Service was great. I didn't need to make a reservation then again it wasn't a special occasion. Me and my wife enjoyed the environment food was delicious. Will be back for another date night. Steak was soft and tasty!!! Asparagus, Brussels sprout, and the Mac and Cheese were delicious!!!

Ambiance is stellar. There is a very comforting vibe in this ole craftmans style home. The front porch, creaky hardwood floors, the wood trim & accents, cozy lighting, and outdoor seating are welcoming. Parking is a bit unaccommodating. The Food Our server worked her butt off for our group of 25. Calamari was bland and disappointingly served cold w/zuchinni slivers. Cheese bread was luke warm but good. My group mostly ordered the filet and a twice-baked stuffed potato which they all seemed to enjoy. All seemed to have been cooked to the requested temps. I ordered the redfish. It was a very liberal serving and presented nicely with a sun-dried tomato goat cheese topping. They could've stopped right there. It also had kale, almonds, cauliflower and a romesco sauce. This could've been a divine dish had they cooked the cauliflower (or omitted it all together) and seasoned the fish with at least salt and pepper. The texture of the cauliflower had too much of a contrast to the fish. The Caesar salad was not your typical Caesar. This had a smoky flavor that was surprisingly good. It was a very small portion, almost too little for the giant bowl it was served in. Desert for me was key lime pie -a very firm custard w/mild lime flavor. It was not tart at all and enough for two. It was amost a quarter of the whole pie. Good to see some originality in Rockwall. Ask for your food to be served hot, seasoned, and the veggies to be tender and you'll enjoy this.

"This pork belly ruined me emotionally, spiritually, and financially. 10/10 would fall in love again and get ghosted by it."

Bin 303: Where Texas Redfish meets culinary foreplay -- and I left emotionally attached to the pork belly. From the start, service set the tone -- friendly, informed, and smooth without the fake "Hi, I'm Skyler and I'll be your best friend for the next 45 minutes" energy. Christen gave solid recommendations, timed everything perfectly, and made the whole experience feel intentional without trying too hard. That's a lost art. We started with drinks, obviously -- because hydration is vital when the cocktails are this well-crafted. These weren't syrupy messes trying to cover bad liquor. They were bold, balanced, and dangerously easy to finish. Whoever's behind the bar isn't just mixing -- they're composing. Every sip felt like it was designed to pair with a confident smirk and a second round. Then came the appetizer: sushi-styled pork belly. It showed up looking innocent and left me emotionally unstable. Perfectly tender with just the right amount of crisp, layered over greens with a glaze that could double as therapy. It was rich, nuanced, and completely addictive -- the kind of dish that makes you briefly consider licking the plate before remembering you're still in public. Christen recommended it, and she wasn't wrong -- it had echoes of the beloved risotto balls (RIP), with more complexity and zero regrets. For the main, I had the Woodfired Texas Redfish, and it delivered without drama. Buttery, delicate -- like it got a pep talk from a Michelin chef, did a confidence walk through a woodfire sauna, and came out fully evolved. No unnecessary sauces or distractions -- just confident, restrained execution that lets the fish be the star. It didn't need to scream to get your attention -- it just raised an eyebrow and owned the room. Windy had the Whiskey Barrel Pork Tenderloin, and it came out swinging. Deep smoky flavor, subtly sweet glaze, and texture that needed no knife. The corn and kale sides weren't just filler -- they were deliberate and deserved their spot. No weak links here. Dessert was a warm hug with bad intentions: a caramelized banana laid across amaretto cake with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream that felt handcrafted by someone with unresolved romantic feelings for dessert. Boozy, sweet, balanced -- the perfect ending to an already unforgettable meal. Final Verdict: Bin 303 isn't trying to impress you with gimmicks. It just delivers -- dish after dish, drink after drink -- with skill, soul, and a little swagger. From cocktails to dessert, everything hits. And thanks to service that actually knows how to guide the experience without making it about them, you're left wondering when you can come back. And yes, I'm still thinking about that pork belly.

