The last several times I've visited I've been told that my order was "ready for pick up" but when I arrive there's still an 8-10 minute wait. First I thought it was simply because they're adding ice to the matcha latte only when I arrive ... but lately it seems they simply need to update their pick up order system.

The cream puff was exceptional, super light crust with amazing filling. The Japanese cheesecake wasn't too sweet but had a wonderful texture. Overall this place is a must try if you're in the area!

Not only is this cafe so cozy and comfortable, there is plenty of space to sit! It would absolutely be perfect for anyone looking for a good working from home location as they also have plenty of outlets! And the service! Oh my, the girls at the front have been so sweet and kind! They often make conversation while also helping choose the best options on the menu! Now for the good stuff! The Menu! I have yet to try any of their food options, but I have had a chance to try both their iced and hot lattes! I can confidently say that Cafe Frida knows what they are doing when it comes to a good cup of caffeine! Sometimes, especially when ordering something with a bit more sweetness, coffee or espresso can lose it's taste, and as someone who craves the taste of coffee and espresso, Cafe Frida def makes sure all flavors are balanced! I just love when a coffee isn't overtaken by so many different flavors! I already cannot wait to go back! I attend pilates on Wednesday's, so they will def be seeing me again!

The space has a lot of seating between the two rooms and plenty of natural light. Love that, because there are too many coffee shops in DFW with virtually no seating lol The decor is minimal but it feels cozy and they have some cute items throughout the space. The drinks are creative and the minimal food options paired well either them. The prices were also not bad, with small drinks starting at $5.50, and a few of them including a choice of milk instead of forcing you to pay extra for that, which I appreciated. I opted for the strawberry and guava matcha that was a seasonal menu item and enjoyed every sip. The guava wasn't very noticeable though. I also got the pesto toast that was $9.70 and it was a very refreshing meal with great flavor. My friend also really liked her cookie butter toast, which I think I'll try next time I visit. They also offer a drink flight that I can't wait to try in the future! They took our order quickly and even though they had a steady flow of customer orders our items came out at a relatively quick pace, with drinks being the first. Give them a try!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude that immediately made us feel comfortable. The entire place was exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished, and had a wonderful atmosphere that was both inviting and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond throughout our visit. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions with kindness and professionalism. Their excellent customer service truly stood out and made our experience even more enjoyable. The food and drinks were just as impressive as the service. The halal turkey bacon, egg, and cheese croissant we ordered was hands down the best café sandwich I've ever had. The croissant was perfectly buttery and flaky, and the sandwich itself was served warm and fresh, making every bite absolutely delicious. The Chai tea we ordered was brought out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. To top it all off, the Biscoff milk cake was the best cake I've had in a very long time. Every item we tried exceeded our expectations. On top of the quality, everything was fairly priced, which made the experience even better! One thing that especially impressed us happened at checkout. We later learned that the person helping us was actually the owner. As I was leaving a tip, I asked if it would go to him, and he explained that it goes directly to the employees instead. I found that to be incredibly respectable and a reflection of the kind of leadership and values behind this business. It's clear that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining both the environment and the quality of service here. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, clean, and well-run establishment with outstanding food and drinks.
