Dined alone for an early dinner at 5:15. I had the pork belly sushi roll, wedge salad, crispy cauliflower and a cup of butternut squash soup. Pork belly roll was ok but for $18 put decent piece of pork belly on it! See pic, even the bigger pieces were tiny. Quality control and consistency would help the back of the house. If you're low on pork belly better not to serve it like that. I wouldn't order it again. The wedge salad and soup were outstanding. Crispy cauliflower is misnamed, not crispy and were served just about raw. I wouldn't order this again either. A bit pricy for an app, salad, side and a cup of soup, $53 plus tip $63 total. Very cute restaurant. Service is very good and fast at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Only complaint is it was a bit hot inside. They said something had broke earlier and that a repair man was on his way. We started with risotto bites. And butternut squash soup. The risotto bites were delicious but the soup was lacking. The waitress said it did look a little thin today. And our issue was lack of flavor. We also got the whiskey pork tenderloin which was our favorite of that and the smothered chicken. The Brussel sprouts that come with the pork are absolutely amazing. The pork was juicy and flavorful. We finished with the crème brûlée. It was delish also, overall on our first trip I will say I will be back. Our check was 120.21 , we don't do drinks besides water since that's all we like anywhere. This is my 3rd review of Bin 303 and it's the worst Oh, Bin 303......we have lived in Rockwall for 22 years and have been dining at Bin since they opened with mixed reviews but tonight was the "straw that literally broke the camel's back!" I have always been of the opinion that they have always served excellent food but had absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant and tonight was evident of that when we complained to our server that she was less than attentive to our table during the evening. We had to flag down the busboy to order our coffee and dessert, she never came to ask us how our food was, she never re-filled our water glasses and on and on. Instead of apologizing, she proceeded to argue with us. I told her to stop or I would ask to speak to the manager. She then proceeded to go get the manager, Breann, co-owner of the restaurant. After waiting for a while for her to show up, we just wanted to leave and took our check to the bar to get the check rung up so we could leave. Finally, Breann shows at the bar up and again, instead of apologizing to long time customers who have spent thousands of dollars in her restaurant, including a $185 tab tonight, she also starts to argue with us and tells us she viewed the camera and that our server came to our table 4 times during the meal? Really, 4 times, she's impressed by that? She greeted us and she took our wine order, after flagging her down she took our dinner order, after flagging her down she brought us a more wine and she brought us the coffee after we had ordered it from the busboy? And she thinks this is adequate service for an $185 tab? She continued to berate us and argue with us and finally told us she would take care of the whole bill and at this point we just wanted out of there, so we agreed and headed for the door. She then proceeded to follow us out on the front porch of the restaurant and continued to argue with my husband. As I mentioned at the beginning, these folks have never understood how to run a restaurant and treat customers. Unfortunately, they have survived because aren't many above average non-chain restaurants in Rockwall. BTW, what's up with the carpet in the front dining room held down with the gorilla tape? read more

Ambiance is stellar. There is a very comforting vibe in this ole craftmans style home. The front porch, creaky hardwood floors, the wood trim & accents, cozy lighting, and outdoor seating are welcoming. Parking is a bit unaccommodating. The Food Our server worked her butt off for our group of 25. Calamari was bland and disappointingly served cold w/zuchinni slivers. Cheese bread was luke warm but good. My group mostly ordered the filet and a twice-baked stuffed potato which they all seemed to enjoy. All seemed to have been cooked to the requested temps. I ordered the redfish. It was a very liberal serving and presented nicely with a sun-dried tomato goat cheese topping. They could've stopped right there. It also had kale, almonds, cauliflower and a romesco sauce. This could've been a divine dish had they cooked the cauliflower (or omitted it all together) and seasoned the fish with at least salt and pepper. The texture of the cauliflower had too much of a contrast to the fish. The Caesar salad was not your typical Caesar. This had a smoky flavor that was surprisingly good. It was a very small portion, almost too little for the giant bowl it was served in. Desert for me was key lime pie -a very firm custard w/mild lime flavor. It was not tart at all and enough for two. It was amost a quarter of the whole pie. Good to see some originality in Rockwall. Ask for your food to be served hot, seasoned, and the veggies to be tender and you'll enjoy this. read more

