Nekter Juice Bar - Pb&J smoothie - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Plano, Texas

Nekter is clean and I was greeted upon walking in. I ordered a mango acai build your own bowl. I like that they blend it up fresh for each person ordering. I chose strawberries, pineapple, hempseed granola, coconut and agave on top. I began eating my howl the pineapple was pretty bitter because it was definitely cut too soon. I went back and had the pineapple switched out for strawberry instead and that made a difference. The bowl had a good consistency and I enjoyed it. I would say it's pricy for the fact that they don't give you so much fruit so I'd like to see a little more fruit on my bowl next time. Otherwise the quality of the ingredients were good and I will come back to try some other menu items. I was starving so the only picture i took was after I took a few bites already. read more

Stopped by yesterday in a rush - definitely do not recommend if you are wanting something quick. It's just not the type of juice bar with quick service due to their menu complexity. The menu and items themselves are great. Ingredients are flavorful and delicious. We ordered a smoothie that they got wrong - I ordered the summer raspberry with dole whip smoothie and they made me a raspberry smoothie without dole whip. My wife's mini parfait was made with no issues. Service was fine, just a bit slow. Its a small place. 2 workers were there when we arrived and they were making two other orders before us. Not sure we'll be back unless we know it would be a bit faster to get our order. read more

I just stopped by for a smoothie bowl and I was pretty shocked at my experience. I ordered a dragon fruit bowl and added a layer of vanilla chia seed pudding to it. The cashier couldn't find that on her screen for some reason, so she charged me for almond butter instead and made a note to add the chia seeds. So, I get my bowl and there is almond butter instead of chia seed pudding it in. I tell the man working there who made the bowl and he scoops the topping off with a spoon and re-does it with chia seed pudding!! I expected him to remake the bowl, and the location was not busy at all, but he didn't even do that. Thankfully I am not allergic to almonds, but I can't imagine how it could've gone if they did this to someone who did have a nut allergy. I don't like almond butter and even as I am eating it now, I can still taste it slightly. The place itself is fine and clean, but the way they operate and try to cut corners is a HEALTH HAZARD! read more

I thoroughly have enjoyed this juice bar over the years and it is just getting better and better. I come here usually post workout for refreshment. I see reviews on the customer service, but the gal was sweet in the morning and got me in and out of there. That's all I ask for so thank you. I love that they use all natural ingredients and it is health conscious without added chemicals and/or sugars. The pink smoothie is probably my fave however I've tried their acai bowls as well. They load those bad boys up pretty good so if you need adjustments let them know. They also have $1 wellness shots so right now the IMMUNITY one is the way to go with cold/flu season upon us. Load up on those vitamins and nutrients peeps it will do you good. This location is pretty convenient for me in the mornings so I scoot on over there after a workout at BMF. Cheers to you and to good health! read more

I went there yesterday and the girl at the store would not even acknowledge my presence or say "good morning how can I help you". At some point she even gave me the side eye like I was bothering her. There was an issue with my order and she yelled at me "show me the order on your phone! " Not a please not a thank you! They lost my business , the location at Park has much better customer service. read more

Staff is great but District Manager at his/her discretion disables the "build your own juice" option which I use & order the same juice every time. Then they forget to reactivate it. When this is disabled it forces you to come in, order & wait. Defeats the purpose of why I frequent this place & having a mobile app for pre-ordering. I understand you may be out of some items but take the order & ask for a substitute when the customer comes in... Most of the time what they are out of doesn't affect my order anyway. Have brought this to their attention on at least 4 different occasions & no one seems to care about the loss of business, so I will go elsewhere... read more

Second visit to Nekter and my açaí berry bowl was better this time than the last time. Last time, the açaí was too tart, maybe too much pineapples mixed in? Plus the color was light purple. This time it was a darker purple and not as tart. $10 sounds expensive for a bowl of açaí but I feel it's a pretty good portion, probably enough for two people to snack on. I love the granola they used too. It's not too grainy. I do wish they give more strawberries than just one. read more

I swear this has to be consistently THEE worse Nekter location. I can have something that I regularly get from any other Nekter location and have it taste perfect every time consistently. But for whatever reason and I mean without fail, EVERY single time I go to the 3309 Dallas Pkwy location my drinks/orders are complete trash. And I mean, throw it in the trash can inedible/un-drinkable. Not just my drinks but down to my ginger shots, they're not right. I sent my husband to pickup a Celery Aid and a 2oz ginger shot from this location today 3/I7. I ordered a 2oz ginger shot, I was not given 2oz. It was actually closer to 1oz. I measured it!!! Also, the ginger shot was dark cloudy green in color. I've had many ginger shots from Nekter and other juicing stores in the past and I have never before had it be green in color and I have never seen green ginger. Unreal!!! Also, the celery aid is terribly. It's super sour and taste like I just got a cup of lemon juice. I literally just had these same 2 items from another Nekter location yesterday (8255 Preston Rd) and both were perfect. The only reason we went to this location today was because they're by far closest to my home. But yea, I simply drive double the distance to have what I've actually paid allot for. read more

I came out of work on a Saturday afternoon and decided to be healthy and try the acai bowl here. This was my first time ever coming and I ordered the mango acai bowl. This bowl included many of the things that I liked such as banana, coconut flakes, pineapples, and more! I thought it was delicious and the ingredients were blended in perfectly well. The workers here were welcoming as well! The lady at the register gave me suggestions on what to get for the first time and she was right! I didn't regret getting the mango acai bowl at all. Next time, I'm deciding on trying the acai with peanut butter as I heard it was quite popular and good. The place was clean and has a cute "nektar" sign that's great for pictures. I've definitely become a fan of this place. This place is quite pricey but can be easily fixed with a download of an app and earning rewards! read more

