I'm unfamiliar with Plano. But what can only be described as its nightlife district, legacy Hall is across the street from Fogo De Chao, next to an outdoor venue that plays live music, has hip hop bingo, etc. and I haven't even started with the Legacy yet. Legacy is a three story indoor food plaza that also overlooks and is connected to the outdoor venue that you can get tickets for. With outdoor seating available. First floor is your eateries. Second floor is mostly seating and a couple bars. Third floor mostly bars and some seating. While waiting for my party to arrive I sat at the second floor bar, Heaven Hill, and ordered a couple cocktails. The bar tender, a pleasantly upbeat woman, educated me on the various food options as well as some of their favored cocktails. I had a raspberry beret (shoutout Prince) and a Larceny Paloma. The name was just calling me. While the beret was fruity and refreshing, the Paloma had a bite and kick that snuck up on you. I loved it!! As it's a mall of food there was no trying just one lol. We tried the dry rub brisket bar, chef chin's hibachi ramen, chilango's tacos, cotton and snow, and unlawful assembly brewing co. To finish the evening. Brisket with Mac and cheese; burria tacos; tonkotsu ramen; cookies and cream ice cream; and lastly a Moscow Mule to end the evening. The Mac and cheese from the brisket bar was terrible. Runny, and bland. But the brisket was amazing. Seasoned and tender and so moist!!! Tacos were exceptional. Ramen was awesome. Ice cream was ice cream. It wasn't bad, but not eye popping amazing. I was traveling for work and this place was right across the street. It's one of the better food halls I've been to. My favorite places were probably Street and Son of a Butcher. You really can't go wrong though because there are a lot of great options. I was disappointed the second time we got sliders. They gave us one of the wrong sliders and the one that we got that we didn't want was pretty boring. We're done. We've pretty much been regulars at the Lexus Box garden at Legacy Hall to see shows for years. We rented tables or reserved the seated areas upstairs, dropping a lot of cash along the way for overpriced drinks. The tables were special because we could sit and enjoy the show. The GA people who stand were roped off to the front or the sides. They've recently raised prices almost double for tables to around $300 and we got invited to sit with friends for the Emerald City show last night. First of all, they started an hour late and we got there early in the first place. Not cool. It was mayhem, with people standing all around us, using our table to put their empty drinks and generally crowding us up so we couldn't see a thing even while standing. I asked security and they pretty much shrugged. We're done, got ripped off and won't be back. Plenty of other venues in town. read more

A new place opened up - Street by Jimmy Li in Legacy West! (It doesn't have its own page yet) I'm a sucker for pork soup dumplings so consider me biased. The sauces could easily be way better but still a good place. (Not shown) The passion fruit drink is also pretty solid. The staff are quick to serve you and don't say too much haha. Enjoy while it's hot! The two man shop shows me they the process nailed down. Stopped by for a holiday lunch on a weekday in December and it was pretty easy to find a big table upstairs. I went for some Chinese food from STREET by Chef Jimmy Li - the pot stickers were juicy and excellent, and the soup that the wontons came in had a nice tang. Wontons themselves didn't immediately fall apart and tasted good too. Prices are what they are at Legacy Hall, which is to say everything comes with a notable upcharge, but STREET was running a 10% off all items deal for the holidays, so that helped a bit. The big seating area upstairs also has really skinny tables so it can be a pain to try to fit all the trays and food items of a big party, and the chairs aren't super comfortable, but I assume they're just trying to provide as much seating as possible. I love a good food hall and Legacy definitely didn't disappoint! I love the multi-floor concept with a great seating area & stage in the back! Such a fun place to take out of towners and love the ample seating options available. Really great variety of food options that lends itself for everyone in your party to find something they can enjoy - I opted for some a sliced brisket sandwich from Dry Rub, my friend got a sushi tower from Horu sushi kitchen that looked really good, and we both got some shaved ice. The brisket sandwich was really juicy without being too fatty which is definitely a tough combination to get right! I really liked the Mac and cheese side I got with it as well, the noodles were al dente vs more often times than not they got overcooked and mushy with Mac and cheese. I loved that they were also gemelli pasta which is my fav! The snow ice was amazing! I was worried it would be a glorified snow cone but the snow ice was creamy and there weren't any ice chunks! I got the strawberries and cream and my friend got the key lime pie, it was so perfect to eat as we sat out back and watched the incredible karaoke concert. Came to Cotton and snow because last month we came here