On my way back home today from Mena one of my aunts, who is 84 and I, who am 81 stopped in DeQueen at the McDonald's there and the food and service was good. However, I was pleasantly surprised as we were leaving when I was leading my blind aunt to the car with our drinks in my hand and the manager noticed us and came to help me with the door. She made sure we got to the car and my aunt was safely in. I was going back to get us an ice cream cone and she quickly took care of getting it for me. I have worked in the food industry for over 40 years and in todays world, for someone to take the time from their busy schedule to show such an act of kindness is very rare. I felt that this should be made known to the owners or upper managment because I am still working in a corporate office for a major franchise chain and deal with customer refunds and complaints as needed and wanted to praise your manager in DeQueen for going the extra mile to help a customer. She displayed the golden rule very well,"Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you" Paula D.

He ordered onion rings and those were a big hit. I would also note that the onions rings appeared beer battered and a bit more cakey with a smoother finish than ones with flour breading. That is a personal preference for some. They were very good. I love love love the atmosphere here. It has such a nice patio atmosphere and there were lots of families and couples dining al fresco.
