It's not that many nice restaurants in Texarkana so this restaurant is one of my favorites. They have great brunch and great. Customer service is better if you make a reservation and it's easy to do on their website or on Google atmosphere is great for date night. they have a private room for Family functions or acute baby shower or celebration. I think my favorite dish will have to be the chicken and waffles their pasta I don't drink anymore, but if I did, I will get the mimosas if they're froze

Eggs Benedict it's usually served with hash browns or fruit.

Best brunch spot in Texarkana. I always get French toast and the hubby gets Eggs Benedict, always. Don't forget the mimosas!

Really good Italian for Texarkana, ok Italian compared to larger market restaurants. 3.5 rounded up to 4. Positives 5/5 - Nice restaurant helping downtown Texarkana become relavent again. - Nice interior. - My 80 yo mom absolutely adores it. - Good wine list. - The Salmon was cooked perfectly. Mixed 3.5/5 - The food preparation was pretty good, but on this night the main ingredient was garlic. The bread was served with garlic in olive oil. The pasta with the salmon was high in garlic, and the broccolini was garlicy. I like garlic, but this was an over-the-top garlic fest. - The lasagna was mostly layers of pasta. Very little tomato sauce or ricotta between layers. The pasta had a nice bite to it, but there just wasn't much else to it through the middle layers. - The crème brulé was a bit soft inside and the approach for putting a crisp sugar glaze on the top, which looked like lighting some spirit on top (probably Vodka or Everclear) didn't result in a crispy shell like a traditional torch makes. Marginal 3/5 - No fresh grated parmesan cheese. I never expect this at traditional Italian restaurants in the US, but a restaurant marketed as upper echelon, they always have it. I asked my waitress, and instead of saying "sure, let me get you some", she said they stopped grating at the table due to CoVid. I can accept no local table grating, but a bowl could have been brought out. - On the reservation I put it was my mom's 80th birthday, but that did not translate to any acknowledgment by anyone. Maybe an OpenTable booking translation, but the thing I usually get in higher end restaurants is attention to the small details like this. Purist Italian Nit-Pick Most of the pasta is not made fresh in-house. My waitress said only the lasagna pasta is made in-house. By this I mean mixing flour and egg, kneading, rolling, shaping etc. If you eat at 99.9% restaurants that are Italian in the US, they use premade pasta just like this. But when I go to nicer Italian restaurants in LA or Miami or even Cincinnati, the pasta is hand made. It does cost more due to kitchen labor and maybe the T-Town market won't support the associated menu pricing, so that is why I call it a Purist Italian nit-pick. This is often a hard tradeoff. Will I go back? Yes. Like I started with, for Texarkana this is a really good restaurant and is unique. I will just temper my expectations to match the market. -

Decided on the wedge salad and the Baja Tacos. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but my tacos are delivered to my table BEFORE the salad, when I asked about the salad the lady said it should be out "soon" {sigh}. A few minutes later the salad arrives while I was looking disappointedly at the tacos. I even asked Abby if this was the normal amount of meat provided on the tacos and she said yes...oh well. Salad was OK, a bit drowned in Blue Cheese dressing but it was an OK salad. The tacos...totally missed the mark. They were supposed to be "3 flour tortillas filled with grilled & blackened red fish, topped with slaw and cilantro cream". There was basically one "fish nugget"...inadequate, the "blackened" was more like tanned so no blackened flavors, while the cilantro cream didn't do anything to improve the dish. I guess I could have sent it back but I combined one into the other two to make them a bit more like a meal. Service from Abby was good, but overall not a huge fan of this meal.

She just stared at us as we walked in, no welcome, and not a single bit of souther hospitality that I expect from a small town establishment. The food was superb, though! My husband and I both ordered the wedge salad and the chicken capres. The chicken was sous-vide with cherry tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella cheese, balsamic glaze, and fresh basil. Plus it was gluten free! Omg, the most tender and juicy chicken I think I've ever had! I chose the grilled okra as my side and I was not disappointed. The Twisted fork is a great, laid-back place for some classic southern-inspired food!

We quickly learned that there's no wineries in Broken Bow and all of the local 'wineries' make their wine from concentrate often brought in from California. Which is okay, and the prices reflects the quality, we're just not the biggest fans of the wine. The wine tasting itself was so rushed! There's no stools at the bar and it seemed like a very "out of place" experience. However, it's free and you're able to try a good bit of different wines. Their wine slushes are DELICIOUS! You can add a wine floater and in my first one, I added a floater of a dry white and it was refreshing and exciting. I noticed the frozen slushes in to-go bags by the exit and I think it would be so perfect for a hot summer day or floating the river! We grabbed three to enjoy at home! Overall - if you like sweet/simple wine, this place is probably for you... Go with low expectations if you're a wine snob, but definitely go!

It was a VERY chilly but sunny day so the mulled wine sounded great to me. I only sampled the blueberry, and this one and decided it was perfect. I'm at home now and kind of regretting not getting a bottle. We ordered our glasses and had a seat in the next room that had all the seating. We were nearly done with our drinks when our food came out, and we nearly ordered more but we were trying to pack as much as we could into a Saturday and a ton of these places close super early so it was time to move along. The charcuterie board had some excellent selections and was more than enough for 4 of us, but I will say maybe preserves or mustard or honey might be nice. Some kinda sauce... The staff was so sweet and hospitable. I've been to Hochatown countless times and hadn't stopped in here before and would be happy to go back.

The atmosphere was strange... when we think winery, we're picturing a valley of grapes or a hillside retreat. However, the deck of this tasting location was in front of the literal highway. Maybe we had unrealistic expectations being out-of-towners, but we were disappointed. The wine is very lacking. We learned from a couple locals after this experience that majority of the local "wineries" use a grape concentrate, likely from California, to create their own wines. I definitely think this shows in quality and overall taste, but the prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't come back, and it wouldn't be on our next "to stop" list, but reading other reviews, it seems like a loved establishment. If you're looking for fresh snacks or light meals, it might be a good place to stop by.