I didn't get to grab my shaved iced! No room so on this trip 2/28/26 made sure we hit it!! The service was prompt and friendly!! Went to find a seat as last time we sat at Vinotopia and bought drinks. Only this time some racist lady came to tell us we can't sit there with a child?!! I said we sat here last time with my 11 year old my child is not messy so idky she had a bad attitude. There was two kids sitting in that area the same time and they were way younger than my child so why do we get racially profiled for?! Had a ball roaming the food hall taking in the sights and smells of delicious foods. We were a group of 4 hungry indecisive women wanting to enjoy a girls night out. We ended up sharing, shrimp crab melt and lobster bisque from a seafood stall. Chopped brisket nachos from a taco spot while one person enjoyed sampling wines from different countries with her preloaded pass card. To top off the evening we had a boozy banana pudding shaved ice. This place is well worth the visit if you're into food halls. For a Saturday it was busy, but wasn't so busy that you didn't have room to maneuver or couldn't find seating. There's 3 levels to this food halls. The first floor consist of restaurants, wines, and ice cream. The second floor is more of bar type establishments where you can watch sports on their big screen tv's. I'm not sure what the 3rd level is, at my time of visit it was closed off. Outside there is an open space area that hosts concerts and even outside there's a jumbo screen to watch shows. In all you're coming here for the food, entertainment and people watching. This is such a unique place with a variety for foods to choose from. My fav places were the Chinese place that sold the dumplings and chili wontons. There was also a soul food spot that sold French fries that were cooked in duck fat. Came here for a group work function. It was a different idea to offer group apps and an everyone got a gift card to spend on the food of their choice from the food court. Pros: Bottom floor offers an array of options for any palate - vegan, sushi, Mexican, Italian, American, wings, you name it! Tables are scattered around so you can sit to enjoy your food. -Bathrooms were clean located at the end of the building. - floors 2&3 have a full bar and more tables - fun outdoor covered patio on both levels overlook a courtyard where there's a stage (karaoke!) picnic tables , yard games. - loved the option to sample at different restaurants- I loved my tater tots (extra crispy!) and vegan taco. Cons: It did seem a bit divisive for a group gathering. Many of us ended up scattering to get our own meals and it was challenging to meet back up as a group. It has everything on it that you could want--though I get it without the pico and get extra of the spicier salsa. Definitely big enough to share because I can never finish on my own, and I have a big appetite. I've had their tacos too, but they are a bit small of a portion for me. The chicken wing combo was my man's meal. He looooved the crust of the chicken. He described it as flakey yet still juicy inside. We had originally come into the area to go to dinner at the restaurant next-door. Unfortunately, they were closed for a private event so we had to look for another option and they had recommended the Legacy Food Hall. We arrived on a Thursday evening around 430, 5 o'clock in the afternoon and it was very busy. While this location is super large, there were a lot of areas that were sectioned off for reservations/holiday parties. The great thing about this location though is that there are plenty of food Halls or should I say food stalls where you can grab a little bit of everything. We opted for Dock local, which specializes in lobster, seafood, and shrimp. We both end up getting lobster grinders, which is their version of a lobster roll. And we got the lobster garlic french fries. We easily could've just gotten the lobster french fries as they had great portions of lobster meat with the fries, but the fries were perfectly cooked and had great flavor to them. The lobster grinder was good. I do wish that the bun would've been cut just a little bit more so the lobster actually seeped into the bread as it was a little hard to eat, because everything was scooped into the center. Such a cool concept with a large variety of dining options! I came to Legacy Hall on a Saturday night with my whole family. From Tacos to Indian food to Vegan Burgers, there's bound to be something that peaks your interest! Since our group had 9 people total, it was nice that everyone was able to pick whatever they were craving. Although the myriad of options is nice for a large party, I will say that the seating situation isn't very suitable for groups. It took us a bit to find an opening, especially since they closed the outside dining area for some reason. We ended up finding couches on the second floor that were comfortable! Today I decided to get a wrap from Blist'r Fresh Naan Wraps. I left a more in depth review on their Yelp page, but would definitely give their wraps a skip. I've had the hongos tacos from Chilangos Tacos before and absolutely recommend those! TL;DR - Awesome place if you're looking for a variety of dining options. Chilangos has great tacos!
