The bathrooms were clean and well appointed. They were busy, as it was lunch time, but had a decent amount of seating and the service was quick. The food was good and my coworkers commented the same. My one coworker really enjoyed their Rubin sandwich. The strawberry cake is possibly the best I've ever had. Their chocolate chip cookies were also very good. I like a good chicken salad, and they did not disappoint. Also suggested this. We'll stop in again when come back this way.

She was so sweet & on top of it all, never had to ask for anything! Everything tasted great & seemed to be homemade! There's plenty of parking & also handicapped friendly. Bathrooms were also clean. On my way back home today from Mena one of my aunts, who is 84 and I, who am 81 stopped in DeQueen at the McDonald's there and the food and service was good. However, I was pleasantly surprised as we were leaving when I was leading my blind aunt to the car with our drinks in my hand and the manager noticed us and came to help me with the door. She made sure we got to the car and my aunt was safely in. I was going back to get us an ice cream cone and she quickly took care of getting it for me. I have worked in the food industry for over 40 years and in todays world, for someone to take the time from their busy schedule to show such an act of kindness is very rare. I felt that this should be made known to the owners or upper managment because I am still working in a corporate office for a major franchise chain and deal with customer refunds and complaints as needed and wanted to praise your manager in DeQueen for going the extra mile to help a customer. ALL the components of the cheese burger I ordered were sub-par! The burger patty was made from a frozen patty and was severely over cooked ... better to be used as a hockey puck! The sliced tomatoes were OLD and DETERIORATING! Really! Deteriorating, rotten tomatoes served in my burger! Once I saw the tomatoes, I wrote the burger off as food for my chickens. The lettuce was black and wilted ... it should be illegal to serve lettuce (and tomatoes) that should go into the compost pile. As for the pickles, I don't believe they qualify as being a true pickle ... the pickles in the burger was the lowest grade pickle I had ever seen or tasted. DISGUSTING! I also ordered "extra crispy tater-tots" which were UNDERCOOKED! They were so gross, I spit them into a napkin!