My wife and I visited for our 36th anniversary. The customer service was amazing, and our server, Deidra, was engaging and addressed our needs as well as those of other guests. Our drinks arrived promptly and met expectations. The entrees were prepared according to our requests and served fresh. For an appetizer, we ordered garlic cheese bread. My wife chose grilled salmon with jalapeno grits while I selected grilled redfish with asparagus. I had considered dining there for several years, and we decided to visit for our anniversary, making the occasion even more special.

Card waiting for us for our anniversary

We weren't too sure about this place. An upscale restaurant in an old house seemed questionable but as soon as we walked up the entrance we knew we'd found an awesome place. Great staff with friendly smiles greeted us and got us seated. Since we had a reservation our table was already set with waters and a card signed by the team for our anniversary. The food was amazing. Starting with the bacon wrapped quail and cheesey garlic bread appetizers and on to the whisky apple pork chop and 8oz fillet, every bite was delicious. Creamed corn and twice baked potato were fantastic. We highly recommend this place. Be sure to ask about the history of the house, absolutely phenomenal. Thank you to everyone for making our first experience so memorable. We're looking forward to seeing you again soon.

We had an incredible dinner here at Bin303 on a Sunday night! We love that this is a family owned and operated restaurant. There was lots of history here, and you can tell just by walking through the doors. The restaurant owners poured a lot of love back into this historic Sears Catalogue home. Beautiful, warm, home-y vibes. Our server was very kind, and gave us a little history of the restaurant. The tables were made of reclaimed wood from the house! The food was spectacular. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and it was absolutely fantastic. One of the most juicy and flavorful burgers I've had in DFW!

Absolutely wow... had one of the best meals I've had in awhile. Had a steak and soup and sandwich off the lunch menu. Spectacular meal. Daily soup was butternut squash, best ever. Chicken salad was tasty and fresh. Steak was ordered med rare and was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Dining areas are rooms in an old cool house. Trendy decor and clean. Service by Lainey was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant. One of the best in DFW, imo.

A week later and I am still thinking about the delicious food and fantastic service! We didn't wait…read moresuper long for a table and the hosts were great. We took my dad to dinner and he complained that it was a little loud, but felt like we sat right under a speaker. I explained to him that it was part of the "vibe". Other than the volume making it difficult to hear, everything was fantastic. We probably could have asked to sit on the heated patio. The chips were warm and fresh and came with both red and green salsa, and both were super tasty. My husband asked if I could make salsa like that at home! We ordered drinks and they came quickly. I appreciated the quality of the drinks especially since we mostly ordered from their drink menu. We ordered "The Good Guac" to start and our server made sure that it wasn't too spicy or anything for my dad. I thought that was very thoughtful that she asked if how it came was ok. For food we ordered street tacos, Baja fish tacos and the parillada en fuego. The food runner seemed confused and brought us another dish (maybe the Verde molcajete) but with the loud music the message that we didn't order it was lost in translation. My husband thought maybe it was what he ordered and started in. Because our server came to check on us so quickly, she caught the mistake right away. She apologized profusely and said they were bringing what we ordered. They allowed us to keep the dish, and no sooner did we have a few bites of the deliciousness the correct food came out. They checked on us quickly, apologized profusely, brought the correct food immediately, let us keep the other food, sent another manager to apologize and finally followed up with coupons to return after making sure we were satisfied with how they handled it. I understand humans make mistakes, so I feel like the recovery or response is what is important. This is the type of amazing service that will keep us coming back. We were actually happy with the mistake as we were able to try another dish we likely wouldn't have ordered (but ended up being our favorite thing to eat). The ambiance was fun, parking was easy, the wait was reasonable, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and food/drinks were made with quality ingredients. We'll be back!

