The bathrooms were clean and well appointed. They were busy, as it was lunch time, but had a decent amount of seating and the service was quick. The food was good and my coworkers commented the same. My one coworker really enjoyed their Rubin sandwich. The strawberry cake is possibly the best I've ever had. Their chocolate chip cookies were also very good. We got a BLT, Ruben and a club sandwich. Different breads were paired with each choice and perfectly toasted. They were stuffed and well balanced. All three were repeat items. They came with chips , a pickle and potato salad. I thought I had. Left of the potato salad because it is an item that is usually a disappointment when eating out. Not today. This was one of most memorable potato salad in a long time -it does have some onion it and delicious. Also the pickle was crisp and a step up for what you normally find. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a nice lunch here.

On my way back home today from Mena one of my aunts, who is 84 and I, who am 81 stopped in DeQueen at the McDonald's there and the food and service was good. However, I was pleasantly surprised as we were leaving when I was leading my blind aunt to the car with our drinks in my hand and the manager noticed us and came to help me with the door. She made sure we got to the car and my aunt was safely in. I was going back to get us an ice cream cone and she quickly took care of getting it for me. I have worked in the food industry for over 40 years and in todays world, for someone to take the time from their busy schedule to show such an act of kindness is very rare. I felt that this should be made known to the owners or upper managment because I am still working in a corporate office for a major franchise chain and deal with customer refunds and complaints as needed and wanted to praise your manager in DeQueen for going the extra mile to help a customer. She displayed the golden rule very well,"Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you" Paula D.
