I am giving this five stars for the VERY attentive service. The food was great and hit the spot when we just wanted something simple on a Sunday afternoon. They stayed on top of the water refills and I appreciated the vat (I'm kidding) I mean the squeeze bottle of ranch dressing (yes, I am one of those people.) The fries had the peels on which I love and they were pretty tasty. I had the mushroom bacon swiss burger and my hubby had the classic burger without cheese. Both burgers were good. He ordered onion rings and those were a big hit. I would also note that the onions rings appeared beer battered and a bit more cakey with a smoother finish than ones with flour breading. That is a personal preference for some. They were very good. I love love love the atmosphere here. It has such a nice patio atmosphere and there were lots of families and couples dining al fresco. We would definitely return. It is so nice to sit outside here. read more

Stopped here on our way back from Broken Bow for a last stop meal. Chicken fried steak was good, but a bit heavy on breading, and the mac and cheese was more like cafeteria-style mac in my opinion -- nothing too special. We also tried the brisket queso, which had good flavor, but we had to ask for it to be reheated. Service was friendly and the spot has an easygoing vibe if you're looking for somewhere casual to grab a meal. read more

The food tasted great and the service was also great. Unfortunately they delivered my food with wet queso cheese and the nachos were super soggy (I ordered it with shredded cheese only particularly when the server asked). So, by the time they fixed my meal my entire party had finished eating their meals and I had to take it to go. Once I got it though it was great. We came up to Oklahoma for a quick weekend. My boys (14,10) wanted to try Buffalo Grill. It was cool today but we choose to sit outside. Each table has a heater. The outside are has games like corn hole, connect 4, and kiddie racers! There is a band stand and the outside are is pet friendly! The food: Appetizers: Fried green tomatoes (6) - so yummy and seasoned Gator Bites and fries- boys said they were yummy but chewy. Entrees- My husband and I had, The Holy Smokies, the brisket sandwich dressed with coleslaw. I was worried the slaw would be sweet, but thankfully it was not. Did have to season them with lots of salt and pepper. My boys had the "Skillet Mac and Cheese " one choose it with brisket the other choose the shrimp for an extra $7! The Mac and cheese was completely eaten with the brisket but the one with the shrimp left the shrimp behind. He didn't like the taste of the shrimp with the Mac and cheese. Extras: Our server was J.C., just turned 18. She was really attentive, helpful and sweet. The blueberry mojito drink was a little strong for me. I wish it was a little sweeter. read more

Stopped in for lunch today and went with the street tacos, priced at $14.25. You get three tacos, and we ordered a mix of chicken and brisket. Both were done right; good flavor, well-cooked meat, and put together the way street tacos should be. The tacos came with a side of cowboy beans, and those were a pleasant surprise. Solid flavor and a great complement to the meal, not an afterthought like you get at some places. Overall, a good lunch with quality food that's worth the stop. Ugh. I honestly give it 3.5 stars for the poor management alone. The food was a solid 4.5 stars. We were starving when we arrived for dinner and were quickly shown a seat and given menus. We had decided in about 5 minutes what we wanted but had yet to have a waiter or waitress come to our table (not even for drinks). More time passed and when we were just about to get up and ask someone to help us, the waitress appeared. She appeared to be the ONLY wait person for the entire dining room. When we began placing our food orders, she asked that we place drink orders first as they appear first on the digital screen the waitstaff use. Turns out she was also brand new to being a waitress. This poor woman was put in the worst position ever! We all ordered waters and then ordered our entrees. Our food was good. The portions were good, and the brisket tacos, hamburgers and skillet mac & cheese were tasty. The cost is absurdly high for what you get, but everything up in this area is overpriced. We saw two younger girls talking at the host station and one walked around asking how everyone was, but our waitress was the only one who we ever saw serve or wait on anyone in the dining room. My other complaint was what was on the television in the main dining room. One TV was showing sitcoms while the other had a horror (or similar) movie on. Our kids had to sit against the wall, so the TV wasn't in eye line. We didn't get up and complain to anyone, but it felt like a big miss on managements part for having this on with families in the dining room. read more