We had an incredible dinner here at Bin303 on a Sunday night! We love that this is a family owned and operated restaurant. There was lots of history here, and you can tell just by walking through the doors. The restaurant owners poured a lot of love back into this historic Sears Catalogue home. Beautiful, warm, home-y vibes. Our server was very kind, and gave us a little history of the restaurant. The tables were made of reclaimed wood from the house! The food was spectacular. We weren't too sure about this place. An upscale restaurant in an old house seemed questionable but as soon as we walked up the entrance we knew we'd found an awesome place. Great staff with friendly smiles greeted us and got us seated. Since we had a reservation our table was already set with waters and a card signed by the team for our anniversary. The food was amazing. Starting with the bacon wrapped quail and cheesey garlic bread appetizers and on to the whisky apple pork chop and 8oz fillet, every bite was delicious. Creamed corn and twice baked potato were fantastic. We highly recommend this place. Be sure to ask about the history of the house, absolutely phenomenal. I had the confetti salad (large enough to be a meal in itself so brought some home), the TX redfish with sun-dried tomato goat cheese topping and wonderfully prepared side of carrots, cauliflower and kale. My husband had the filet with crab Oscar topping and twice baked potato. All soooo good. Server, Pat, was always there to refill water glasses and make sure all was good without being overbearing. Their Google and website said closes at 9 but people were sat after. We asked the hostess who states often later and you can call for reservations. The restaurant is an old house and absolutely cute. Let me start by saying this used to be one of my favorite hole in the wall steakhouses when on the road for work, I have taken so may co workers here when we pass through rockwall I rave about it and always loved it. BUT this last trip in November 2025 was so disappointing and embarrassing, it was night time on a Friday so we sat outside for the first time ever no big deal But to start off with yall completely changed yalls menu there's no longer three sides for a slight deal, and the hostess and waiter that night were horrendous. The waiter kid with curly hair and glasses was so inattentive kept forgetting things after we reminded him politely an overall was an unacceptable experience compared to all my previous trips to this place. It used to have a charm and the menu and options used to be a lot better. The new menu lay out is mediocre and the no three sides for a deal is a rip off. I doubt I'll be bringing more new people to this place as last time I was embarrassed to recommend it read more

Bin 303 remodeled a home to make it a restaurant so it has a really homey feel to it. The aesthetic is extremely unique and just feels special to Rockwall. You cannot come to Rockwall without stopping by Bin 303. We came on Cinco De Mayo, so they had special menu items. Finally had the opportunity to try Bin 303 and will say a new area favorite has been found. We had excellent service and enjoyed learning the history and future plans. Started off with spicy margaritas which were excellent. Appetizer was the pork belly sushi - again excellent and a must try. We ordered sandwiches for dinner and the bacon burger was perfectly cooked and delicious with crispy fries. My wife tried the chicken on ciabatta which she said was delicious. Too full to try dessert, but knowing their key lime pie is homemade we'll be sure to save room next time. Can't wait to return to try more! read more

We enjoyed Bin 303 again last night with guests from overseas. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. Our food was delicious between the salmon; the ribeye; and the filets. The kids burger (ordered medium) was well done and not eaten. We waited at least 30-40 minutes from the time of ordering until our food was brought out. We also ordered dessert and it was all delicious (key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée) and waited about 15 minutes for them. Overall a good experience, despite a long wait times. The restaurant itself is very cute, but attire of some of the other waitresses made it seem very informal despite menu prices. One waitress wore a see through white tshirt with no bra and nipples were very visible to everyone; quite off putting for such a nice restaurant. read more

I am so glad I stopped by here and got the Texican burger to go! Maybe I regret that I didn't dine in. The best burger I had in like 5 years. Thick, juicy, and tender. Can't skip mentioning the guac spread on the BUN and the sweet potato fries were crazy good. Although given that this place is in the suburbs, I kinda expected some Rockwall hospitality. I got the burger that makes me want to come back to this place for sure. But I wasn't too fond of the service while I was waiting for good 20 minutes at the bar. Why asking me if I would want to sit at the bar if nobody is going to offer not even water or menu. Thankfully I knew what I want as a first time visitor, but that short 3 minute walk-in experience to order take out was a little strange, just to be honest. Maybe that is a charm of Rockwall, being too cool about it, I don't know. :) Other than that, love the decor of this renovated house-turned restaurant! So cool. Not often enough I can say that a restaurant blows me away. But Bin303 has. I miss the people of Rockwall, TX the most, faster living here for 20 years. But one of the places that I miss the most is Bin and they are not Pefect but darn close. The absolute best burger in the world. A restaurant that stands out against any in the country anywhere. If only the burger was the best thing on the menu, it's not!! I've not had a bad bad meal here. Excellent entrees, sides and desserts. The restaurant and waiters went way out of their way to make our 1 year Anniversary dinner so special. They reserved a very private booth with curtains for us. Our server Collin was amazing and recommended the perfect wine for us as well as our dishes and desert. Everything we ate was spot on amazing. We had the best crab dip of our lives first. My husband loved his pork Mac and cheese. My filet was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. The twice baked potato was the best I've ever tasted. The asparagus was so delicious.
