second day! The restaurant is a great looking space and the food is fine. We had dinner one night and it was okay. We had breakfast a couple of days later and was served a cold breakfast. Found the waitress and asked to have it remade due to being cold. Manager came by 10 minutes later and said she would check on it. Never came back. Ten more minutes and waitress tells me they have to make everyone else's food before remaking mine. I told her that is crazy and it was the last time I saw her. Other members of my party had been finished for 20 minutes and I never got any food or even had my coffee warmed up. Extremely poor service and a joke of a manager. It is sad because it left a bad taste of the hotel for me which otherwise was a great experience. They really need to do some training for the staff, worse service I've ever had. read more

Carmen was the manager when we tried to eat there and we were told 15 minutes then 30. I am not exaggerating that a 1/4 of the restaurant was full. I get being understaffed, but come on, you should be prepared to have staff for 1/2 your restaurant. We ate there the day before and the food (shrimp appetizer and salads were really good). I came to this restaurant looking for hope in this flavorless town, but once again my tastebuds were left wishing I would have just ate a frozen pizza for dinner instead of paying $60 for a dinner I could have received at the local prison. I ordered the fisherman's grand slam which was not false advertisement, it slammed my stomach harder than any other meal in this town. First bite the taste of river water and salt filled my mouth, followed by the texture of slime coated in sand. I quickly rushed to wash the taste out of my mouth with water to realize I had no water because I had not gotten a refill in 30 minutes. I knew it was a risky move ordering fish at an establishment like this, and I should not have done it. If you travel here, cook at your cabin, do not look for good food in this town because you will not find it. This place does not have a good restaurant in a 30 radius.