Great selection of local beers. We got a swst on the patio to take advantage of the nice fall weather. They are walking distance from the cabin where we were staying so very convenient. The birria tacos were fire. Very flavorful and not too greasy which can often be an issue with these tacos. My husband got the hangover sandwich which he said was very good and I tried a little of his fried okra which was hot and crispy. Overall, definitely recommend. read more

We went on a holiday weekend and they were pretty full. There were a lot of large parties coming and going, but thankfully, we were just two people so we were able to be seated pretty quick. Our drinks were pretty sweet and on one of the drinks we asked to be made without a certain ingredient, but it still came with it. The fried okra was good. It was odd that there was no barbecue sauce on the side for the pulled pork sandwich and we had to ask for a side of it. The mac & cheese was OK, but it tasted like it was from a box. The brisket on it was tasty and I'm glad that it had the pico on it to give it some extra flavor. The ambience inside was nice, but our server was not friendly to us and took a while to bring things to us and get our check, etc. read more

This place is your classic bar restaurant in a resort town nothing fancy, and not trying too hard...but it hit the spot after a long day of driving. We just wanted something quick and decent before heading to set up our campsite, and luckily there was enough space in the parking lot for our RV, which felt like a small miracle. We opted to sit in the bar area to avoid the kiddo crowd, and Kelsey was tending bar. She was super friendly and poured me an ice-cold martini that immediately took the edge off. We ordered the brisket nachos and I kid you not, they hit the table about 30 seconds later. It was almost spooky how fast they came out. They were good, but a bit on the smaller side for a plate of nachos. We also split a side of mac and cheese, which also showed up basically the moment we ordered it. Apparently this kitchen is operated by time travelers. The mac and cheese was made for kids, kinda glue-y. Loved this place! Great vibe and outdoor seating. They have a little space for kids to play with toys and giant connect 4 so it's perfect for families. The blueberry mule was delicious but $10 for one drink. The salmon salad was fresh and yummy! The chips and queso were great too! We'll go back for sure! read more

The service was wonderful!!! While visiting the area, my hubs and me stopped by on a Friday night for a quick bite. while waiting for the rest of our family to arrive to our cabin. Being a vegetarian; i ordered side bake potato/side broccoli/side asparagus. It was good! I also had a "dirty Shirley temple!" The hubs had a burger and mashed potatoes with gravy! He loved his mashed potatoes! On Monday afternoon we decided to go here for lunch with the entire family. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch with a range of different eaters. (w/kids & adults) My neice the vegan was able to have a vegan burger along with myself the vegetarian. Then all of the meat eaters had their options! Food was good but the service was Amazing!! This place has a staff of really kind people!! Our waiter was super nice, probably the best we had during our visit. With metal chairs and an ice maker in the dining room, it was a little loud. The food came out surprisingly fast. We were bummed that there wasn't a burger on the kids menu. Hubs wasn't impressed with the size of the catfish, brisket tacos & chicken tacos were good, Classic burger was very tasty but expensive for the size, kid's Chicken fingers got a thumbs up and everyone enjoyed the Molten dessert & cookie dessert. I did have to send the tacos back for coming out cold. Otherwise, we enjoyed our experience and will be back on our next visit. read more

First, Kinzi is awesome! She's friendly, attentive and just a great spirit. The bar area is nice and cozy, but big enough to enjoy the company without feeling overcrowded. The food was good. Their Southern Comfort (friend bologna sandwich) was delicious. The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was good, tho a lil dry. Waffle fries are crispy, but they're fried okra... very much enjoyed. This is our second visit here and the food was great as always! Our waitress was super attentive and was very nice. The place itself looked clean as always and we were seated right away. We went for lunch on a Saturday around 11:15, and sat in the bar. We had a couple of tap beers from a local brewery, then ordered our food I had the Southern Comfort sandwich with sweet potato fries, my wife had the Californian wrap with waffle fries both really good. We decided to stop here for lunch and they were right on with their time estimate for the wait. We really enjoyed the brisket in our dishes- the baked potato with brisket was great. The kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. Salads coming out of the kitchen looked good, I wish I had tried one! The front restaurant area had no character and was just a pretty bland little room. Maybe the patio or bar were more interesting for dining. read more
