We were staying really close by and had driven by but were on our way to eat elsewhere. When three other spots fell threw we figured we had no other choice but to check out Naaaman's. The outside does not do the food justice. It's a humble spot with lots of tables, both long and short, high or low and you order at the counter. The service is top notch with knowledgable staff (food restrictions), big smiles and a lot of kindness. We ordered; 2 Brisket sandwiches - meat piled high and super fresh. Even the bun was incredibly fresh and tasty! 2 slider plates- chicken and pulled pork. Both were seasoned to perfection, tender and fresh. The rolls were just as good as the full size buns A Meat Plate with Pulled Pork - absolutely delectable. Sides of Adult Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, Cheesy Corn. Oh my gosh they were all amazing. The Adult Mac & Cheese was licked clean from the bowl. The Green Beans had a spice to them that had me drinking the juice they came in and the Cheese Corn was a hit! It felt like a community. We got to meet the owner. He is a winner of the cooking tv show Chopped. A very nice, humble man who loves what he does. I'm a fan of chopped and have been since I was a little kid, so it was very cool to me to meet and talk to him. He gave us his Apple Cobbler Burnt Ends for free.
