We returned for another round and see they have found their groove. This time we tried the hotdogs; judged them good. When you go, check out the light sculpture on the ceiling. I over looked it the first time and it's pretty neat.

Pour your own..... if you have the skill set.

Nice new place @ 205 / Quail Run, good selection of "self serve" tap beer (and wine) Food was above average, but still a little work in progress. I had the Miami Cuban, a solid 7... a little light on flavor and a tad dry... but not bad. My son had the Koreatown Fried Chicken sandwich... he gave it an 8, would have been a 10 but a little strong with a salty soy sauce taste. All in all, it was worth the trip. They have been open since March... give them some time to work out the details and this will be a def go to spot in Rockwall.

Food was great , beer was cold , staff is friendly , check them out . North side of Rockwall near Krogers , lots of parking as well

Wing appetizer with Texas bbq rub (did not like the ranch)

We really had a good time here. It was Friday at 5:30 and the kitchen they said was short staffed. But they told us ahead of time so had no problem waiting. Everyone was very nice and kept checking on us. Yeh food was really good. The only thing was we ordered a side of onion rings and we got 4 for 8 dollars. Not worth it at all. I ordered the wings with the Texas bbq rub and really enjoyed the run and they were cooked perfectly. They are not huge wings but very good. My husband has the steak and fries which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The place is super cool with a lot of space and tvs.

Brisket queso and ribeye tacos

The brisket queso was bomb and the fresh corn chips were thin, crispy and delicious. Loved the ribeye tacos. For dessert the key lime pie was awesome. Everything from scratch. Service fast and friendly for lunch! Atmosphere is fun.

NY dog.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully curated without trying too hard. The service was top-notch. Attentive and friendly server -- you can tell they care about every guest's experience. And the food... wow. By far some of the greatest Italian dishes we've had -- and that's saying a lot because we've traveled all over Europe. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients and pride. If you appreciate delicious, high-quality food and a charming atmosphere, this place is a must. We will absolutely be back!

We were roaming around the old courthouse Square downtown and stumbled upon this jewel. The atmosphere is really laid-back cool and their prices are quite fair. We split the bruschetta salad.. it was HUGE!! Very fresh with a wonderful, light dressing. The cheesy bread that comes with this salad is very good. Interestingly, it is served under the salad. For our entrée, we split the meatball lasagna. Again, a huge single portion, so splitting it was perfect. We have many terrific restaurants around us - Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. However, this was one of the finest Italian meals we have had anywhere, including Little Italy in Boston. Everything was so flavorful and hearty. The garlic toast served with the lasagna was also excellent. By the way, the old-fashioned with Makers Mark bourbon was superb as well. Based on our first-time experience, there is nothing NOT to like about this establishment. I just wish the portions weren't so generous so that we might have had room for the coconut cream pie. BTW, Hailey is an excellent server.

Saturday night dinner at Belle Vie Bistro was very nice! I honestly would give it about 4.5 stars,…read morenot a 5, as that implies perfection. But they are definitely making the effort to deserve respect. First, we were seated promptly and our server was very responsive, so much so that we hadn't even had a moment to peruse the wine menu before she arrived. I would recommend that the servers be trained to bring water and the bread and butter without asking in order to offer the guests a chance to settle in for a moment. (Fresh french bread and good butter, by the way. I don't usually indulge in that, but I had 2 slices.) And if a guest asks to sample a wine, the answer is always "Yes." They are going to order wine, they just don't know if it will be that one. Both my wife and I started with side salads, which were great. Very fresh greens, and dressings that were obviously made in-house and delicious (awesome lemon vinaigrette on the bistro salad and a truly great Caesar dressing.) I should mention that their wine selection is made up of good labels you probably drink regularly, with a few neat additions that are worth a try. My wife ordered the grilled salmon cooked to her preference, and it was served that way. She really liked the lemon sauce with which it was served, along with risotto and al dente veggies including squash, zucchini and carrots (well seasoned.) I had the duck confit, and it too, was very good. Mashed potatoes made in house (again, well seasoned) with the same grilled vegetables. I appreciate many things about this restaurant. Frankly, I don't understand why it wasn't packed. The lighting is nice, the music is just perceptible so as not to be intrusive. The service is very attentive, and the food is really good. The price point is reasonable. The most expensive meal on the menu is about $35, but they offer plenty of great options for less. Having written a brunch review for this restaurant before on Google, I noticed that they take the input from their clients seriously, and I appreciate that. This is a place that is putting in the work, and it shows. I forgot to mention that they have a barista on staff even in the evenings, and pastries that are made by an actual French pastry chef (I indulged in the Croissant Aux Aumandes on our previous visit, and it is absolutely legit.) Parking on the square in Rockwall can be an issue, and Belle Vie is in the middle of the block, so maybe it is somewhat overlooked, but it is definitely worth a visit. I'll be going back pretty soon for the lamb at dinner time. I also want to try their French onion soup and French dip. You should go. You won't be disappointed.

The build-your-own burger I made (blt, mayo, and added avocado spread) was FANTASTIC!! The fries were a hit. Sweet potato and plain were both the most amazing addition to their burgers. Loved the spicy and regular ranch! Okay now to the margarita. Strong and tasted pretty good. My husband enjoyed the beer options (purple haze and dark matter). My only beef with the harbor is the parking. I don't feel the infrastructure here is set up for this much volume of stores and customers. Of course this isn't the restaurants' fault.

My wife and I don't eat burgers often, but when we do, we go straight to Rodeo Goat--any location,…read morereally, because they're all excellent. What makes the Rockwall spot stand out is its incredible outdoor patio, complete with swinging tables and chairs and a beautiful view of the lake. It's one of the best patios around. The burgers themselves are wonderfully creative, often featuring unexpected ingredients--like strawberry compote. On a burger? Absolutely. And it works. I can be a pretty picky eater, but at Rodeo Goat I've learned to trust the menu. Order it the way the chef intended, and you'll be glad you did. You can't go wrong with any Rodeo Goat, but the Rockwall location is especially worth the visit for the views and the outstanding burgers. You won't be disappointed.
