    Coffee, Beer and Wine

Be it coffee time or happy hour, Spaceship Earth Coffee continues to be my favorite spot in McAlester. Coffee beans roasted on-site and carefully selected craft beers and wines, which change and therefore always add to the fun. Their live music events are great too--often nationally known red dirt artists performing here in this cozy setting.

Had an amazing cup of coffee here - but this is so much more. Full bar and live bands make this place a solid entertainment option. I would suggest this is best bar currently in town for people looking for more than a dive bar.

This place is awesome. They have coffee in the morning and Prairie 345 where the Prairie Artesian Ales are sold. Coffee and beer is a dynamite combine. Next, they make their own syrups. Today they had vanilla bean, honey & thyme, and mint. They were out of lavender. I saw lemonade on the menu and they were out, but they made fresh squeezed lemonade for me with mint syrup. OMG! They need to put this on the menu! I loved it. They had some nice looking and decadent pastries, including a scone, but I was going to lunch and decided to save my calories. Next time I'm in McAlester I'll be back.

Really smooth coffee. Really relaxed atmosphere. The small cup that iced beverages come in is really big for a small. Will definitely come back when I am back in that area.

This was a nice surprise! Draft beer and coffee in the same area. They have a modest coffee menu with the essentials, coffee and non-coffee. Their syrups are homemade in house. I ordered the latte and it was great. My hubby ordered an Americano and said it was good. Their coffee is also used in some of the beer. There are several tables within. Nice comfy clean environment within. They have shelving in the very back with a modest collection of games. We went after 2pm and it was not busy. They do not have food there, but that is fine because they encourage you to bring in their own. If I am in McAlester again I will definately be back.

This is the best coffee spot in McAlester, no doubt. Such a great atmosphere and always feel welcomed when arriving. Whitney is the expert in all things coffee and beer, and makes the absolute best lattes around. They have daily pastries from Le Salt (also amazing located down the road) and they are always so good and fresh. On Fridays they also have breakfast burritos which are a must!

Having been away from McAlester for a few years now, I'm sincerely blown away that a coffee shop of this caliber is in town now! I mean, this place is AMAZING! Not only is it one of the best pour over coffees I have had, but I also tried a short pour of the Phantasmagoria Double IPA and it was exquisite as well. Couple that with some mad vibes and pretty friendly barista and this place is a major win in my book! All the stars and I'll definitely be stopping by every time I drive through from now on.

Wow. Love this coffee / homemade beer house! I give more than five stars. Fresh flowers, fresh air with rollup garage door up. They had coconut milk for my chi tea too. Very nice sound system playing great music. Lamarrazolla machine for expresso

Great coffee but idk why everyone has to close on Sunday. Downtown is dead and depressing on Sunday.

We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go!

There were about 7-9 different wines we tried I believe. They give you a paper to write down your thoughts and opinions so you'll know which wine you like. I really enjoyed the experience. The place was styled super cute and colorful and had some cute photo ops.

It was a VERY chilly but sunny day so the mulled wine sounded great to me. I only sampled the blueberry, and this one and decided it was perfect. I'm at home now and kind of regretting not getting a bottle. We ordered our glasses and had a seat in the next room that had all the seating. We were nearly done with our drinks when our food came out, and we nearly ordered more but we were trying to pack as much as we could into a Saturday and a ton of these places close super early so it was time to move along. The charcuterie board had some excellent selections and was more than enough for 4 of us, but I will say maybe preserves or mustard or honey might be nice. Some kinda sauce... The staff was so sweet and hospitable. I've been to Hochatown countless times and hadn't stopped in here before and would be happy to go back.

The atmosphere was strange... when we think winery, we're picturing a valley of grapes or a hillside retreat. However, the deck of this tasting location was in front of the literal highway. Maybe we had unrealistic expectations being out-of-towners, but we were disappointed. The wine is very lacking. We learned from a couple locals after this experience that majority of the local "wineries" use a grape concentrate, likely from California, to create their own wines. I definitely think this shows in quality and overall taste, but the prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't come back, and it wouldn't be on our next "to stop" list, but reading other reviews, it seems like a loved establishment. If you're looking for fresh snacks or light meals, it might be a good place to stop by.
