My favorite smoothie with the Digestive Health (probiotics) and Immunity Boost enhancers is doing the trick to getting me back to normal. Not all locations have a drive thru, this one doesn't. The smoothies are on the pricey side. And the store itself could use a good wipe down of counters and tables. I'm still happy with my purchase and the options. Paying $13 for a smoothie bowl that was not made correctly and having to wait 10 extra minutes for it after ordering in advance online is a crazy work! Today I ordered online a PB Swizzle smoothie bowl with a SUBSTITUTION of honey instead of peanut butter. I arrived at the store within the designated time of the order to be completed and was told that the manager left the store to get fresh fruit for my bowl. I had a meeting in 30 minutes so I said I can only wait for 10 minutes. They agreed and I waited in the store for the manager to return. Eleven minutes later, my order was ready. It was put in a bag and I left. I arrived at home to find peanut butter on my bowl! Having to wait an extra 11 minutes for an advance order is already bad enough, but to have it be WRONG too is crazy. I don't even want this because I don't like peanut butter and I paid $13 for this! This is the worst smoothie king I've ever been too. The attitude of the employees are so negative that the atmosphere is tense. Waited 20 min for a smoothie when I was the only one there. Then the smoothie was too thick. Took 5 min to get a simple refund. They need to retrain and rehire the employees. A health store should not have this much of tense energy in the atmosphere. Have been coming here for a couple years and until the last month I have received a quality product from engaged employees in a good time frame (5-15 min). My last visits over the last month have been markedly different, for the worse. Here's why... 1) PRODUCT: When you walk in there is no inventory on the shelves. This is odd to see on multiple visits over the span of a month as all snacks, protein, everything is missing. We generally grab a bar, chips ect. to go with our smoothies...you just can't now. It's like they just moved in or are going out of business. 2) STAFFING: On each of my visits (Saturday's around lunch) they've had only ONE employee working. They're doing everything...taking orders, making smoothies, cashing people out while 10+ frustrated customers stare them down either waiting to order or receive their smoothies. Each time the one employee working has been visibly frustrated and red faced because they are drowning in orders and catching heat from customers due to understaffing by ownership. Prior to the last month, there were always two to three staff working depending on time of day. I told the person working on my last visit that I was sorry they were put in this situation, hoped customers were being patient, and tipped them a $20. They punched the register and said "yeah, guess the owner is trying to save some money" 3) TIMING: In each of my last visits I have not been able to place my order and receive it in under 30 min. The last time it took 45+ min and people were walking out. Today, (Saturday Feb. 2nd, 2019) I walked in and there were 4 people in line to order and 8-10 waiting for their smoothies. The young girl working was overwhelmed and flustered. I decided to not wait an hour on a smoothie but spend it writing this. Ideally, ownsership sees a multi-year customers feedback and and it effects change. If not, hopefully it informs potential customers of what their walking into...buyer beware. Regarding the rating for two stars vs one. The smoothie was still delicious, even if it took 30-45 min to enjoy. read more

To start the employees have masks under their chins while making smoothies. While the customers all have masks on. They do not wash hands between smoothies, and do not wear gloves while making the smoothies. I have come to this location many times, but will stop. I placed an online order at 1:15. Said it would be ready at 1:29 for pickup. I arrived at 1:30. It was not ready. At this point I understand, it's a little busy at this time. I continued to wait patiently as everyone else got their drinks. It wasn't until I asked at 1:47 if my online order was being made. They had no clue where my order ticket was. I've been a loyal customer of Smoothie King for YEARS and this location is the absolute WORST. I went in expecting to use my reward for the 2nd time now, attempting to give them another chance to get it right. I have a reward because I spend my hard earned money all the time! Right? RIGHT!!! Today I have my smoothies made and the cashier scans my reward offer for 1 of them and it gives her an error. That's a SYSTEM issue, NOT A CUSTOMER issue. I attempt to pull it up again on my iPhone (wallet) for her and there's no reward BECAUSE SHE USED IT and it disappeared! Do you guys know that after she did this, she advised me that I could not get my smoothie free. A REWARD I'd paid for!!! This location really is bad. The customer service is piss poor and they are incredibly incompetent! I left both smoothies & will certainly be contacting corporate. If you saw the reward, GIVE THE CUSTOMER the product. Simple. When I usually come here, they are very accommodating and friendly. Today I mentioned the price for my smoothie seemed incorrect compared to their display price. Rudely, the employee replied "oh it's a meal replacement that's why". First of all, that doesn't answer my question, as the display price is still not consistent with what she charged me. I come here after a hard workout from across the street at Orange Theory (you get a 10% discount for telling them). Some days are hit and miss. There are only about two to three people that actually make the smoothies well. There are also about two others that have no idea what they are doing. However I really like the rewards program.