Well, the good was definitely the chips and salsa. The chips were lightly dusted with some seasoning. I didn't take the time to figure out what it was, but it gave them a nice kick. So subtle but so significant. Unfortunately, my experience kind of dipped from there. Service was slow and a bit inattentive. I got the Molcajete parrillada en fuego. The literal translation is mortar grilled over fire. I should have asked what that meant because most Molcajete dishes are heated over fire. What it means at Vidorra is cook the meat, drop a hot coal in the mortar and put the cooked meat with a little mole on a grill screen over the mortar. It's basically a fajita dish served on top of the mortar bowl. However, it doesn't stay warm. Needless to say, I was disappointed. That said, the verde Molcajete that someone else got looked as expected. No one else (there were six of us) raved about their food. So, I'm in no rush to head back.

What I loved most about this place was how local it was. People were dropping in, and everyone knew each other. We loved it. I highly recommend getting a reservation. We came in and sat at the bar, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up! Bartender/server Russo - AMAZING! This space isn't extremely spacious. They do have an outside, but it was really cold. We started off with a wine flight. Such a lovely poor for a flight, and the price was only 18. My man and I actually shared it. Will easily get this every time. For food - you can't go wrong with anything. I mean anything. We were blown away. We started off with the seared tuna, the sauce was so tasty we dipped our toasted focaccia bread in it. Perfect combination. We couldn't choose between the two pastas so we got both. The lamb gnocchi and ricotta lemon ravioli everything was so perfect. Both great portions, both extremely flavorful. You have to get these. We ended the night with a desert and again, blown away. We got the chocolate mousse and cleaned the bowl. It had little bites of vanilla cake in it, so good. This place is fantastic. We are easily coming back, we need to try the sandwiches!

Since we were going to the show, why not go for dinner? I mean we have never been. Love that you can book reservations online. Super easy to get through the gate and it has amazing views. We were greeted by the host who was so kind. The place was super busy, I assume due to the show. So, we had to wait about 10 minutes. Table right in the middle of action... 1 min... 2 min... 7 minutes no greeting nothing and a woman walks by and says she will be right us. Cool. Thanks for letting us know. Walks past us 4 more times and nothing. The good thing is clearly someone else noticed and brought us water and said she was helping while the server got caught up. Okay. Everything will be OK. Whole ordering our drinks the server took over. Ordered drinks. App and 2 entrees. Then she was gone. 30 minutes after seating... nothing. Not even drinks yet. 32 minutes... she brings my husband's can of beer. No glass. No manhatten. She says they are working on mine. After 32 minutes (at least 20 minutes after ordering our drink)... can we have a glass? 5+ minutes later she brings me my manhattan... in a wine glass? Before I smell it I ask if its a manhattan because it looked like wine (damn good pour). Her response... I don't know. Never had one before. And still no glass. A. The Manhattan was fabulous and a ridiculously amazing pour. And for the cost... damn. Thats amazing. We decided she never rang in our drinks. Its the only thing that makes sense. It had really quieted down and the bartenders were working hard. And thats fine. But own it. Another 40 minutes and she stopped by once. Said our food was coming. But honestly haven't had a server who seemed to care less about her table in quite a while. Food came about 45 minutes after ordering. We ordered the Philly egg rolls... flavor was awesome. But they were cold. Clearly they had been sitting... for a while. Literally the cheese had melted onto each other and cooled. The entrees came at the same time. Smash burger and chicken fried chicken. Both honestly really good. The mashed potatoes were cold though... not sure if its because they werent kept warm in the prep station or if our plates just died waiting on server. Flavors were good though, including the gravy and fries. Good seasoning. We asked for ranch. Can you believe she never brought it? Nope us either. Seriously. The service was the worst we had in a while. It seemed exlusive to our table/server. I finally got her name at the end... Leandra. I am not trying to put her on blast everyone has a bad night. When my husband asked about the ranch. She said oh I forgot that too.. no apologies for that or the entire night. I said well it has been a rough night... she said yep. Here's the check. We are super nice... lots of grace... but this service made me almost want to not return. But... this is a small business trying to create something for our community. So im going to return oncs more and score is based on potential. But please owners.... staff is hard to come by, and maybe it was a rough night... but no one will survive if 30 minutes with not even drinks and cold food is acceptable.
