A road trip prize! Passing through town and just wanted a bite but choices seemed limited. We settled on Stillwell's and it was definitely the right choice. We got a BLT, Ruben and a club sandwich. Different breads were paired with each choice and perfectly toasted. They were stuffed and well balanced. All three were repeat items. They came with chips , a pickle and potato salad. I thought I had. Left of the potato salad because it is an item that is usually a disappointment when eating out. Not today. This was one of most memorable potato salad in a long time -it does have some onion it and delicious. Also the pickle was crisp and a step up for what you normally find. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a nice lunch here. read more

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was a complete shocker for being in Dequeen! Classy classy classy is the motif I would say. This is our new go to place in DeQueen. We ordered the club sandwich and a cheeseburger. The food was fresh and made to ordered. The pickles were AMAZING! We asked and they make them there. My husband also had a cappuccino. He said it was better than Starbucks. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the exposed brick and the original tin ceiling tiles. read more

Great breakfast, lunch and coffee spot. We found this cute restaurant on the square in De Queen. Very nice decor, clean and neat. Friendly staff. We ate a taco salad and strawberry chicken salad both had generous meat portions . Also sampled their homemade pickles and rated them superb. Made from scratch desserts and pastries and an extensive coffee bar. We will make sure that our route to Fayetteville in the future guarantees that we stop here! read more

Wow. What a wonderful surprise in the small town of Dequeen. Stilwell's is a place that you'd expect to see in a much larger city. Exposed brick and industrial touches make the atmosphere feel very upscale without having upscale prices. The menu is amazing with paninis, salads, and incredible baked goods and desserts. Great place for Coffee in De Queen totally unexpected at best I thought there maybe a Starbucks lucky for my group there is not one. In downtown a nice little coffee shop across from the Court House. Decorated in a cool trendy it would be cool just to hang out kind of way. I think the have WIFI if you need it, I am not 100% on this statement, but I think I saw a sign. Good for breakfast sandwiches, pastries, coffee, quiche and lunch sandwiches. With my group after 2 stops I think we tried a little of everything and everyone was really happy with what we had for drinks and food. The lady helping us Friday morning was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed everything so much we had a group of about 12 for Saturday morning ready to go not knowing they did not open until 11. We were a little disappointed, but downtown looked deserted at 8 in the morning so it was understandable. Everyone help support this local establishment and keep Starbucks out! read more

In town on business and ordered a salad for lunch (to go). The salad had 4 components: greens, tomato, cheese and chicken. The chicken was cold, tough and dried out. I'm thinking it was left overs from yesterday. I'll eat fast food for lunch before I try this place again. Totally disappointed. read more

It being Labor Day you would think a restaurant/cafe might be open so all the people that are free to enjoy themselves might drop in get something to eat or drink or both. Spending their money at your business instead of being upset that they can't get away from the kitchen or just kick back in a relaxing atmosphere. This place must be run by business handicapped people trying to save money not paying their people holiday pay, but forgetting that the customer is who they are supposed to be thinking of, because the customer may forget to think about them the next time they plan to go out and enjoy a meal or a drink. read more
