My wife and I went in today for another great breakfast. I can't say enough about this place because I have been hunting for an excellent breakfast place with gluten free pancakes. I tried the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs today which includes pancakes. I got regular pancakes and my wife had the gluten free. I can't find a good biscuit and gravy place but theirs is really good! Eggs were cooked correct at over medium. Pancakes were great last time but even better today. I asked for warm syrup which only magnified the great taste of their pancakes. I don't have any personal interest in this place other than I want an excellent place to take my wife. I spent 14 years in the restaurant business when I was younger and I want the type of service and quality of food that I deserve and pay for. Nice little place off of Hwy 78 next to Walmart Supercenter (go grocery shopping when you're NOT hungry) lol... Restaurant was clean and well kept. Seat yourself, attendance is quick and efficient with a happy smile. Menu is wide ranging, with great prices and great food!! Build your own meal starting at $8 or choose one of their offers for a really good price. Eaten there twice within the last week and a half, the country scramble is delicious..... cut up biscuit pieces with sausage crumbles, scrambled haha, covered in white gravy.... Yum yum yum!! I added cinnamon apple pancakes for an additional $2.00. No pictures... too hungry for that visit. Next visit I stuck with the build your own combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, and banana/ pecan pancakes. AMAZING!! Breakfast is my "thing" and this little place calls my name! Nice place. Seat yourself upon entering. We've only had breakfast in our trips there. Pumpkin pancakes were spot on and the sausage gravy is very good. Service is ok. They take your order and deliver it to your table then you are on your own. No checking up or refills. read more

First off this restaurant stinks, literally! Like the stench was very off putting and that should have been our first sign to not dine here. We called ahead because we know Sunday mornings around 11am can busy for breakfast restaurants and they said there's no wait. We head over there, come in and it stinks. Anyways we stand there because the sign says the servers will come and sit you and that's like 2 mins. Finally someone say sit where ever you want. We do then a girl comes and gives us our menus and says I will be back to take you order. We literally are waiting like 10 mins and she never comes back and mind you she wasn't serving other tables she was just standing there. So after waiting 10 mins with no service in a slow stinky restaurant we left. Tips to management of you want people to eat here have the servers do their job. read more

The family had discovered this location a couple of months ago when we visited lions in Wylie, Texas. We returned after having a good experience the first time. You walk in and seat yourself. Both times, our servers have been quick to bring menus and drinks. The place has a kinda old fashion, car feel to it and very clean. The bathrooms are located to the back as compared to where you entered. The family ordered and the delivery of the order was quick. My inner fat child really wanted to try the sweet pancakes (insert Homer Simpson though mmmmm pancakes) but no my carnivore eating channeled my inner David Goggins and yelled no fat boy don't do it. I had the meat lovers omelet while the rest of the family ate chilaquiles (Mexican chips covered in green sauce, cheese and eggs), Philly, Western omelet and Kid plate for my smallest rhino. As the first time, my omelet was flavorful yet a bit small. The mother of rhino and i did not embrace the flavor of the chilaquiles and portion. My 3 kids don't care since they are part of the Matrix on their cell phones. This is a good place and we will return due to the atmosphere, service, some flavor with the food and price ($63) for a family of five. This place is terrific and the staff are always very professional and helpful. The Food is Amazing whether you are wanting a good breakfast or a burger, everything they cook is delicious. The restaurant is always very clean and you know when a place is good, because the line is out the door most of the time. We love it here. Food is great, well-priced for a family, and lots of options. Service is friendly, but once they deliver your food, you won't likely see them again. It's alright. No frills, good prices and selection, meh service, and no good food smells. No music, just a TV playing cartoons. Waitresses are okay but no warm greeting or attentiveness. They are okay nice but it's like they barely even look at you. Not a lot of life there, wasn't really too busy, compared to Starwood or Eddie's where there's good food, a lot of life, and great attentive service. This was the second time going, I knew we had been before but we both didn't remember it and now I know why. It's just okay. My wife & I made our first and last visit here today. The service & food was just ok, nothing to brag about but the WORST COFFEE I have ever been served in a restaurant. My wife commented about the ketchup, never heard of that brand, so we turned the bottle around and noticed they are buying their products from Aldi instead of a major food supplier like Sysco, US Foods, or Ben E Keith. Our biggest shock was the bill - $25 for one order of Migas, one egg, 1 fruit cup, orange juice, coffee. I questioned the bill & they charged $8 for 1 egg & a fruit cup. Food was pretty good, the pancakes are amazing, service was a little sparse but it was pretty busy. As a new business this place is bound to succeed. Their food has a homemade feel to it that reminds me of my grandmas Saturday breakfasts. You get a lot of food for a good price. However, I have two tips: 1. Make the coffee cups bigger so you have to do less refills and customers are less likely to go empty 2. PLEASE get some noise reducing decorations, such as mats or foam plates up by the ceiling. This location is very loud and not made for those that are sensitive to sensory issues. It is very loud as of right now but that's my only complaint. read more

Just left this place. Been waiting to try it and was excited that today was the day. Upon arriving, was not greeted by anyone. Wasn't sure whether to wait to be seated or to just seat yourself. No sign indicating, so after standing there a minute, we decided to seat ourselves. Menus brought - no good morning or welcome, just took our drink orders. Waitress dropped off our drinks and never came back. Another waitress saw us sitting there and came to take our order. No one came by to give us refills, I needed another coffee. Took forever. Food arrived. It was ok but if you're going to have PANCAKE in your name, I just assumed they would be pretty good. They were ok, nothing great. No one ever came back by after the food was dropped off. I had to get up finally and ask for a to-go box and to get the check. What was most irritating is that out of the 3 waitresses there, they never looked around the restaurant, never scanned the tables to see if anyone needed anything. It was bizarre. I tired this restaurant but will never go back. Way better places around that actually pay attention to their customers! So disappointed. read more

Hot Pancakes? Barely even warm. I had Migas and they were good. I wanted to try a pancake and I ordered a single. It sat at my table for about 1 minutes while I used restroom. It wouldn't melt butter so I thought I'd flip it over, hoping it would be hot and melt butter. Th e flip side had three indentations where the crust was clearly broken and appeared to have been manipulated. That side was also barely warm. Never did melt butter. When I mentioned it, waitress said it sat on the table for a couple of minutes and that's why it was cold- it's your fault. Two concerns- 1) why was the back of the "Hotcake" mutilated and 2) Even if it sat for 2 minutes, it wold still melt butter especially on the backside. I suggested she advise the cook to always make sure their cakes are "Hot" as in their namesake. Bottom line- really bad food and nasty attitude. They need a do-over with cooks and wait staff. I will never return!!! read more