Paying these prices with a broken juicer is craaaazy, I'm definitely finding a more consistent place for juice, and smoothies, the employees deserve better equipment; because they experience the dissatisfaction of guest due to lack of up to par equipment. This is THE WORST Nekter location I have ever gone to. Seeing the latest reviews should be brought to corporates attention. I stopped in to get a bowl and the employee, Brei was every rude. After she made my bowl, she didn't acknowledge me, didn't look at me and tossed it on the counter. The bag fell over. She walked to the back. A new customer walks in and we are both waiting several minutes for someone to emerge. Brei was called up and I asked for her name and manager info. She smiled and told me. I asked her to write it down please and she told me no. She then walked away to the back again. I guest that walked in after me was shocked. I was shocked. I then asked for the other employee to help with a refund. Apparently Brei walked to the back and called the manager. The manager didn't speak to me and had her provide an email address to contact. Her/His name is Jae. Just poor service all the way around. I'll gladly go to any other one but this place. Horrible experience. The worst I've ever had. Oh, and my refund didn't include the tip amount and I asked for it. She said she didn't know how to help me. Just avoid. Brei needs to get out of the service industry. She clearly lacks social skills. read more

Ordered from here through Uber Eats for lunch at work one day. I got an açaí smoothie bowl but subbed pitaya. (I now noticed they have a pitaya bowl added to the menu). The cost was a well-spent $10.75 because it was a larger portion than I expected! It arrived in-tact and unmelted. Perfection! Was very good and my organs thanked me since they hadn't seen a fruit or vegetable in who knows how long. I did order it as is as far as toppings go and when I thought about it after I wasn't sure the granola was vegan. Just an FYI. I now get it without and add my own. read more

I'm on a mission to try every single one of these locations. So far they all are on par with each other. The ingredients seem fresh and not processed. I'm obsessed with this place and eat here for lunch at least twice a week. The açaí bowels are super fresh and filling. I've never been disappointed by the quality or service. Today I went for my favorite açaí mango bowl--sweet and delicious. Sometimes the amount of granola added to these bowels are never consistent, so I waited to order an extra serving to see if it was necessary. Well, the bowl needed more, so I asked Piwa how much the charge would be. She was so kind to give me a complimentary serving. I would not have mind paying extra after paying the first time. This is great customer service and she really stood out to me because she used her best judgement to determine how to handle my request. I'll definitely be back for another açaí bowl and the great customer service! read more

Much better options in the area, we were first time costumers and the original girl was sweet, "take your time, let me know when you're ready". We were looking over the menu and the second girl came up and was pushy, "what can we get you" after I said one moment "we are still looking" she asked again. We placed our order for 2 bowls and 2 drinks came out to 48.95, I pulled out a 50 and she said sorry we are cashless. No visible sign, and not accepting cash is stupid - I'd recommend Bowl Mami, or Vitality Bowls over this place. read more

Customer service is awful, took my order and had to wait 30 min or more so they could even start with my two drinks! I could see the employees playing around in the back. I'm appalled by the HORRIBLE RUDE STAFF! My husband and I ordered 2 juices, and at the register there was a sign at check out that any bowl is $2, with the purchase of a juice(any size). The girl at the register was young and played it off that you needed to order through the app for the discount. A clear lie to get out of refunding the discount. All other signs where you need to order in the App, clearly states just that! When my husband asked about it, her co-worker came over to help, and was met with MAJOR attitude! She told him to put down the sign for the discounted bowl and that he didn't need to respond to her, "because she was talking to her!" (The co-worker at the register)! I've never seen such horrible customer service and attitude over a simple question! When did the service industry die??! Needless to say, we won't be returning! read more

I worked in the service industry for over 6 years, and never have i ever ran into a staff so clueless of their duties. i love nekter, it is a place i'm extremely loyal to but i definitely left quite annoyed today. my name was butchered to something i've NEVER heard in my life and both staff members said they didn't know what the tumeric wellness shot was. i got my smoothie and did not get my shot because after 5 min, they said they were out of tumeric. again, love nekter.. love the location. except today, was just ridiculous. read more

I love Nektar, but my experience at this specific location really fluctuates and is never really consistent. One day the employees are extremely nice, the next day they aren't very friendly. I always prefer my juices made to order because I believe the fresher, the more nutrient dense. When I place an order, they keep suggesting the pre-made stuff on the shelf. I get that it's more convenient, but if I wanted to purchase those then I would know to grab them and be on my way. The girl with the long dark haired (she gives me manager vibes?) has always been so pleasant and friendly with me. Lately I find myself hoping she's working instead of anybody else because of the lack of friendly staff. I hate feeling like an inconvenience when I walk in. I'd love to come here more often since I live down the street, but all I ask is for the staff to not give such a negative and unwelcoming vibe. read more

Smoothie was great, staff was less so I have a more "ethnic" name which I understand can be difficult to pronounce when calling out an order, so usually I'm totally fine with just whatever item I ordered being called out. Today, the item I ordered was called out and as I left I distinctly heard the staff laughing over how difficult my name was to pronounce and just generally having a blasè attitude about even attempting to do so (something along the lines of "yeah I saw that and that's why I told you to just say the smoothie name) Pro tip: if you're going to make fun of peoples names, maybe wait until they're out of earshot to do it ‍ read more
