This is definitely hits everyone's taste buds when it comes to coffee and bring your little ones with all the sweets to devour. They have delicious, seasonal coffee, my spouse ordered an oatmeal cookie latte with a shot of espresso and I took a sip and Yum Yum Yum. I had tried the Italian soda with strawberry and peach flavoring and it was a refreshing drink. The service was amazing and the worker was able to provide us some recommendations. There was a shop attached and they had a lot of items, some seemed a bit overpriced so I didn't explore much there. This place is super cute!! They have a little boutique connected to it that is filled with great clothes. It was pretty busy but we still got our coffee within ten minutes. Everyone who worked there was very nice and they also have an insane truffle selection! I got a peppermint white mocha and wasn't super impressed by it. I think it was the espresso in it that wasn't great? But while the coffee was meh, the food choices were good!! The kolache and muffins and truffles were very worth returning for. My friends and I were staying in Broken Bow for the weekend, and decided to head to town for a coffee run. When we arrived, it was fairly busy - lots of people in the gift store area, seated and waiting for their orders, etc. but we received our order fairly quickly! When you walk in, you see some souvenirs for sale, then the counter to order food and drinks. They sell ice cream, fudge, and truffles too! We ordered a hot caramel latte, an iced mocha, a chai, and one of their summer specialty lattes - s'mores! It's quaint and cozy, and a great stop off the main highway. Note - the specialty coffees/lattes are on the sweeter side, so if you're more into the espresso flavor I would go without any extras. You can purchase their coffee beans from the gift shop area if you like their house coffees! If I ever find myself back in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area, I'll definitely stop here again! read more

Cons: initially we thought this was a weird location. it's off the main road. once we were here and sitting out on their patio, we realized it was perfect. It's away from all the busyness and it was very peaceful. They were out of danishes, but had these delicious pumpkin rolls. Pros: there was only one employee working the register and making the food/drinks. She was very apologetic. Really, We didn't mind. The day before, we had waited over an hour and a half at another coffee place. So our 15 minute wait here was nothing. Decent breakfast burritos and croissant sandwich. I really liked the sausage English muffin. Coffee was good. And I loved my oolong tea with honey. Cute gift shop. read more

Overall we had a good experience at Hochatown Coffee Central. The shop is super cute and there is a decent amount of seating indoors and out. There are a bunch of little nicnacks (sp??) you can buy most of which appear to be locally made. The coffee was pretty good, and came out quickly, and they had a lot of options to choose from. The main reason why I took off a star was due to the staff. They didn't necessarily do anything wrong - but they just seemed super pissed to be there. Considering that they seem to be the 'premier coffee shop' in the area, I just kinda expected a smile or something. We'll likely return because it seems to be the best coffee option in the area, I just try to smile more for them :0) read more

The coffee and service was good! I saw the reviews and made sure to ask for less sweetener for my latte and am very pleased with it. Unfortunately, our danish had mold growing on it....they gave us an immediate refund and apologized, and accidents happen but check your pastries! I will be asking about freshness in the future. Was the coffee good? For a $7 frappe...didn't even taste like s'mores. Nothing special. Was the service aspect good? Not at all. I brought my dog and thought we'd eat breakfast outside on the patio. As we walk to the door there's a "stray dog" that aggressively barked, lunged forward and tried to get big with me and my dog and the staff did nothing about it. Considering it was right outside the front door and no one even came to help, but they were huddled by the window was very off putting. As I walked in it's like they didn't want to address the issue. I simply asked "whose dog is that?" To my surprise there was no accountability and the girl I ordered from just said, "it's a stray dog and it's never done anything before" but the fact being this happened on their property and no apology or anything to make me feel welcomed or safe was very shocking. This is such a cute and fun place! We actually found it when trying to find another coffee shop. The coffee was great and they had many flavors to choose from, even seasonal flavors! This place was recommended to us by someone who visits the area often. So the coffee drinks were not bad. Our problem was the service the young man who took our order which was only 4 drinks was very confusing. He also had a careless rude attitude. Alot of the area has alot going on in each of the stores, this was no acceptance. There was too much going on in this store the vibe was crowded with too many oddities sold. read more

We came here early on a Sunday morning while staying at a near by cabin. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered popular suggestions. The place was cozy and had an attached shop with shirts and souvenirs. The coffee was great and we enjoyed sitting in the outdoor patio while the morning was cool. Cute inside but there's only actually 2 places to sit, so if you want to stay and sit a while you are most likely going outside. The coffee shop is attached to a gift shop, it's fun to peruse while you wait. The food however is just ok. My husband said his croissant sandwich tasted like a jimmy Dean frozen breakfast sandwich, my "kolaches" (actually klobasnikys) had great soft dough but I really didn't care for the sausage inside. The cinnamon roll was a big disappointment. It was very light and dry. I still enjoyed it as a sweet, but not so much as a cinnamon roll. The coffee is really worth a stop but there are better options for breakfast. It would still be a decent option if you're in a hurry. read more

I ordered the turtle cheesecake fudge and enjoyed the chocolate more than the cheesecake. The girl that took our order was proficient and friendly. Thank you! On our third morning in Hochatown, we finally stopped in. Cute place and the coffee was fantastic! My kids had an iced caramel latte and a caramel frappe and I had a hot vanilla latte, they were all so good that we're stopping by again on our way home tomorrow. The blueberry muffin was just okay but the strawberry and glazed donuts were very tasty. Not much seating inside but there was seating in the shade outside. There were a few customers in front of us but the service was fast, we didn't have to wait long at all to order or get our drinks or food. read more

Came in just before 11am on a Saturday and the place was packed. I ordered a mocha latte and it was prepared fairly quickly so I'm guess others were waiting for food. My friend ordered biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll is large and tasted good. The shop is a bit on the small side with most of the seating outside. If you're waiting for food then you may have to stand and my friend stood a long time waiting for her food. I'm glad it was a sunny day but as busy as it was, it could be 3x as large with more indoor seating. There is an adjoining little gift shop with some interesting and varied options for jewelry to clothing to little pottery type pieces. Some items were unique to me and fairly priced. You can spend time there while you wait. While the biscuits and gravy were good, they took 30 min!!! I think they need more employees working. read more

They offer a great assortment of coffee and tea drinks as well as pastries, truffles, fudge, and rolled ice cream. Its connected to a shop where you can buy all kinds of local items.
