    Pancakes (HUGE!)
    Ellie W.

Your typical American diner. Nothing to write home about. It is subpar at most but was fuel before a hike. I love pancakes and was quite disappointed in these despite the yummy thoughts of a cinnamon roll flapjack. The portions are large and plenty of food. Our favorite thing we ordered were the biscuits and gravy. DO highly recommend getting a biscuit with your order.

Service was great super friendly. Food was delicious fresh and you are deff getting your money's worth. Food is in large portions all around. Definitely a nice place to stop by and eat, super satisfied!

Great little hole in the wall spot. Easily overlooked by tourists in this touristy place. Don't sleep on this place! Onion rings are on point! Barely holding together long enough to crumble in your mouth. Sweet onion used so it melts in your mouth. The steak finger bites! WOW! They took a steak, sliced it up breaded it and fried it! And gravy doesn't overpower it! The fried green beans are frozen, but still seasoned and fried well. Tots were tasty. Overall a good experience. Workers are kind and not in your face, but there for good service!

Came on a sunday, service was fine. Appetizers (fried mushrooms, green tomatoes, mushrooms) were good. The rest of our meal... 50 minute wait. we got fried shrimp, a few burgers, chicken nuggets. Burger meat was dry and unseasoned. I work in a burger restaurant with similar menu items and the 50 minute wait is crazy. No clue what could make it take so long. Certified mid. I pray for the rest of broken bow oklahoma if this is the best burger in town

Diets don't count here! My husband has been going here for 30 years during camping trips and this weekend we finally went together. And it did not disappoint!! The food is delicious, the service was super fast and the setting was clean and on brand for Broken Bow!

They serve only breakfast all day on Sunday, closing at 2. Small place so had to wait for table to be cleaned. Service was extremely slow. We ordered French Toast And western omelette that came with potatoes and biscuit n gravy. The French toast was heavy with center gummy. Probably the worst I have had. Omelet was ok, potatoes not good. Biscuit n gravy just ok. We had been there almost 30 minutes before eating. Not sure what happened with our order but we will not return in future. I have now changed my thinking that you can't mess up breakfast.

My SAD $13 plate GRITS HORRIBLE!!!!

We came on Sunday expecting a hardy breakfast as we were driving out of town. But it wasn't anything we thought it would be. I guess this is what I get when I let my friends pick the place LOL We all ordered a variety of things/ they don't do substitution. So because I didn't want meat on my breakfast plate- I had to order eggs, grits and potatoes separately à la cart. Which made my simply breakfast $13 instead of $8.50 they charge for the breakfast plate which was eggs, toast, potatoes and sausage/bacon. So you will get punish here if you don't eat meat! The grits were nasty!!! We all joked that our KIDS can cook better grits than what we were served. Their pancakes seems to be a popular item so my friend ordered some... and when she asked for some syrup to go with the hot pancakes, she was giving Cold syrup.... The eggs were small and OK. They ran out of fried green tomatoes... I mean I will not be back. Go else where for breakfast!!!

Great breakfast place. Hubby and I got out one morning on our vacay. We both got omelets. Decently priced and friendly service.

They stayed on top of the water refills and I appreciated the vat (I'm kidding) I mean the squeeze bottle of ranch dressing (yes, I am one of those people.) The fries had the peels on which I love and they were pretty tasty. I had the mushroom bacon swiss burger and my hubby had the classic burger without cheese. Both burgers were good. He ordered onion rings and those were a big hit. I would also note that the onions rings appeared beer battered and a bit more cakey with a smoother finish than ones with flour breading. That is a personal preference for some. They were very good. I love love love the atmosphere here. It has such a nice patio atmosphere and there were lots of families and couples dining al fresco. We would definitely return. It is so nice to sit outside here.

We also tried the brisket queso, which had good flavor, but we had to ask for it to be reheated. Service was friendly and the spot has an easygoing vibe if you're looking for somewhere casual to grab a meal.

Right off the bat, their draft beer machine wasn't working, so we stuck with water and a soda. After being seated, there was a noticeable delay before our waitress came back. She explained she was dealing with an issue on another customer's credit card, which slowed things down. We started with the fried pickles. They were very good. Crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked right, but the portion felt a little light for an appetizer. For the main, we shared the Oklahoma country fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. That was the highlight. The steak had a solid crust with good flavor, and everything on the plate was done right. No complaints there. Overall, the food was strong, especially the country fried steak, but the service and the draft beer situation held it back some. If they tighten that up, it'd be a much better experience.

The drinks were okay and very average - it wouldn't keep us away or bring us back! As an appetizer, we had the fried Swiss cheese. It was definitely different and interesting in comparison to your mozzarella, but it was cool to try! I wouldn't reorder. My husband had a 8oz. Sirloin with a side of corn and I had the chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders were delicious, but the frozen crinkle cut fries dampened the whole meal - for almost $20 for chicken tenders, I would've loved some house made or hand battered fries! The rolls with each meal were good, but could've used some butter! The steak was well cooked and the corn had good flavor! Everything was mediocre overall, we would likely come back on account of the chicken tenders, but wouldn't run back for anything else.

To start we got the fried mushrooms, they were hot and fresh and delicious! Not too overly bartered and super juicy.
