It's an average breakfast place with above average prices. The avocado toast was stale, soggy and untoasted. For $16.50 we should be able be able to get basic breakfast items. Their lucky they are in a prime location because the food is mediocre. Their pastry case was also very sad and stale. The poppy seed muffin was delivered hot on the outside and near frozen on the inside. If you like feeling ripped off and disappointed this is your place! read more

Came here to visit with my husband for the first time. It was very quiet and laid back feeling when we entered with a few people seated working on their laptop or having a one on one chat. If I lived closer I would come back to try more because their menu has a wide variety of items to choose from! I ended up getting the shakshuka which was so spicy I had to order extra avocado to try and tone it down so I probably wouldn't get it again. Came here many time to get coffee Togo with my small doggo. Today came in ordering holding my pup the employee says no dogs lol. Like what? She rolls her eyes ignored me and said no dogs inside. You're apart of a complex where many people most likely have pets. Glad now we know, no dogs are welcome even service animals. Cute cafe with delicious coffees and food! Met a friend here for lunch recently. The cafe is small but had plenty of tables on a Friday afternoon. You order at the counter and someone brings you your order to your table. We both ordered the sunrise toast, it had beet hummus, capers, scrambled egg, avocado, and smoked salmon on top. I was not expecting it to be so big but it was plenty of food! I was only able to finish half and took the rest home. I really wanted to like Nest Cafe, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The food was underwhelming overall--the açaí bowl was very runny, and the avocado toast came out only lukewarm. It also took over 40 minutes to receive our breakfast, which felt excessive given how simple the dishes were. The atmosphere didn't help either. The restaurant felt extremely stuffy and uncomfortable, which made the long wait even more noticeable. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due--the staff refunded our meal without us even asking, which was appreciated and showed good customer service. I've been back to The Nest a few times since my first review and had to update it after this last visit with all three kiddos. They were not looking forward to trying someplace new, but when they read the menu they got excited and when their food arrived they were thrilled (so was I!) The older kiddos ordered the Kids Pancakes, which usually leaves them starving, but when the two large pancakes were placed in front of them with a side of whipped cream (a special request) they were thrilled. My youngest had the eggs, bacon and min pancakes kids order and was also thrilled. She shared the bacon with her brothers, ate the eggs and took home the pancakes she just couldn't finish. Meanwhile I got to enjoy every bit of my Wrap (still my favorite thing on the menu) with side salad. Everything was fresh, the service was quick and we all left full and happy. Very very good lavender latte, almond milk. Five stars for flavor and doable price. Base latter price is $4.33. One size only - 12 oz. $6.63 ($1 almond milk, 0.80 honey lavender). I think the only way for me to keep drinking lattes I need to limit the size... My Latte POV: So my coffee taste cannot distinguish where coffee beans come from, whether it's Arabica Colombian Timbuktu etc nor can I ascertain bean flavor -sweet chocolatey robust etc no idea what those mean...the flavor that I want my coffee to taste is a fine line between bitter and sweet and this lavender latte was spot on. Went in the early afternoon, 1 pm on Tuesday. I got the eggs Benedict with the potatoes and it was really good! The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was nice and creamy, and the potatoes were hot and well seasoned. It was really big and filling for me. Service was great, again you order at the front, and the food came out super fast! Presentation is lovely as always. There is also a self service water station which was nice.
