Nubo Tea Co was so good! I love the space and all the decorations they have, look very nice and clean. We got the Matcha Latte with Coconut Foam and Lychee Watermelon Green Tea. I got the wintermelon milk tea with half sugar and boba. The milk tea part tasted good, but the boba was too soft. I think the boba was sitting there for a while. I prefer my boba more firm and chewy. The pandan waffle tastes really good. It's a little sweet, so you don't need to add syrup to it. Just recently tried this spot and it was great! The staff were extremely helpful and very nice when I was ordering and helped me pick exactly what I wanted. Not only is this local shop aesthetically pleasing but it has amazing boba tea! The staff is always so friendly with helpful suggestions & great knowledge of what's on the menu. They are known for their golden boba which I believe is made from brown sugar and tastes delicious! You can't go wrong with almost anything you get there. I absolutely love Ding Tea, and I'm thrilled to see them finally open a location in The Colony! For the longest time, I used to drive all the way to Richardson just to get my Ding Tea fix. However, with new boba shops popping up in Carrollton, I stopped making the trek. Recently, while spending more time in The Colony--a place that doesn't have much in terms of Asian food--I was ecstatic to spot a Ding Tea sign. I couldn't believe it! After liking a Facebook post about the new location, I knew I had to check it out. I went in and ordered my usual, the Wintermelon Green Tea, and it was perfect as always. My friend tried the new Watermelon Lemon drink, and while it was alright, it wasn't as refreshing as we had hoped and lacked a strong lemon flavor. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my Wintermelon Green Tea. The service was straightforward and efficient, and the interior of the shop is absolutely stunning. I love the neutral, trendy design--it's very relaxing and homey, and definitely adds to the overall experience. I'm so happy that The Colony now has more authentic boba options. Ding Tea continues to be a favorite, and I'm excited to have it closer to home! read more

My first milk tea and Boba experience. I frequent the coffee shop that Ding just opened up by and I made a note to myself to give them a try once opened. This place is so cute inside, very relaxing vibes. I came in and while looking over the menu, the cashier was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions on what drink and Boba flavor to select. I decided on the brown sugar milk tea with the golden boba which came to 7.20. The drink is nicely sized and they give you plenty of Boba. I enjoyed the flavor of the drink, the brown sugar was pronounced but not overpowering; I would have liked more brown sugar personally. Unfortunately, I didn't like the boba, the texture was the main issue, the boba was soft and chewy but had no true flavor to me. Though I didn't personally like the added boba, I would get the same drink and try other flavors as well. I recommend Ding Tea for sure. read more

This is the cutest spot. My sister was in town and of course we wanted to get our boba fix. I've hard of Ding Tea before but have never been until now. It's a quaint spot and super cute inside. Writing this review for the customer service and perfect drink! I informed the cashier I wanted a brown sugar milk tea with boba, 50% sweetness, and 50% ice. She was so kind to inform me that because I was getting a lower percentage sweetness level it make affect the taste of the drink. She then mentioned if I would like it sweeter she would remake the drink for me:--) She didn't have to do that, but that was super kind of her. Assuming it would be a bit troublesome to remove the plastic sealed lid--that was more kind of her to offer to adjust the drink and re-do that process. I recommend this boba spot! 7 leaves and Ding Tea are my favorite boba spots. I like bringing people to Ding Tea because of the larger menu. This location just opened up in the Colony and the aesthetic could not be more perfect. Out of the few locations I've been to this one is the prettiest. It's so pretty! We came in on a Saturday around lunch time. There were a few people there. We were instantly greeted and our drinks came out fast. I went with my normal traditional milk tea, my husband had the Thai tea and our kids the mango slush. All were sooo delicious. So happy to see this place here! This place is the best boba place ever! They have many different tea options and get new ones every once in awhile, as well as yummy foods/snacks. My friends and I do our Bible Study there every Thursday and the employees and owner make sure you feel at home and get to know you. Full disclosure: 7 Leaves is my gold standard for bubble tea. Ding Tea is now the closest tea shop, making them dangerously convenient. Overall I enjoyed my Thai Tea but I still prefer 7 Leaves. There was a slight difference in flavor from my first and second visits. Maybe that's to be expected since they claim to make each one fresh, but consistency has always been one of the things I love about 7 Leaves. Apparently, 'made-to-order' is also why Ding Tea doesn't offer samples. Without being able to try the different flavors before committing, I will be hesitant to order many of their flavors. It's unfortunate because they have a decent selection. With the exception of a couple of drinks, they only offer one size. If you plan to make repeated trips, they have a rewards club that's easy to sign up for. I appreciate that they're open late (10 pm on most nights). Service was ok the first time and friendlier on my second visit. Drink orders are turned around pretty quickly but both times I was there, I was 2nd or 3rd in line so it wasn't too busy. They offer limited seating indoors and out and I spotted some board games on the shelf. Be advised, parking is tight at times and there's a pizza place in the same shopping center; those delivery drivers like to whip in and out quickly. read more
