This review focuses on my most recent visit for bubble tea. My Overall Rating - 4 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - You'll find Milk T Bar tucked away in downtown Carrollton. There's a decorated wall adorned with some neon lights perfect for posting photos of your drinks to your favorite social media feed. There's also a wall of Post-It-Notes. Go ahead and leave a note for your future self. Heads up, Milk T Bar is very small. There's only one table so if it's taken you'll have to look elsewhere. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I've never had any issues with the service here. Nothing but good people. 1 Star. Food - On my most recent visit, I went with the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Unlike other tea shops, I wasn't asked to modify my sweetness level (I normally do 50%). No need because Milk T Bar's version of the Brown Sugar Milk tea has the perfect level of sweetness. The boba were perfectly cooked, were soft, and did a great job soaking up the milk tea. Best of all, my tea starred in a photo posted to my favorite social media feed. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I still need to sample their taiyaki and take more photos for Yelp. Milk T is a nice, surprising find in downtown Carrollton. Even tho it's not located near all the other restaurants, it's worth a trip if you're nearby! It's a tiny corner shop with minimal seating (no tables) so it's definitely a grab-n-go type of spot. I tried the taro milk tea with boba, it was really good! The tea was creamy and I was able to lower the sugar level (wasn't listed on the menu but you can ask). The boba was very chewy. Overall it was a good experience and we'd return if we can! read more

One of my favorite boba places! (coming from someone who gets boba weekly) The owner is incredibly nice, and the topping ratio is always generous. I rarely change my order but when I do, the drinks are always tasty and I love the taiyaki. The post-it wall is also really cute. Love this place! read more

The brown sugar was AMAZING!!! and definitely my favorite. We tried the nutella taiyaki and it was definitely a must have! the shop is small and cozy, definitely a grab and go spot as there arent any tables, the service was amazing and the worker was very kind and made sure we were satisfied with our order and even threw in an extra taiyaki! The place is very small, and their menu is simple. Mostly milk tea and different type of custard for the fish pastry. There was only one guy working there, but he is very kind. I had the black milk tea, and it tasted good. My friend had the jasmine milk tea with boba, and she liked it. He also gave us a box of choco pie for free too. We also had the fish pastries. I had the green tea custard in mine, and you can really taste the green tea. It's more authentic and not overly sweet. For 5, it's only around $8 and you can have diff fillings like Oreo, Nutella, custard, cheddar cheese and green tea. read more

Can't believe I just found out about this place. It's tucked away in Downtown Carrollton but I would drive here just for the taiyakis and drinks. The taiyaki is sooo good!! It even tastes good if you take it home (refrigerate it) and eat it the next day. Just air fry it for a few minutes and it gets amazingly crispy and tastes delicious. They are also very generous with the filling. I got green tea custard, custard, and cheese and they were all oozing out with filling when you bite in. Love this place!! This is my 3rd time comin and the tea and taiyaki always hits!. I usually get the Nutella and custard taiyaki but decided to indulge and tried the green custard as well.. it was very nice! With the fresh and hard crust and soft middle. We tried all the taiyaki flavors and our favorites were matcha custard, custard and Nutella. Our kids liked the Oreo, and the cheese was our least favorite. The price is fantastic considering how much we've paid elsewhere. When fresh, it was crispy outside. I tried a few of the drinks, and they were all good. Not overly sweet and good tea flavors. The coffee was different, not too sweet and not too strong, and I liked it. My husband liked the jasmine milk tea bc it was strong. Cute, small shop. No place to work or hang out. This is a small shop that's mainly for togo in the downtown Carrollton area. It has a small menu but the drinks are great!!
